A New Rock of Love: It’s On…With Bret!
We can officially announce that Bret and Ambre are over! And what’s more, there’s a new installment of Rock of Love on the way! This time, Bret’s taking his show on the road…literally! Per the press release of Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels (coming in early 2009):
Rock star Bret Michaels tried twice to find love by filling a mansion with gorgeous women and having them compete for his heart. But after the final pass was handed out and the cameras stopped rolling, Bret’s picks didn’t work out. He and season two winner, Ambre Lake, really tried to make it work and although they still remain close friends, between his tour line-up and her work schedule there’s no time for a relationship.
“Bret has been very upfront and honest about how difficult maintaining a normal relationship may be for a touring rock star. He’s right, it’s absolutely an insane lifestyle and neither of us had the time to make it work,†stated Lake.
Now Bret is taking another stab at finding his perfect match in the ultimate rock and roller’s test…life on the road! Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels is set to premiere in early 2009.
“Seasons one and two of Rock of Love shattered ratings records and VH1 is so happy to have Bret back for another outrageous season. This time we’ll reveal Bret in his most comfortable setting- the infamous rock star tour bus.†said Jeff Olde, VH1’s Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production.
“We are excited to hit the road for another season of Rock of Love,†commented Executive Producers Mark Cronin & Cris Abrego, “Nobody knows their way around a tour bus like Bret Michaels, and we are confident that the audience will enjoy the ride.â€
How will Bret find a woman to ‘rock his world’ when his world is always moving? VH1 is loading up a tour bus filled with beautiful babes and taking them on tour across the country. Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels takes contestants out of the mansion and on the road in true rock star style. This season will feature all-new ladies vying for Bret’s affection while traveling across America following Bret on a month-long tour. The contestants will face new challenges to see if they can handle the rock star life on the road.
This time as the bus pulls into each new city, the girls will engage in challenges specifically revolving around Bret’s life on the road. Whether it’s greeting aggressive groupies with a smile, enduring grueling schedules, dodging the advances of the warm-up band or even stepping in last-minute to fill in for delinquent roadies – these girls will be put to the test. This season, as the Rock of Love Bus heads into America’s heartland, the show will be taking the viewer to a whole new level with crazy, fun, over-the-top challenges- imagine Truck Stop Olympics or a dance contest on top of the St. Louis Arch or even a BBQ cook-off beneath the World’s Largest Thermometer. And also, back by popular demand…Mud Bowl 3. Americana at it’s finest!

you all showze is rely good,i miss all your good reality shows,like ray jay,rock of love,charm school is becoming verry fack and foney.please vh1 get it together,you keep giving all the losers on one reality show, a show of their own so i guess going on one reality,hoping to lose ,because if you lose you win,so the people who lose should be glad,cauze you all know the,ll be getting their own reality showz.

Bret I am not really a big fan….I didn’t even hear about u til season 3. I got some cds of poison and like ur songs. But what got me was something u said that sounds like me… U said u weren’t doing the love search anymore and that sounds like me… The games r to much ewith everyone….

I hoped that last season Bret found his Rock- and Soulmate in Ambre. Even I’m sometimes a bit shocked because of the “chosen ladies” for his personell rock adventure on screen … I can’t stop watching him checking,laughing and “loving” the ladies on his way to his love (sometimes speechless and sorry so funny .. by the way make sure that next time more ladies are humans …) even though my questions are always spinning around like why this platform - why this “stage” …? Who will say the truth and how should we know if this is the truth? Anyway … - again find myself relaxing on my sofa… and asking myself (If I would fulfill the requirments of the next Mrs. Rocklove ;o)) … would I ever do this …? Can’t wait to watch … in Germany (close to Cologne).. ! Do not misunderstand - I do wish Bret Michaels his true, honest Love but at least … I do enjoy this “reality show” … ! Isn’t it sick?! Pleeeeeeeeeeeease!!!! Bring back the Surreal Life and stop showing Daisy of love and New York shows. The Surreal Life was the best show you ever had on. More like an old school big brother. I love seeing those people again. I really really miss it.

Come on Bret! You know you are not going to fing that right one parading around the country making a damned circus show. You are really doing this for all of the “old school” fans that love you, and of course the money aint so bad either. But maybey you are like that song “lookin for love in all the wrong places,” kinda guy and you need to learn some new foreign language and expand you horizons… You sure seem to like em’ all. Or maybey you should pick “the One” with a blindfold on.. so that you are not judging the book so much by the cover and more for the content it contains. But Good Luck with whatever you choose!

Bret good luck on that one.Your not staybillity type.Your a big player.With how much you Love your women thats impossible to be in a relationship.I doubt you’ll ever tie that not.You’ll get old and rinkly with No reason but music.Well good luck on the next broken heart that ;you smoosh into the cement if it’s for real any ways.And I can be as Mean as I want to be with out ;having to worry about women screaming in my face at least I know how to please my husband where he stays with me and loves me until the end of time,he is there for the kids and always doing father activities with them.Why don’t you have a life other than fan and music.Your kids will always be there for you when there is No one there and every one forgets about your music or it getting out of style.Please grow up.Im 24 and I stay with my famillyy not go on the road or due hoes in general.Tell the contractors to @~_*%*~*^`_)&^`! off and takes time with your familly before time flys in your face and its to late to turn back time.As a friend I hope you grow up and take that time to remember your child hood life.Hopefully your parents raised you the right way and stayed together for the right reasons abroken home sucks even a broken familly has miserable days.

Hola Bret. Soy latina, Venezolana, no hablo ingles. Veo tu programa. Al principio no me gustaba, pero luego me di cuenta que estas dando las pautas y consejos necesarios para lograr lo que tanto anhelamos los seres humanos, el amor verdadero. La verdad es que en un principio el programa me caÃa mal, pero un dÃa tenia una macro cadena de Chávez y como no habÃa alternativa mas llamativa vi un episodio de tu segunda temporada, Me engancho porque al igual que tu padezco de una enfermedad crónica limitativa, me identifique contigo y te dà toda la razón. “Hay que seleccionar la pareja previendo que esta pueda acompañarnos en la buenas, las malas y las peores”. Luego no compartÃa contigo estos de que se tenÃan que adaptar a tu estilo de vida, que debÃan de amoldarse a ti; pero sabes que?, yo también tengo una vida singular. Mi profesión de Abogado Contencioso Administrativo (demandas contra el Estado), mi hobby de dar clases y mi participación en la polÃtica nacional, me hacen aunque yo no lo haya percibido, una persona fuera de lo común. Por supuesto que mi pareja debe sopesar y vivir con esto, gustarle que yo sea asÃ. Pero lo más importante que me has enseñado, es que a pesar de su sentimentalidad y sensibilidad, has debido de seleccionar en forma estricta a aquellas que tengas condiciones objetivas que garanticen el éxito de esa relación, todo con el objeto de proteger tu bien más preciado tu corazón.
