I Know My Kid’s a Star Preview: Rocky Cracks
I Know My Kid’s a Star’s breakout personality, Rocky, earned that designation from her outrageous behavior. And, as you can see in the clip above (a preview of Thursday’s episode), there’s plenty more where that came from. In the early part of the clip, she mocks Gigi relentlessly, but it’s the second part in which she truly shines. She spazzes out in the confessional booth, ranting about getting no sleep “in this friggin’ wacked house.” “I wanna plug in my P.A. system for these whores…and their brats!” she shrieks, giving us her most memorable quote since, “What, my tampon’s showing?” We’ve said it before, but this time we mean it: this woman is truly amazing.

Cutting Hayley was so stupid for the show its pitiful. If anyone thinks a reality show is about competition…then why do we keep seeing sequels of Love For New York and Rock Of Love ? Eh? Its about ratings, and unless VH-1 took out Hayley and Rocky to start them their own show…then somebody’s nuts. Believe you me, theres an “it” factor for shows and this one just went dull.

This is horrible for these children.My child is a star and I would never put her through such madness! It would totally ruin it all for her.This show takes the fun and passion for what they r trying to do and turns into trauma.I became sick after watching 1 episode.I barely got thru it.It’s child abuse and its not worth it for these children.Who cares about the parents they shouldnt even be a part of the show.This would confuse my child.My child auditions with confidence,all natural talent and a sincere smile-gives it all she has every single time-they are all winners.This show makes them see a different side-all negative.Poor kids and how irresponsible of the parents to even allow their children to go on this type of journey.OMG,unbelievable.I tried putting myself & daughter in that position in my mind and realized how she would probably never have a desire to be in the business.Its all about enjoying,loving,having fun with what you do.Also knowing that you are a winner no matter what.Some of these children will not be able to deal with this type of longterm stress and also may cause trouble between the children and their mothers.Way too much negative to say about all of this..it is sickening..dont do this to your children..please!!!!!

After watching these episodes, being a mother and grandmother, it just puzzles me that most of these mothers and children were chosen to be on this show…..I hate to sound like a b–ch, but, most of these kids have “very” little talent. And as far as this show goes, and as much as I think that Rocky is a whacko and Hayley’s a big brat, they made the show more interesting to watch. I’d like to know the “true” biography/backround of this Rocky #!*!*. It was very obvious that she wanted her 15 minutes of fame far more than for her daughter (no matter how often she cried). How can any child focus on performing before judges when you have such a screwed up mother embarrassing the hell out of you on television. Way to go Rocky!!!! You need some serious therapy ASAP along with Hayley, before it’s too late.

It goes without saying that Rocky has some “issues” but she was the only mother that didn’t bore me to death. I would rather deal with a person that says it like she sees it than those other superficial phony @#)`+ es that would rather stab you in the back in your sleep than be honest and upfront. I think given more time, Rocky would have toned it down even more than she already has. Hailey does have the “it” factor, Mama just needed to mellow out and let her daughter shine. They should have at least kept them around for a while longer since ratings are first and foremost what matters to the network. Since the only interesting duo has been eliminated, I’m outta here. Bad decision VH1.

I’d like to know if she has her own web site where I could learn more about her. I feel the show is gonna lose most of it’s viewers since all the other mothers bore me to tears.

I believe Rocky and her daughter should have their own show. I don’t believe the show will be as good now that they have been kicked off. I rarely watch reality television, but that woman drew me back after time to watch. She’s great!

Now that “whacko” Rocky is gone, I have no desire to watch this show. Her daughter, Hayley, is absolutely gorgeous, regardless of her lack of talent. I just caught the last episode on Tivo and to my utter astonishment, Danny let go of the show’s only saving grace…Rocky. What the hell was he(and the lunk head producer’s) thinking!!!!??? Without Rocky and Hayley around, the show will be nothing but an hour long void. Who seriously wants to see these moms and kids without the conflict, drama and humor that Rocky brought to the proceedings. “Not me,” said the average tv viewer, and that just so happens to be me. “Hey switch the channel,” I’m yelling, “I think Talk Soup is doing another IKMKAS segment.” At least I can get a momentary Rocky fix on another channel. Hey VH1, I thought you guys were hipper than this.

I don’t know what kind of family you people were raised from, but for a child and I’m repeat child to yell ” I want to be rich and famous” tells you there’s trouble brewing. I have a very cool mom and all my friends like her. But she knows how to seperate the two of being a mom and being cool. I believe Rocky can still be a cool mom without having to teach her daughter to be RAUNCHY PARENT!!! My mom wears cool jeans and skater T-shirts,but like I said she knows where to draw the line. I hope Rocky will continue to be a cool mom but also teach Hayley some guide lines on being a cool kid!

I was so happy to see that pathetic, sunk-in faced, skinny, drug induced excuse for a mother voted out. I only hope that Child Protective services looks in on that poor kid before that joke of a mother, trying to live off her days of 80’s LA rock strippers and groupies, sells her off for another hit of crack or meth. I was in a rock band in the 80’s, played Gazzaries, The Troubador, The Palace and others and she reminded me of the same girls that would do anything to be with the bands, but now of course no longer 19, but 42+. I recently saw a presentation on VH1 about some fat, overweight mothers exploiting their 6-year-old daughters in “beauty pageants.” These obese sows actually got more out of their daughters winning a contest than their daughters. These has-beens live vicariously through their daughters, and actually believe that they are somehow contributing to their daughter’s self esteem.
These pageants take place primarily in the Bible belt, and are attended by men as well as women. One can only think that there is a prurient interest by the men in these exploited children. The mothers paint their faces like an adult, and have their little girls wear sensual adult style clothing and swim suits. The MC was male, and one wonders if any of the men attending this event were not in fact closet pedophiles or outright child molesters.
Even if this were a totally female undertaking, one would wonder why any mother would exploit their children in this way unless they saw dollar signs at the end of the road. The comments of the little girls seem to indicate that they are more obsessed with their appearance than they are with their intelligence. What are these mothers thinking? One look at the mothers and you realize that they couldn’t win a beauty contest against a wild boar, so they do it through their daughters. Have they forgotten Jon Benet Ramsey? These people need to be on Jerry Springer!
