Ice-T knows a lot of curse words, ya’ll. The veteran of the rap scene unleashed a verbal beat-down on Souljay Boy while chatting on DJ Cisco’s Urban Legend mixtape, blaming the young artist for ruining hip-hop with his Superman dancin’. His quote is below, and it’s totally NSFYourEyes. Ouch!
“F*ck Soulja Boy! Eat a dick! This n*gga single handedly killed Hip Hop. That sh*t is such garbage man. We came all the way from Rakim, we came all the way from Das EFX, we came all the way from motherf*ckers flowing like Big Daddy Kane and Ice Cube, and you come with that Superman sh*t? I agree with Ice T 100%…. So what does soulja boy rap about??? Dumb mess like Booty Meat, Crank Dat, and Soulja Girl on some R&B twist… And what makes it even worse is when he tries to act like he a true thug with songs like shoot out and pistol play… Now do real thugs really dance and hop around like what i see in his videos?? If he is keeping it true to himself and his gay lookin style or what eva… Then why would he feel the need to put on this fake gangsta image??? Hmmm… Seems like he being phony to me… Maybe thats the reason why Ice T dissed him so hard… Soulja boy has been dissed by some of the biggest icons and legends in hip hop… Because he is f***ing up Hip Hop’s legacy… And look at all the disses he gets on U Tube… I dont respect him or his music… just my right to my opinion.. Wow what old a** mature rapper from the 80s diss someone that’s on today? This man who has not too long about to hit the dirt soon trys to go so hard on a teen. I guess what I find dissapointing about the whole situation is that Soulja boy had and still has a huge opportunity and he is wasting it. Like, he picks up a mic and has about million kids listening to him and getting influenced by him, and all this n*gga says is “yah %)(!_+!@_`&&&+((% yah” and other bullsh*t like that. Im sayin, what message are u sending to your listeners? The mic was invented to communicate my n*gga wat the f**k is u doin? Take ur time in the studio and make some meaningful music…
Also would someone like to explain how this ignant n*gga got a record deal?? How does his sh*t sell? Real talk, this dude literally picked up the mic and sh*t on it, recorded that garbage, put it on the shelves, and he got a f**kin’ grammy! What is the world comin to…? Real rappers wit talent cant get anywhere cause u got rappers (if u wanna call them that) like soulja boy with no kinda talent at all gettin all the radio time and sh*t like that. (Had to get that off my chest cause I was mad. A grammy!!? Come on people…)
At some point we as a people have to take responsibility as well. He put out garbage and we put up with it so whose fault is it? There needs to be a public outcry to put quality hip hop bac on tv and on the airwaves…

@ Babylon X, Hip hop isn’t dead because Soulja Boy isn’t making the music of the originators. OkutKast didn’t make the music of the originators and neither did the Beastie Boys. Lupe Fiaso is not a hip hop originator either but he isn’t contributing to the Death of Hip Hop. Bow Wow isn’t that much older thw Soulja Boy either and he isn’t contributing to the death of hip hop.
Hip Hop is dead because so many people, young or otherwise are apparently unwilling to draw a line and make a disctiction between what is and is basically just garbage.
I could slap a ham sandwich together and stick it ona turntable but that won’t be hip hop. I could come up with a beat and have my dog yap into a mic while I dance around a gas station, wearing a pound puppy suit but that wouldn’t be hip hop. I can make that distinction.
At some point rappers will have to police themselves because the beat hungry, greedy *()^@$&%^(++@!~ public will not do it.
Ice T has to say it because he is one of the few folks in hip hop who can say it who have actually done something. We should give Ice T a parade for trying to save an institution because Soulja Boy is some bullsh!t.

Any young cat dont got the history to compare today’s hiphop to.
