She was a Chance Girl. She was a Real Girl. And then, she was booted. Below, Promo tells her side of the story and it isn’t cheery. “I didn’t really appreciate being a rag doll to the guys,” she tells us…
How was this experience for you?
It was hard, living in the house with all the girls. They’re kind of your enemy, but it’s human nature to confide in people and make friends, especially when you don’t have contact with the outer world. It was really weird. Me and Bubbles said we felt like we were in the Twilight Zone.
I think Bubbles probably lives in the Twilight Zone.
I was just watching this extra of me and her talking about milkshakes. What we would do, me and a few of the chilled-out girls like Corn Fed and Bubbles, is if we were talking about something important, cameras would fly in. We had this plan to start talking about something really stupid if the cameras came in. So then they’d leave.
Speaking of the non-chilled-out girls, Kiki called you out for flip-flopping. You seemed genuinely surprised when you were chosen as Chance’s girl. What was your understanding of the show’s set-up going into it? Were you unaware that you could end up with either of the guys?
When we got there, half the girls didn’t even know Real was going to be there. They thought it was just going to be Chance’s show. Looking back at the episode, many of the girls were all over both guys or the opposite guy that they ended up with. They like to brag that they’re loyal, but they’re all fake. They didn’t know what they wanted, except for Stalker. I think I was just totally genuine. I wanted to take time to sit down with both of them. I had no idea that we’d end up being chosen by one of the guys and then we’d have to remain on their side. I thought they’d pick together. I was shocked that Chance gave me the chain, because I only spent a long time with Real that night. He was the one I was interested in getting to know. He was so nice. Later that night, I was at the bar and Chance came over to me saying, “Why don’t you talk to me? You’re not into me?” He was approaching me, so I didn’t take the time to try to approach him. When he picked me, I told him I was there for Real. And he goes, “Well, let me show you my sweet side. I have a side to me that’s just like my brother.” So that’s why I accepted the chain.
Wasn’t it weird how much Real pursued you during the second episode, but then let you go during the third?
It pissed me off. They were just playing games. When I was on Chance’s side, Real wanted me. When I was on Real’s side, Real didn’t want me. When I was on Chance’s side, Real was approaching me like no other. Everything I did, there’s Real! He just pops up. He was so freaking persistent. I tried to stay loyal to Chance.
The major reason Real gave for letting you go was your lack of effort in getting to know him. Was that valid in your opinion?
There wasn’t really time after the wrestling match and that night was chaotic anyway. Even if I wanted to go up there that night…you see So Hood running around and Chance slamming the door on her. It was almost impossible to have alone-time. And then the next day was their date. There was always another girl. There were too many damn frickin’ girls.
When Milf was talking to Real, she said that you pursued him because it was easier than pursuing Chance.
Yeah, where’d she get that? I never told her that! And she sounded so confident, too, like she was repeating my words. She’s nuts, man. She doesn’t know s***. Bottom line: I was her biggest competition and first chance she had, she wanted to get me out of there. I’m like a 50-year-younger version of Milf. She just wishes she was 50 years younger and she looked like me.
Any truth to the suggestion that you appeared on the show for promotional purposes?
You know, my promotional stuff is solely to make money. It’s my own business and I work at my leisure. I love the freedom of it. I don’t think being on the show is going to further that. It wasn’t my purpose. Nothing’s even changed as far as my work goes, since the show.
Was there any relief that came from being eliminated?
Kind of. The girls were relentless, and I didn’t really appreciate being a rag doll to the guys. It was messed up to me that Real wanted me more when I had a “C” around my neck.

I think that the concept of the show was kind of messed up… if you watch all of the banter between real and chance, she’s right… they only want what the other one has and in that sort of situation with all of the cattiness of the other girls thrown in, there’s no way a cute girl like Promo even stood a chance. I think Promo was one of the cutest girls there and you can see how much she was hated on for it, she should be commended for being honest and saying that she was having doubts instead of being bashed for it

Man that was the smartest thing either of them could have done! Promo was a dummmmm hoe who needed to go and as far as her being the best looking female there, she sounds stupid to even let that come out of her mouth! She is a dum blond with a bad tan and i’m glad they gave her the boot!

Promo was the prettiest girl on the show! It’s true!
Real looks okay, but Chance looks like a “gangsta”-version of Urkel. He needs to get those buck-teeth fixed. And, those donkey ears pinned down!

