50 Cent’s Latest Feud: Alicia Keys?
A little while ago, Alicia Keys told Blender magazine that she thought gangsta rap was a tool used by the government: “Gangsta rap was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other,” the singer said. After those remarks enraged many, Keys back-pedaled, saying she was misrepresented in the article, but that’s not stopping 50 Cent from taking aim at Keys.
“That statement changes my perception of Alicia Keys totally,” the rapper is now saying. “But the magazine is standing behind it, which means they probably have a tape of her in conversation saying it. It’s just not really a bright comment anyway.” And in a tactic not employed since 50 left the playground, he added: “If she don’t like that, (then) I don’t like that classical music sh*t she be doing.” So there.

My boy Juan over at Highbrid Nation put me onto 50 Cent’s new beef with Alicia Keys. If you ask me he’s taking something very personally that was not directed at him at all. She even made an effort to clean it up and say she was talking the media in her comments. At this point I’m surprised 50 has any friends left because he’s always looking for a fight. Didn’t win that one with Kanye though

50 pleeeeeeeeeeeze, I don’t really feel that there was anything wrong with what she said. People have all types of comments regarding rap and I just feel that she stated her opinion on it. She never said all rap. There are more important things going on in the world for people especially celebrities to be kickin’ up drama for no reason.

I feel that Alicia kEys is amzing. The fact that 50 Cent took the comment literally is selfish on his part because he need to be a bigger man and ignore the comment. 50 cent should ignore the comment becuase if he like gansta rap then he likes gantsta rap, if alicia does not like gansta rap then so be it not everyone is going to like gansta rap. And how do he know that the comment was meant exactly towards him? Sometimes the press quote things wrong just to get contraversy started. And Alicia Keys music is very classical and on point. I love her and respect her style in music because she is different and beautiful.
