And now, a special dispatch from World of Pop blogger Mark Graham: After an incredibly well-mannered first episode of the 2007 World Series of Pop Culture, you gotta love how last night’s episode took a turn for the trashier. In the first matchup (pictured above), Jammin’ on the 1 talked all kind of pre-game trash to the Twisted Misters, but in the end the Misters prevailed. The second pairing of the evening saw Virginia’s Lucky Stars take on Chicago’s bathrobe-clad trivia warriors, 3 Men and a Little Lazy. The 3 Men extinguished those Lucky Stars, big time.
