The Celebreality Interview - Thing 1
“I still have my sister on there, so she’s still representing us. My spirit is through her, so I’m still on the show through my sister,” says Thing 1 on her elimination from Flavor of Love 3. After the jump, the realitwin talks fakeness, being grouped with her sister as one contestant and those nasty oral-sex allegations.
How was your time on the show?
It was a quite an experience. It had its fun moments, I have to say. Being in that environment was definitely intense. As it got closer and closer to the end, it became very emotional.
How did you feel about Flav grouping you with your sister as one contestant?
We always have been close our whole life, but at first it was kind of strange for us to compete as one person. That wasn’t our intention coming into the show. Eventually, it became sort of normal, considering the circumstances we were in. We got used to it, it wasn’t a big thing after a while.
Normal to the point where being split up was upsetting, right?
It was emotional. We knew it was going to happen, but we didn’t think it was going to hit as hard as it did.
That came as a result of the new girls interviews with the “old girls.” Do you want to talk about that? You were made out to be kind of a polygamist…
That’s so not true. What I said was, “We’re fine how it is right now. I cannot tell you how we’ll feel in the future, and as women, it would be difficult for us to share. But at this particular time, our situation is OK.” I wasn’t saying, “We’ll both be with him!” I wasn’t saying that and I wasn’t OK with that. That made me mad because they didn’t air that, and I felt like it looked like I wasn’t being serious.
The Bottom 2 came down to you and your sister and you were the one to leave. Did it make sense to you that you were the one to go?
I feel like it was unfair. My sister and I was feeling him the same exact way. I was feeling Flav a lot, and being in that situation, your feelings grow more and more. For it to be like I wasn’t feeling him more, that was hurtful. If I didn’t care about Flav, I wouldn’t have cared about what girls were fake and what girls weren’t. I woulda just been on there with a mission and that’s it. But no.
Any resentment for your sister for staying?
No, never! No show, no man, no nothing would ever break the bond that me and my sister have. When I went home, I told my sister to keep her head up. Keep fighting, you know?
You talked about not just being on a mission, but you did have a certain strategy going into the house, right?
I mean, it wasn’t like, “This is what we gonna do when we get in the house!” It’s that when you’re around certain females, you pick up on their characteristics and what kind of person they are. It bothered me that you could see right through the girls to what their agendas were. A lot of girls was fake in there, and were just on TV for exposure, to get modeling contracts and all that. They didn’t deserve to be there over somebody that was really there trying to look for love.
So that was the criterion for fakeness? Who was interested in getting involved in entertainment?
Right. Who was there to be there and who was there to get a career out of it.
You formed a bond with Sinceer, which was interesting because no one else did.
Sinceer and Shy were some of the realest girls in the house. They had in mind Flav’s best interests and that’s why we clicked so much. We felt like we were really there for Flav.
Any theories as to why Sinceer gravitated to you, considering how aggressive she was with many of the other girls?
I think real recognized real.
Are you still friends with Shy and Sinceer?
Definitely. We still talk a lot and everything.
Anyone else?
Grayvee. Not really anybody else, though.
Any outstanding beef with anyone?
I just can’t really remember all of them. Maybe if I watched some reruns it would come back to me, but nope. I don’t remember anybody else.
It seemed really unfair to me that the major reason you were eliminated had to do with your ex.
For me to go home off some bullcrap, to know that it was nothing but lies, just to make good TV, I thought it was unfair. I’m always honest. I’m a grown woman. I want to be ashamed of nothing that I do. To be exploited in that way, I was disgusted with that.
I also feel like, even if it were true, how is it anyone’s business what you did before you got in the house, anyway?
I mean, to say it like that, what was in the past was in the past. That doesn’t determine how I felt about Flav. It wasn’t like something came out that I was a prostitute or that I was doing modeling. No. I was only me. But going home based on a lie and for Flav to question me, I was really hurt by that.
Do you have resentment for him?
No. It was hard for him to have to choose between me and my sister and there had to be a reason for one of us to go. I felt like that made it a little bit easier. I still have my sister on there, so she’s still representing us. My spirit is through her, so I’m still on the show through my sister.
Flav cried when he eliminated you. That must have felt good, knowing that he cared so much?
I mean, I knew he cared because we had the connection. We spent a lot of time with Flav off-camera. We formed a bond. Flav is very smart. He can see through people, and he knew we was good-hearted people. It is what it is.
Were you attracted to Flav?
Definitely. I was attracted to how he was. His spirit was just so good and genuine. He was one of the most honest, the coolest person you could ever meet. That attracted me to him more than anything else.
What about a physical attraction?
When you first look at him, you be like, “Whoooo,” or whatever. But once you get past all that and know Flav for Flav, his inner personality, his inner beauty, that overshadows everything to make him the bomb person. You know what I mean?
Are you and your sister identical?
Yeah. Well, we’re supposed to be. (Laughs) I think over the years, we kinda changed.
I saw on your FlavorOfLoveWorld.com profile that you identify as the “curvier” twin.
Yeah. It’s so funny. People say, “Oh my god, she’s so big on TV.” I probably was a little big on the show, but I’m only like a buck 25! TV makes you look different.
Are you and your sister pursuing more work in the entertainment industry?
Well, I have to say that it’s definitely been a blessing being on the show. It gave us a lot of opportunities right now. You just kinda have to weigh out and see what you can do. I’m not no model or a singer or any of that stuff. I just have to wait it out and see what doors I want to go through.
But you didn’t go into the show feeling this way, right? That would have been fake, right?
No. My sister and I have always been shy. We were always shy to do commercials and those kinds of things. That wasn’t our main interest at all.
Did you take anything lasting away from the show?
I feel like I grew as a person, as far as my temper. I don’t be whoppin’ girls. I can handle myself a little better now. It was a learning experience and a great opportunity.

