Lindsay Lohan: Normal Girl

Forget about that image of Lindsay Lohan as a troubled superstar that you might have in your head — the latest spin on her life is that it’s not very different from that of any normal girl of her age. In a brief interview conducted by People at the Los Angeles premiere of the Showtime series The Tudors on Monday, Lindsay seemed so mundane while discussing herself. After the jump, we review what what we’ve learned:

- Like your average young girl, Linds likes boys! ("I’m dating…I’m really happy and I’m having fun!")

- Like your average young girl, Linds is making her best effort to
avoid gossip, even if it’s coming from the tabloids and not mean girls
in the cafeteria. ("I’m hearing a lot of [critical] things if I go out,
so that always sucks. But it’s like, when do people not say it? They’re
always going to say things, so I expect it.")

- Like your average young girl, she’s still learning, albeit her
recent lessons come from rehab. ("There’s no way you can’t learn a lot
in a program like that, and it’s good. I recommend it for anyone who
needs it.")

- And, if a separate story in the New York Post
can be believed, like your average girl, Linds totally, like, doesn’t
always get along with her father. (She’s said to have told her recently
released dad, "You still haven’t changed. Don’t go near my mother ever
again.")

Below are some shots of Lindsay from The Tudors premiere, posing with British pop star Robbie Williams and vamping on the red carpet. You know, like your average girl. [People]
