If brevity is the soul of wit, Megan must be the wittiest person we’ve ever interviewed on this blog. (They don’t call her an evil genius for nothing!) Below is a rapid-fire interview, in which Megan kept me on my toes by answering questions with as few words as possible. Maybe she’s question-dodging, but the overwhelming feeling I took away from this interview (which was conducted in-person, by the way) wasn’t that she was particularly elusive — it’s more that she doesn’t take herself seriously enough to go on and on about things like her s***-talking, her attraction to Whiteboy, the nature of her relationship with Brandi and her retarded dog. To wit, almost all of these answers were punctuated with a laugh.
From her time on the show, it’s clear that Megan’s well-versed in the art of the sound bite. Below, she just practices her craft.
When you were Paymaster, what the hell was going on? What had you so twisted at elimination?
(Laughs) There was a lot of drinking going on!
Just drinking? It seemed like a haze.
Haha. Maybe something else. I was too drunk to remember.
When it came time for the jury and you quit, it read like you can dish out but you can’t take it.
That’s not true at all. There’s nothing to take!
You weren’t the least bit intimidated that you were going to have to answer to the people that you admitted to having a hand in eliminating?
I was not answering to those people. I turned it around on them.
Yeah, but that was the setup. Was this just a power thing?
Yes.
You always have to be in control?
No (laughs).
I thought it was weird that you said you didn’t come to win, you just came to play the game.
I never thought I was going to win. I just thought the show would be fun and it was.
It’s kind of crazy that you attacked appearing on a reality show as a sport.
I know!
At the Rock of Love 2 reunion, I accused you of talking s***, but you told me that you were just honest. How do you distinguish between s*** talking and honesty?
I think that I can say whatever I want to say! (Laughs) I don’t have to defend myself.
Right, but if you talk s***, why not own it?
But I don’t talk s***.
What’s the difference?
It’s not hurtful. It’s not meant to be hurtful. It’s not meant like, I’m trying to talk s*** to you. I’m just being accurate.
Accurate in your opinion.
Pointing out the pure facts, that’s it.
But it’s subjective, right?

What did you think of Whiteboy’s “hard candy” interview?
(Laughs) I think that it was f***ed up.
Why? Was it untrue?
Of course.
When you revealed your attraction to him, was that a result of him having so much power in the house, or were you legitimately attracted to him physically?
You know…I’m not sure. (Laughs) I don’t know what exactly that was. It’s complicated. I don’t understand it myself. (Laughs)
Very rarely on this show were you not in control. You were, to put it in Celebreality terms, the master manipulator.

Did you think you were the star of the show?
I am the star.
How was that? I never watched Beauty and the Geek, but I know that you won, so you were obviously a big part of that show. But was being the star of I Love Money a different experience for you?
Yeah. With Beauty and the Geek, they wanted to bring out the good in you. This show was the opposite. It brought out the worst in you.
Any thoughts on flirting with 12 Pack?
I flirted with everybody. Everybody flirted with everybody.
You didn’t flirt with Rodeo.
No. But I’m sure she would want me to.
What about Brandi? Would you have sex with her?
No! I don’t have sex with girls.
You’re awfully close. If you had to have sex with a girl, would you pick Brandi?
No! (Laughs hysterically.) I could never, under any circumstances. We share a bed. But it’s a full-size bed.
I was drunk!
Is that your excuse for everything?
Well, it is a big part of things.
At one point you cried and you said, “I’m just misunderstood.” Can you elaborate on that? I thought your motives were very clear.
I didn’t realize them.
That brings up a good point: it seems so often like you’re in control, it seems like you’re running things. When you went back and watched the show, were you surprised at just how much of an H.B.I.C. that you were?
I didn’t realize that no one else was doing anything but sitting around. No one suspected anything about the secret alliance.
12 Pack said you weaseled your way into the Top 3. Do you agree?
Weaseled? I don’t like that word. But nobody blamed anyone for using their muscles during challenges. Why are they blaming me for being smarter than them? They’re just sore losers.
Was it gross to massage Mr. Boston, and to a lesser extent, the Entertainer?
No.
Did you enjoy it?
No, I didn’t enjoy it, but I wasn’t doing it for fun. It had a purpose and it worked.
What do you have to say to people who look down on you for using your sexuality as a tool for getting what you want?
I would say that jealousy is a disease.

I never read it. What’d it say?
It intimated that you hooked up with someone powerful behind the scenes and that’s why you’re on so many of these shows. I wonder if you have a statement on that.
It’s absolutely, completely untrue.
When you’re on the show, are you out to make good TV?
No. I’m not like Mr. Boston, who does his little act for the TV. I don’t think about that at all.
Having everyone talk to Lily, that wasn’t for our enjoyment?
It was just natural.
Rodeo told me that you dropped Lily on the head and that’s why she’s retarded. Is that true?
That is not true. It may have added, but… (laughs). She jumped out of my arms when she was a baby and she hit her head. It was an accident. My mom told me that I jumped out of her arms when I was a baby, too.

Megan isn’t dumb – did you watch the show? She got herself very far in the game. It’s called playing the GAME – and anything goes. I like Megan. I didn’t like this interview though – sounds like whoever is asking the questions is already biased against her.
Megan is amazing, and WOW is just jealous. And it seems as if the interviewer is a little bitter, for reasons we may not know. But Megan is a mastermind, beautiful girl, and I for one absolutely love her.

I hated Megan in the beginning. The more I watched the more I loved her!! She is a very smart girl and she has a way of getting people to do what she wants!!! She ROCKS!! I was really pulling for her to win but the final 3 were my favorite! I wonder if Brandi C. was on the jury would she have quit?? Anyways… I think the way she quit was classy and totally fitting for her and I know we will see more of Miss Megan!

Jessica Simpson, take notes. Megan has the game DOWN! She plays dumb in a way that makes her likable and ammusing. She cracks me up, she doesn’t take herself seriously, she doesn’t care about what people think of her. She’s smart enough to know what she’s saying/doing and how it will be recieved, which is a hell of a lot more than most of the dumb hollywood “starlets” who try to play the “unintentionally funny ditz”. TC- You wouldn’t have had to be a fly on the wall if that happened because I’m pretty sure they would have been filming it…you know, for the show? Secondly, for someone whose doesn’t like Megan, you sure waste a lot of energy bashing on her (usually takes passion in some form or another ie. jealousy, to waste that much energy). Oh, and WERE you a fly on the wall when Megan and Whiteboy supposedly had sex? Or when she “slept†with the producer? How do you have such insider information? I love Megan. Always have. She probably had more to say and, was less strategic before everybody hurt her with all of thier jealousy and hate. If she had more to say you would just pick it apart anyway and she probably knows that but, when she says less you have a problem with that too. Hey this show was ok…great…megan..um..you are a woman who has to much intercourse with different guys that have diseases..but moving on in the ILM season 2 bring back Onix Ace Tweed Wood and Bonez from season 1 dont like season 2 of I love new york so the rest should be women from the other shows like Sumthin should be on the next season..lol..