Ok first of all thing1 and 2 has a myspace page i seen it and don’t hate on them I feel that they are 2 beautiful geniune women who wqas there for the right reasons. They have beautiful personalities and carry themselves with class. Haters will always be around you girls…always hold your head up high thing 1 and thing 2. =)

Did any 1 notice the things are the only flavor of love girls who does’nt have a myspace page ,portfolio, or website! I’m thinking Thing 1 got eliminated already, so Thing 2 must be the new winner of FOL3! I think Thing 2 is there for Flavor Flav because She likes older men with lots of kids, she’s hella silly like flav and they both are kinda tore up from the floor up! Bottom line they have alot in common!

Indeed you reap what you sow and you and your sister are not exempt from that. Your behavior was ugly and it made you all look ugly as far as your appearance. Didn’t you see everyone talking about how ugly you girls were. Well alot of those comments came from people just not liking you because of how you acted. As for your friendship with Sinceer. The girl that made a comment that bunz didn’t have a mother. You all attracted each other because you’re alot alike in so many ways. I hope you all can look back at the show and see yourselves and make some changes. As far as you all getting gigs outside of Flavor of love, I don’t know who would want such ugly girls working for them and when I say ugly I’m speaking of your person not just your appearance and do I need to speak on your childish behavior. If an X-boyfriend of the other girls came on the show and put them on blast like your X did you, you all would have been trying to get them out of there but you didn’t seem to think that you should be booted out so you begged to stay. That was the first time I’d seen a girl beg to stay on that show. Grow up and get it together! You girls are a mess.

I dont know how tha twins even got on tha show. oh my god how could he front SHY like that and act like he didnt notice that tha twinz had hideous grillz and bad quickweave jobs and cheap lookin clothes. SInceer is all $!+` ed up her 4head is huge and she dont have any hair on tha sides. the way she hates Seezinz is weird and so not normal. I dont know how yall manage 2 get into tv mode cuz as soon as 1 of them ^!##) z woulda stepd in my face my 1st instinct woulda been 2 beat sum ^@~ Especially when Sinceers ugly ^@~ threw her bags out I promise I woulda tossd her ^@~ out wit my bags. At 1st I was so not feeling tha whole twin thang i felt like it was a gimmick. It took me a few episode 2 say 2myself that yall may b cool. I didnt feel tha snitching @+#% wit BX and Hotlanta. Snitchin aint neva cool in situations like that 2 me that was hella fake. Flav already know who he gon pick from tha get go so aint no point on snitchin on !$+&@ es. I dont know how yall befriend sinceer et lookin `~@ i woulda got tired of even lookin at her.

ok all that sounds real good but lets be real ALL those girls came on the show wanting something out of it whether it be acting or modeling (and a lot of those girls can forget that) even Flav himself why do u think he has done 3 of these shows it is a way for him to make money (and take care of all those damn kids) and makeout with 60 dummies who will do anything for 10 mins of fame. Those girls aint worried about being eliminated they waiting on the next door to open.

