The Celebreality Interview - Meatball

Poor Meatball! Not only was she nicknamed, well, Meatball, but she still isn’t over Chance! Below, this week’s Real Chance of Love boot-ee talks about her time in the house, racial tension on the show and how she plans to heal from this heartbreaking experience.

How was your time on the show?

It was great. I don’t know. It was crazy. I’ve never had to fight for a guy ever. I’m just me and it was just weird. Some of the other girls used their bodies, but I didn’t. I guess I’m just trying to put a good image out there for women. We don’t all have to be whores and sluts to make it on TV. But I guess that’s what the fans like.

Was that your downfall?

I think so. It’s so hard. You’re in a house full of girls and you’re trying to ask permission to see him. I had so much alone time with Chance that they didn’t show. Why do you think I was still there? I was doing something right.

Do you feel like you had a bond with Chance?

I thought I did. But then half of the s*** I heard is bulls***. He loved my meatballs, OK? He said they needed more flavor, but he didn’t tell me they gave him indigestion or anything like that.

How did it feel to be called Meatball?

I was tipsy when I got my nickname, so I didn’t know what the f*** was going on. But then I was like, “Aw, whatever. I’ll take it.” It’s a nickname, it’s no big deal. That’s not who I am. I’m not a meatball. And people who say I look like a meatball need to shut the f*** up. ‘Cause seriously? How do you look like a meatball?

Do you have any resentment for Milf after she busted in on your alone-time with Chance?

I wasn’t mad. She came in in her little underwear and I was like, “Oh my god, seriously?” But I like Milf, don’t get me wrong. She was close to me in the house. I was one of the girls that got along with her. But you know how it is when you’re trying to bond with someone, and the fact that Chance has ADHD or whatever didn’t help. I even dropped my pants and told him he could slap my ass, too. I’m not that weak.

Yeah, Real said that you were too weak.

I talked to Real after the show, and he tried to cover everything. He’s the one who put this s*** in Chance’s head. I was sitting there and he was like, “I know you’re here for my brother.” He was just trying to get s*** out of me and that’s why I ended up almost hyperventilating during my one-on-one with him. I’m too weak, I guess, because they want gold-digging bitches who are going to use them for their fame. Whatever.

What about Cali? You got into it with her at dinner. Did you really think she was an industry chick?

The way she came off? Yes. But now that I know a little more about her, no. She’s down to earth. But when you’re in the house and everyone’s talking about their music videos and this and that, we’ve seen it in the past: usually when people say something, it’s true.

So you don’t have any interest in the entertainment industry yourself?

I never even thought about it before. Even now, I’m just like, “Uh, what do I do with myself? Where do I start?” I didn’t go on that show for that, though.

What motivated you to go on, then?

Just to find love. I didn’t even know who the guy was. I’ve always gotten my heart broken. At the end of the audition, they told me it was Chance, and he’s the type of guy I go for. All of my exes are like him.

Did you go in conscious of the fact that reality TV doesn’t have a great track record for finding love?

I thought I could be the one that could make him fall in love for real this time.

What was your take on racial tension in the house?

I felt like the girls were always trying to get on Cornfed. They were trying to make her look racist, but she’s not. Even during our lunch with Real, Bubbles and I were both asked, “Why would you date a black man if you never did?” I’m just like, why not?

Do you have any regrets?

Falling as hard for Chance as I did. He doesn’t deserve it.

You said you were heartbroken upon exiting.

It was horrible. One of the talent guys stayed with me after I was eliminated for hours. I couldn’t stop crying. I was up till 6 in the morning crying. I wasn’t expecting it, I guess. When you have strong feelings for someone, that kind of thing is hard to take. I didn’t get to explain myself or ask him why.

At what point did you feel like you were healed?

To tell you the truth, I’m still not healed. I still talk to Cornfed and bitch about it. I’m upset still. It’s really hard.

How will you find closure?

I don’t know. The reunion? But what’s gonna happen then? How do you bring it out?

Maybe another guy will help you get over it.

I’m not gonna use another guy to help myself heal. Time will help me get over it. But it’s all good. S*** happens.
