On last week’s Confessions of a Teen Idol you saw Jeremy Jackson whooping it up while driving down the Sunset Strip with his other Idol buds. It was a return to the old days, when the young actor had a big chunk of star power thanks to his work as Hobie on Baywatch, the most-watched show television ever coughed up. These days the 31-year-old is trying to reclaim a bit of that visibility. He recently texted us from L.A. and the chat veered from his favorite time of day to have sex to how he feels after cutting off his trademark long hair.

Thanks for texting us, Jeremy. What’s your ringtone?
JJ: I like to keep it classic with a factory standard ringer. I’m a big BB (blackberry) fan, so a simple old-school phone “ring ring” will do for me.
But you keep up with music, though. Right?
JJ: Yes, of course. Love music. House, electro, rock, hip-hop.
People on the street ever call you Hobe?
JJ: Aaaaaw gaaaaaaawd YES. Maybe every day at least one person will drop the H Bomb. Haha.
What was the best episode of Baywatch?
JJ: Define best.
The one that makes you laff the most.
JJ: Hmmm…There were a TON of pretty dang cheesy episodes. One where Mitch had to tunnel under the sand to save a hostage…one where I had to wrestle a giant eel…one where we got stuck in an ice cave made of Styrofoam. So there was plenty to laugh at. But there a few touching and inspirational episodes in there, too. :)
Ever hang with any of your bwatch buds?
JJ: I do, actually…I just got back from Vegas with the Hoff…

Had to comment on how much heart you have. It’s great to see you open up to your “brothers” and really listen to what they have to say. And I loved how you let them know that you thought it was lame that they didnt want to audition for the commercial. Do you drink Erics shakes? He He
I love him on the show, good luck with everything Jeremy!
Hi. I just wanted to say that I saw Jermey Jackson on a movie, RING OF DARKNESS from 2006. It was not a low budget movie either. He was in the movie with some other good actors (like from soap opera’s, American idol’s Ryan, & that lady who has been in a TON of movies.) So Jermey has had work in recently. Actually I never watched baywatch, so when I saw him on this show, I remember him from the movie. So maybe exploring ALL opportunities for acting in something is the way to go here. By the way Jermey was GREAT in the movie & he does have talent.
I am happy to see that Jeremy is doing well and full of life.. I hope the best for him…I think he is very handsome and talented and if he puts his heart into his possiblities are endless…good luck Jeremy…we are behind you ever step of the way!!

I can’t believe I am watching this show, even more surprising, I can’t believe I am writing this, but I love this show! I especially like Jeremy Jackson. He seems real and honest about his life (which is a departure for “reality” tv) I have never seen him act, but I’d like to. I never watched Baywatch, but I am dying to see him in something soon!
I really like the show and it good to see there real people and have feelings. i hope they all do well. I used to watch bay watch and to see jeremy all grown up WOW.
Keep going, Jeremy! You have what it takes to be a star again, so don’t quit!
I never watched Baywatch, mainly due to working on those nights, so I didn’t know him when the show started. However what a doll baby, can’t believe he is
only 28, that’s my sons age, but he seems older. Anyway
he is doing a great job hanging in with the older guys, however with his past he’s been around the block and back, and will make acome back in something. Hey Start
out in Horror movies I watch all of them….lol
Hey Jeremy! Don’t know if you read these, but just wanted to say I’m hoping you stay on track and get back in the spotlight. Honestly, I never watched Baywatch and believe it or not, there are many of us who didn’t, so don’t think that’s always what people are going to #&`****~^~+!&($ ociate you with. You are still young and HOT! You have a whole new career ahead of you (and I can’t wait to see more of you!) MMMWWWAAA!!!