If you would hve really come there to have a relationship with Flav you and your gang would not have made so much mischief which showed the part of your character that has not grown up as yet. You claim that you are a grown woman and you still act like a child. I just think that you reaped what you sowed and the rest of your team will be going down right after you ,because you all were unfair to the other contestants who may have had true feelings for the man you all claim to like. I have one more thing to say after reading other comments!! It seems so funny to me that alot of guys comment on trivial BS. I think it is so childish that all guys wanna talk about is the physical. Who cares about gaps, how how much u weigh (as long as u dont look like a whale). BLAH BLAH BLAH why comment it just looks ignorent. Truth be told if u dont find someone u can love, no matter what they look like, then u gonna end up cheated on or divorced. I must say first and formost that the show is fun and entertaining. The fact that the twins were split up was bad enough. then for thing 1 to go home before her time was just a blow to the show man. Honestly i thought the twins were sweet girls. The proublem with shows like this is people get too caught up either in their own agendas, or the spirit of competition. Love is not a game, and although the show is entertaining, i don’t think the audience really takes it seriously, because this is not way to truely find love. Of course we can chose our favorites and get caught up in the made for tv drama but at the end of the day love takes time. I do think that the twins were feeling flav, but so were alot of people in the house the more they got to know him. I also see nothing wrong with people being models, singers, or knowing famous people. I think it is presumptous to point the finger at a person and say you are not here for flav cuz your a model or ect…. it happens every season and its BS, a persons ambitions or occupation do not determine wrather they will make a good match for flav. If anything flav should want someone who is intellegent and ambitious, and if that means that they design cloths, model, sing or want to work in entertainment sooooo what. And all those that dont realize it yet, every single one of those girls are there for TV and hope that if things dont work for flav that they will reap a reward in some form for being on the show. Dugh!!!!

Aww thats soo sad…I thought it was messed up that her ex came on there being a hater and all, but I didn’t think that Seezings was wrong for what she did..I mean throughout the whole show thing 1 & 2 were trying to out people about stuff..Now it was there turn to get outted…And at that roast when they was talking about Hotlanta’s pimple..nobody said anything about all those damn spaces that those twins have in their mouth..

THE FACT IS EVERYONE WHO DOES REALITY TV IS IN IT FOR TV. EVERYONE. IF THEY FIND SOMETHING ELSE ON THE WAY ITS COOL. BUT STARTING OUT TV EXPOSURE IS THE MAIN MOTIVATION. NONE OF THOSE GIRLS WOULD SEE FLAV ON THE STREET AND TALK TO HIM. OR BE WITH HIM. AS FAR AS THE THINGS, I FEEL BAD FOR THEM BOTH. EVERYBODY HAS THAT ONE HATER EX WHO WILL SAY WHATEVER. HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING, U CAN TELL. AND THE OTHER SISTER HAS TO STAY ON THE SHOW WITH THE REST OF THOSE CRAZY HOES. WOW. BUT FLAV OUTDID HISSELF THIS TIME. THESE HOES IS CRAZY. I didn’t use to like the things, but after seeing today’s episode, I like Thing 2. However, she is still ugly…LOL,but she cause less drama without her sister and I am so happy that her and Sincere is going to get into it next week. They probably are going to be cool again later, but still…..Sincere needs to go home!!!

Seezings need to leave. I could never figure out what was so mysterious about this girl until now. She lied to flav about having that discusion with Thing 1’s ex. She knew she was trying to dig up dirt and then she said to flav at elimination time when she so called apologized to t1 and t2 that she felt thing 1’s ex was trying to attack her. She’s definetly the type who would try push a man over to the extreme when they have a disagreement. She would most likely say he hurted her and do some ^(#( like on that movie Thin Line Between Love and Hate. She isn’t a good woman to any man cause she defineltly isn’t a good backbone. before Myamee got kick off she knew that something fishy was going on with Rayna calling the house and threathing Flav as well as the rest of the girls. If she really had Flavs back she would have told him about that phone call. Something is definetly not right about her and Flav needs to get rid of her before she try something. Seezings is sneaky and she’s the worst liar a man could ever come across. I hope Flav does not pick her because she needs help. And Flav needs to dig up some dirt on her ex cause it’s funny how she didn’t wanna do that challenge with her ex. She has a lot of tricks up her sleeve and she is the worst type of woman any man could come across