Promo, was there primarily just for that”Promoting” herself. By no means was she the hottest chick in the house. It’s good to see her fake !%~(~!&_#^!)`~! Barbie doll, wannabe self gone. If I was promo and promoting myself for TV. I would choose both guys also. That way you can flip-flop between them to stay on the show as long as possible. But you were careless by playing the stallionaires and were shown the door. Don’t worry promo, VH1 will come out with another reality show you can show off on.

I agree with K.H. not only r u beautiful, but u weren’t just another crazy slut. If u really wanted to promote urself u would of been all over those guys, but I truly believe u were there looking 4 love, and Real’s stupid for not seeing that. All those other girls r so fake (except 4 a few like corn fed), there is no way there all in love with people they just met. Real and Chance r just looking for some easy ~`&#^~_!@_(&^^% and its just sad that girls who wanted to take their time and get to know them, and really find out if they can find love got sucked into their trap.

Promo was pretty much the only reason I watched the show anyway. I thought she was the most attractive (personality and looks) woman there. She just seemed so homely and nice but confident at the same time, and I feel she was more “REAL” than anyone else on the show period.

Kiki is just regurgitating everything from previous Flavorettes down to the praying to God for control not to beat up this girl… sounds familiar? (Saaphyri moment). She is the worst one to watch due to her lack of originality… “I’m not here to make friends” (another quote) YAWN!
K.O. needs to fix the Latina in distress voice when she is trying to get sympathy… That is not pleasant to the ear, Real is right about that. When she is stable, she has a good voice. Promo is not as pretty as she think she is, though it’s okay to love yourself!

Promo had class. She proved herself by not accepting the chain offered by Chance. In my opinion it’s Real’s loss. If he had half a brain he would beg her to come back!

What’s up Promo. I gotta give it to you - in my opinion you were one of the realist woman there. I think Real messed up when he didn’t pick you from the get-go! It kinda seemed like he only wanted you after his brother picked you and then you told him you were there for him. I don’t mean no harm by that at all I’m just saying he was silly for doing that to you and then for them to make fun of you for flip-flopping was just mean!!! It was wrong how they did that to you and they’re brothers so it made it worse. But you just keep it real girl, I will always be on your side.

Men are dense! Promo and Sexy legs were done wrong. Sexy legs was there for Real and was hesitant when Chance called her and she looked at Real with tears in her eyes. She decided to take Chances chain in the hopes of making her way to Real. Big Mistake was not telling him the truth when he came into her room to talk to her. But all the other girls took advantage and said she was flip flopping. Sexy Legs? Chance did her wrong lying to his brother about her, she let him know her interest was in Real and Chance let jealousy rule him.

Now come on Promo (you couldn’t see what they were doing)? No one is to blame but you…even if they were playing games, your card was pulled. YOU should’ve made a decision from the get go (THE BEGINNING) as far as who you wanted to pursue whether they both were coming at you or not…AND if you weren’t sure and felt like whoever has YOUR best interest at heart, you would be down with, you seem to lack the job or interest in finding out. And if the producers or editors left some things out that showed this of you…I apologize. AND last but not least, whomever you really wanted to be with, you should’ve made clear to the other and had it understood. (MILF DID IT), so I don’t blame them for the decision they both made towards you… Hell, you had me confused. I didn’t know who you wanted (even with your solo interviews) clipped in during the episodes.

Hey Promo I was really sad to see you go. I hate the guys for doing that. You and Sexy Legs were so legit; men are so dumb when it comes down to real girls. But what can you expect from guys that went out with New York. “Stupid Is Stupid Does”. To tell you the truth I stop watching the show when they let you go. What’s the point? They will probably end up fighting for MILF or BUBBLES. I wish you the best and I hope VH1 gives you; you’re own show. You will be so much better to watch then those two donkeys Men/Boys Whatever!!! I was sorry that you were eliminated. You did bring class to this silly show. Nothing left now but a bunch of loud mouth biddies and the old dried up cow called Milf, what a silly woman.
I was hopping Real would see how real of a person you came across in the little time you had on the show. I seen Real on I love Money and Miss New York and thought he was a stand up kind of guy, example - like he was with Hoops.
As far as the shows went, I know that there has to be some drama to make people watch the show but I had a different idea of Real, Chance was the player but I took Real to be real. I don’t think he’s really looking for love anyway, he’s easy duped by others on the show. Look at what happen to Sexy Legs!
