The Celebreality Interview - Gia
In an unprecedented move, the first girl to remove her clothes this season on Rock of Love was also among the first to be eliminated. Craziest. Season. Ever! Below, Gia talks about being too wild for one of the wildest shows on TV, her attraction to Farrah and, most importantly, the shot imagined ’round the world. Oh yeah, we go there in detail. Choice quote: “She was pushing my legs open and it was just downhill from there.”
This interview is not for the faint of heart. But then, what under VH1’s umbrella is?
How do you feel about your time on the show overall?
I love how much fun I had, but I wouldn’t have put it all out there in that one episode [if I knew I was going to be eliminated]. I would have spaced it out and let them see how wild and crazy I am over time. I know I would have stayed longer had I not been inebriated most of the time.
You think that’s what did you in?
Definitely. It was my first reality show ever and I was nervous. You’re in a different place with strange people and there’s nothing but alcohol everywhere. What do you do? You drink. I’m tiny and it made the wild, crazy Gia come out.
It’s really an accomplishment to be deemed too wild and crazy for Rock of Love.
I guess you could say that. Rock of Love is a pretty wild show. I’m still shocked that I got booted, though. I guess Bret was worried that things would get even crazier than that and that they wouldn’t be able to air a lot of what happened.
I can’t really talk to you without discussing the shot. It was innovative.
Yeah. That was kinda crazy. I got a lot of fans from it.
How do you look back on it? Do you think it’s funny? Are you embarrassed?
I think I had too much alcohol in me. I think it was more brought on by Nikki. There are certain things I don’t remember, but I remember her going, “We’re gonna do this…” It was just weird how it happened. I feel like I was kinda set up. She was pushing my legs open and it was just downhill from there.
I understand that this is a delicate matter, and I don’t want to ask you questions you’re uncomfortable with…

OK, so the shot was a test tube?
It was a Buttery Nipple test tube and Nikki attempted to put it in my…area. I think it more just looked like she put it inside there, but I can’t really remember. All I know is that it horrified a lot of people. I remember the tube and everything just kind of falling on her face. I don’t remember if it was inside, but it was definitely considered a p**** shot. That’s what everybody’s going with.
You were on your back?
Yeah. I was on the bar, and I leaned over and she kept pushing my legs. It happened so quick.
It cannot be understated that coming up with something that shocked Bret Michaels is an amazing feat.
It was pretty amazing, I guess. You gotta laugh about it, though. People do wild stuff when they drink and if people put you down for it, screw ‘em. I think also that you can forget that the cameras are there or that anybody else is there. You’re just kind of in your own world, doing your own thing.
Was your time on the show a reflection of an average night of partying, or was this extreme?
It was very extreme. I’m definitely a sexual person, but I wouldn’t normally get up on the bar in Waikiki and shove test tubes in me. Or, rather, have someone do that. It was a wild time and Nikki had a lot to do with it.
Do you have negative feelings about her?
I do. I feel like it wasn’t necessary. Also, and you can see this in some clips, there were times that she wanted to make out with me but I was much more interested in Farrah. Nikki kinda grossed me out. She doesn’t look really human. I had no interest in kissing her. Farrah was fine, though.
Were you guys more into each other than Bret?
Oh no. No, we were definitely interested in Bret. We were so excited to be with him and to have the opportunity to kick it with him like we did. We all felt the same thing and having us all together just made it more of a party. He definitely livened up the party. He would have not been avoided, you know what I mean?
You were pretty wild at the concert with Farrah, too.
After seeing it on TV, a lot of that came back to me. Farrah and I were going crazy and rocking out. We didn’t care what anyone else thought. We were in our own little Bret Michaels world. I don’t regret any of that.
What do you regret?
I regret not staying on longer. I regret drinking too much, and I regret letting certain people get, you know, too close to me, if you can understand what I’m saying.

Awww Gia, you were adorable on the show and left tooooo soon! Brett really messed up cuz you were the hottest on the show, definitely.
But be nice to Nikki, she obviously needs some help. I love her graffiti and I thinks shes a pretty decent DJ. I never wouldve thought shed be that &@$**@@~_@($+~_! ed up. I guess maybe her pills and all the alcohol didnt mix well. The end of the episode was so sad.

its a bummer that we finally get a Hawaii girl on a VH1 reality show and she gets eliminated in the FIRST episode for doing a twat shot. she’s not a hooker or a slut people, but I agree, not the classiest or best representation of Hawaii. Usually when someone from Hawaii makes it on National TV (game show, reality show, etc) they get alot of supported press. Nobody wanted to touch this with a ten foot pole before it started and now that its aired, hahaha. they are like Gia who? she’s not from here. Can you blame them?
In Hawaii she’s not really well known or popular or anything so its sad that THIS is how she made a name for herself. At least Nikki has a career and being scandalous only adds to her image (surprisingly). Gia will always be known for her test tube twat shots and after the initial 15 minutes of fame wears off , she will be completely over the (@^*%!_&(@*)“~@@` s inundating her with twat shot jokes.

Gia, HOW DARE you say that you come from Honolulu Hawaii. Hawaii women are descent, respectable, and have good morals, don’t degrade our island as well as our people on national television. I totally agree that this chick is degrading you Hawaiian people, it made me wander if you all were freaky over there in Hawaii after Gia said that she was from there. I thought that her dispicable acts on television was uncalled for. I have been to Hawaii on vacation with my family, and I love everything about it. We stayed away from Waikiki, the tourist trap, and stayed at the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort. I have to say that Hawaii has alot of HOT dudes on the north shores of Hawaii and their friendly to, my family and I was invited to a Bon fire on the beach with both guys and gals dancing the hula under the moonlit sky. Totally Awesome. I love Hawaii and it’s people. Can I move there?

Dude, what the hell? I’m not a prude. I actually enjoy these shows and I am definitely not offended by them. I’m not even offended by the utter abomination to society that is Gia.
I just believe that she is absolute filth. No woman with even a SPECK of class would allow that to happen. I just hope she doesn’t have any STD’s from Lady Tribe.

On Gia’s profile she lists her favorite places for dining and shopping in Honolulu like she’s from there,after watching the show that aired the next day I can see why natives from hawaii are appauled by her claims of considering herself as being from the islands. I wouldn’t take it offensively hawaiian people, just maybe she has love for your island and is touched by the beauty that surrounds her and would actually want it to be home for her, maybe someday Gia will find it to be the heaven on earth that will take away the disgrace and bring out the descency that everyone is blessed with in their soul. I do believe that people change for the good I’m living proof of that.
