The Celebreality Interview – Whiteboy

Below, I Love Money‘s first runner up and owner of an old throw-up tongue talks his status as public enemy No. 1, the supposed “love triangle” that also involved Real and Hoopz, the “recreational habits” that helped cost him the game and hard candy.

You didn’t seem disappointed when you lost.

I always said if there’s anyone I wanted to see with that money other than myself, it was Hoopz. So it was cool. I’m not a sore loser or anything of that nature.

What was the biggest challenge of the show?

Living in the house and surviving the alliances and the back-stabbing. That’s a tough thing to do, to go in and join forces with complete strangers.

You didn’t get too dramatic, though. Was it just that everyone was afraid of you?

I don’t think that people were afraid of me. It’s a matter of knowing what you have to do and really sticking to that. I kept my mind on the game and stayed focused at all times. I didn’t let anything take my eye off the prize.

But you were considered the biggest threat from the beginning.

It seems that if some people have a public enemy or number one target, the others start to realize that there’s gotta be a reason for that. Why not? I seemed like a strong competitor. And if everyone’s gunning for me, I have to be the biggest threat. I was considered public enemy No. 1, so everyone else’s game plan was to eliminate me. It wasn’t, “Let’s win $250,000,” it was, “Let’s get rid of Whiteboy!” Even when the just started! I was fighting for my life the whole time. Ultimately, no one knew me, but this reputation I had perpetuated into a phenomenon so that the whole house was against me.

But you loved that, right?

Of course. Because ultimately, I chose my own destiny. I created this.

When Real sat you and Hoopz down to talk about the “love triangle” situation, there was an awkward silence. Was there something going on between you and Hoopz?

Naw. We’re just good friends. Nothing romantic at all. We were roommates. I was quiet because knowing that he just proposed to this woman…I was shocked. It made me wonder if I led anyone to believe that there was a thing. Why me? It kinda showed me a sign of insecurity on Real’s part. Like, why do you have to interrogate me to assure your insecurity. I wasn’t silent in guilt.

But you were cuddling at some point.

Yeah.

That was just a friendly cuddle?

Next question.

What about Megan? It seemed like you and Megan were warming up to each other but then one episode, that was just done.

Megan was really cool. I love Megan. Without her, I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I did. There were a couple times where she came to the upstairs bedroom, my bedroom, and we were cuddly. We played Truth or Dare one night, kissed a couple times, but nothing sexual or romantically involved, as well.

Didn’t you say in a recent interview that you gave her “the hard candy?”

Uh, yeah.

So what does that mean? Are you lying to me?

I mighta said a few things that I shouldn’t have said. Megan’s a cool woman. I got nothing but respect for her. In that same interview, I called her a bitch. But I spoke to her, I apologized for that. Ultimately, there’s a reason why you shouldn’t be drinking when you do this stuff. I was a little tipsy, a little too comfortable in my environment. I had a friend interviewing me. So, uh, whether she got the hard candy or not, I’m not discussing, but I do feel bad for calling her a bitch.

You made out pretty well, too. She didn’t talk to much s*** on you.

Yeah, but really, like the Entertainer says, “Yo, I feel like by you calling me a bitch, you’re talking s***.” But there’s certain rules. There’s ways you gotta play this game. I didn’t really give anyone the opportunity to talk s*** about me because I kept it real. I kept it 100. You gotta give everyone the opportunity to say, “I trust you. You never done me wrong. You’re a man of your word. You’re honest.”

When it came down to you eliminating Real, it was because you felt betrayed by him?

Not necessarily. I felt a little betrayal.

What’s it like between you and Real now?

I’ve seen Real since the show. There’s no tension or beef or anything of that nature. It’s all cool. It’s all laid-back.

How was it that you didn’t remember the order of eliminated contestants on the show you were on? I know you talked about “recreational habits,” but was there anything else?

The recreational habits didn’t help. Time was ticking. Adrenalin was rushing. Fatigue was setting in. I didn’t eat properly that day. It is what it is. But I’m not a sore loser. I’m proud of Hoopz. I know that the last episode looks like I might have thrown it. Like you said, “How could you forget?” People might think that I let her win. But I didn’t.

Did you have a good time ultimately?

I had a blast. My favorite show yet. This show was more real to me than I Love New York. It’s the official show. I didn’t have to worry about acting a certain way. It has nothing to do with age, race, color, sex. I can relate to $250,000 much more than I can relate to finding love with New York.
