West Drops Diva Performance, Crowd Chants “Kanye Sucks!”
It’s not like Kanye’s trying to make new friends, but you’d think he’d at least go after a few new fans. But after his craptastic performance at Bonnaroo, all he got was a crowd of haters. The rap-diva had been scheduled to perform at 2:45 AM on Sunday, but didn’t take the stage for almost two hours, thanks to his ridiculous stage set that apparently takes hours to set up. Hey, if Kanye wants a fake spaceship named Jane to talk to during his show, than that’s what he’ll get! According to comedian Aziz Ansari, West even complained to the inanimate object about his love life as part of the show, saying, “I been away too long. I ain’t had a woman in so long Jane. I just need some p*ssy.” Surely that kind of performer-spaceship interaction made the wait worth it, right fans?
Once on-stage, Kanye never addressed his delayed start, and later that day angry fans banded together for a “Kanye sucks!” chant, which probably would have been more effective during his actual concert. Oh well, they were probably tired (among other things).

yeah kanye does say that during the show but his performance is amazing, especially when he sings his song he wrote for his mom before she died. that sucks that everyone had to wait but i’m sure those who did wait forgot about it once he started performing.

Kanye is an arrogant little bitch. He is a boring performer. I’m glad someone hit the screen with a glowstick and fucked his shit up! That was the best part of the show! Fuck Kanye! I hope that he had to pay for that shit! All in all…. Talib Kweli is amazing and Kanye is no comparison! Boo Kanye! You suck major ass!

i was there…he didnt even say thank you to his fans for waiting that long to see him….the show sucked! i expected to be of much more taste…it was just kanye on a slanted stage with a rocket ship thing and a sun rise in the back. i will never pay to see him again or support him in any way. he’s an arrogant prick!!!! kanye sucks!

Kayne does suck! He had no business even being at that festival. He doesn’t deserve to breathe one breath of Bonnaroo air. I had zero intentions of seeing him at all, but he mangaged to have them cut the Phil Lesh and Friends late night set short because of his gay ass show. I was pissed then and I’m still pissed now. If if wasn’t for people like Phil, festivals like bonnaroo would never even happen. Allowing a living legend like Phil Lesh to be cut short just shows what this world has come to. F Kanye, F Superfly, and F all you douchebags who came to bonnaroo to see him anyway. Stay the F home next year!

kanye was just one big dissapointment after another. his show didnt start until 430 am. but since it was supposed to start at 245am…around 215-230am..all of the other bands that were currently performing on other stages and tents, such as lupe fiasco, their performances got cut short because kanye didnt want anyone else playing during the same time he was. but he didnt even play til 430am..so he ruined a good time for the fans and the other performers who could have still been playing.
the performance literally ended 20-30 mins earlier than it was supposed to with kanye crawling behind a rock that was part of the set onstage. HE CRAWLED BEHIND A ROCK. and that was the end. ive never seen sadder faces as thousands upon thousands of ppl walked back to there tents at 530am.

Kanye Sucks was also spraypainted all over the graffitti wall, several artists talked about it on stage Sunday.
Overheard security gossip outside tent…. the PrimaKannaDonna, originally scheduled for Which Stage at 8:15, demanded to be moved to the mainstage & only opening was after Pearl Jam at 2:15, folks were throwing water bottles at stage, more than half the 40,000 or so that were there left, and get this…..
Kanye’s road manager got in a fistfight with security!! Probably marks the first fistfight ever in Bonnaroo history!!
Guess the Roosters will stick to the class acts like the Roots, DJ Logic and Talib Kweli, folks who appreciate the musicianship of the event.
