The only reason, Bret chose Amber was because she is 37! He does not want to alienate his TARGET AUDIENCE! He is very well aware of the fact that most of his fans are in their late 30’s and early 40’s!

Frankly, there was NO CHEMISTRY between Bret and Amber, their kisses seemed forced and rehearsed!

I am not one to watch “looking for love” shows, but I got a kick out of Rock of Love 2. I thought Bret handled himself well. He’s still a guy regarless of his age and I don’t think 44 year olds are ready for the old folks home. I’d love to meet the guy, I don’t think he is as shallow as he has been portrayed.
Whether it’s real or not…don’t know, I guess it depends on how well his new album and tour goes before we know if there will be a ROL3. And I would also like to know if his hair is real.. And the girls they picked, I hope they had their vaccinations before coming on the show…

I hope this is my last blog because I am getting sick of this but I keep coming back for more! I have decided I should go to one of these shows so he can see what a gorgeous girl with brains and morals really looks like! … cont’d from below …. so anyhow it was so cute cause all the girls came running up to him to take his picture – he has his own little fan-base now :o) I didn’t bring my camera like an idiot, but i did get a pic on my cell phone. Anyhow, it was an excellent show – the band that was with him was awesome – sounded just like Poison – see the show if you can since it’s really good. And it’s nice cause it’s a much smaller venue.

I have loved you since I was 13 and your music continues to rock! I’ve senn you 2 times so far in concert and you kicked my a$$ both times. I REALLY hope you come to Memphis,TN on your summer tour this year because I would love to see you again. Hope to see you soon!

Bamboozle Festival E. Rutherford, New Jersey == Monday, May 05, 2008

Bret had been looking forward to this show since the day the contract was signed.

An opportunity for Bret to play to a huge young new audience most of which may have never seen POISON.

As luck would have it, Bret came down with a severe case of laryngitis after already having the flu. The night before in Pottsville PA, warned of signs that Bret may be pretty ((+@ se on the day of the Bamboozle Festival.

As we woke up it became obvious that Bret was sick, REAL SICK.

As show time approached, the idea of cancelling the performance came into play. But it was the last thing Bret was going to do. Clearly letting everyone know it was not an option, he disappeared into the back room for some personal meditation, preperation, and a professional vocal warm up.

5 minutes before show time, the idea of cancelling came up again, and Bret could barley say the simple one syllable word NO but managed to force it out. Promoters managers and other bands stopped by during the day and almost everyone of them said the same thing “We wouldn’t play if we were this sick.” in fact several other acts between the 2 days did have to cancel due to illnesses. At 45 probably the oldest but also obviously seasoned act of the entire show Bret was about to show over 30 bands and 40 thousand fans why he has had a consistent 20 plus year career in Music, Film and now Reality TV.

Literally unable to speak a word Bret hit the stage at exactly 5:40, and from that moment on gave 200%. Where he could have reached into his catalog of autistic ballads and sang softly, he chose the high road and marched right to the front line with TALK DIRTY TO ME, LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN, and the high energy solo song BITTERSWEET. Looking out into the audience it was obvious that the crowd was unaffected by his ((+@ se voice. The crowd was the biggest of the festival and the energy was at an all time high. To top it off Bret gave a near 45 minute set when his contract was only for 35 minutes. As in true BRET MICHAELS fashion, he gave more than expected under severe conditions. For the final song Nothin’ But A Good Time Bret was joined by the widely popular Coheed and Cambria. Who have crossed paths with Bret over the years and both Coheed and Bret are confessed fans of each other’s brand of ROCK. Later that night Bret was spotted on Coheeds stage enjoying their performance, and later watching Panic At The Disco before the festival came to a close.

Despite Bret’s illness, he had an amazing time and was thankful that the fans seemed to enjoy his performance.

bret you have rocked our world for years and i luv u for that you have written songs that we rock to —- to and cry to..i think you r fine and if i wasnt queer as a 3 dollar bill i would ROCK your world but no can do…but anyway keep rockin luv your shows..have seen u 5 times in cinn.riverbend but wish i could see u at a smaller venue cause if your on the lawn cant see ~!`_ this year the old lady and i are bringing her 18 year old daughter she has never seen you in concert and i just wish she could see better the lawn sucks cant see ~!`_ but mom and i smoke cigs. and dont like the pavillion.. take care of your self ROCK OUR ^&! ES off this year… as for all u ^&! es that think he is old..kiss ^&! he does a GREAT JOB and has for years.. but i will have to say if u would have picked that skank daisey i would have really wondered about your sanity.. i think u made the right choice but heather was one hot *^@@! how did u let that get away..i would luv to see her dance routine im a BIG fan of dancers also..IF they know what there doing..good ones dont have to take it off..they just need to know how to ROCK IT.. cant wait to see ya in cincy in aug.
