A new installment in VH1′s Charm School franchise will be here faster than you can say “reform school dropouts” and this time, there’s a good chance that the headmistress might actually be able to say “expulsion” properly! Actress, talk-show vet and camp icon Ricki Lake will oversee bad girls trying to go good from Rock of Love Bus and Real Chance of Love in the upcoming series Charm School 3 with Ricki Lake. The third installment of 51 Minds and VH1’s Charm School is going to a whole new level and showing a side of the girls from Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels and Real Chance of Love you’ve never seen before…the compassionate side. That’s right, these once love struck reality beauties will now learn self-improvement through selfless acts. Legendary talk show host, documentary film producer and author Ricki Lake will try to tame the wild ladies by asking them to do…gasp…charity work, in Charm School 3 with Ricki Lake, premiering in Summer 2009.
Ricki will not be alone in her quest to help these ladies; she will be flanked with the support of the new school deans Alani “La La” Vazquez (TV Personality) and Stryker (Radio Host). This team’s mission for the new season is not only to teach the ladies about which fork to use, but also to stress the importance of using themselves for good.
VH1.com will offer an exclusive sneak peek of the premiere episode prior to the show’s on-air premiere and will house the show’s episodes for on-demand viewing. There will be additional online and mobile elements and content launched throughout the run of the series. Additional details will be announced closer to the premiere of the series this summer.

Ricki Lake has worked in the entertainment industry for over twenty years, starting her career as an actress in the original John Waters’ film Hairspray. Later, the actress transitioned into the world of daytime as host of the long running talk show, Ricki Lake. Recently, Ricki has taken the role of executive producer for the documentary The Business of Being Born, producer for CBS’ recent movie of the week Loving Leah and, now, executive producer of Charm School. She is also adding author to her resume with the upcoming book, Your Best Birth. Both her documentary and book examine the world of natural childbirth and birthing options, which is a community Ricki has become a vital part of. She is on the Board of the non-profit organization the New Space for Women’s Health in New York City. Ricki now brings her non-profit experience to VH1’s Charm School Gives Back.

I think that Farah had every right to call the real chance girls ghetto they way they get in peoples faces and act all hard core. What are they trying to prove? Who has the bigger mouth? I am mortified by all of the Chance at Love Girls. I am a biracial female and watching Bay Bay’s behavior and so hoods behavior made me ashamed to be part black. I have struggled for so long because I never wanted to identify with my black side and these two girls behavior is the reason why. I wanted to thank both of them for showing me and others a great example. I no respect for any of the chance of love girls and all them played the race card and yes bay bay is getto and I am saying this as a biracial female.

I would like to say that I am completely disgusted with Ricki Lake’s decision processes on Charm School. She is consistently racist and anxious to get rid of anyone who has the misfortune of having Black skin in her house. She has systematically eliminated one Black girl after another and has crossed a new line of ridiculously obvious racism with the elimination of BayBayBay who she pressured into giving up her spot when she had actually performed well on the show. I can’t stomach continuing to watch this blatant racism. If I had access I would order Ricki a KKK outfit for her to wear to the next elimination ceremony. I am sure her Klan brothers and sisters are very proud of her performance thus far. I feel really sorry for Risky as she is the last man standing. I agree with the wise person who wrote that Ricki should be fired and LaLa too for not having the guts to stand up for the sisters that are being crucified on this show.

Ricki, Not a good host of Charm School? I don’t know what they are talking about. I think that Ricki is being fair, and the ones that are gone, should be gone. I did like Bay Bay Bay though, and I’m upset that she is gone, but she left on her own, and I feel like Charm School really helped her. I think that Ricki is wonderful, and I love her. I really admire her, and she is one of my favorites. I love you Ricki.

Get rid of her she has no common sense. She gets rid of the people who are actually doing the work and improving by telling them they have come far. She is to stupid to no that the people who are not improving do not have the time to actually make any real changes. She has very poor judgment plus she makes herself look very prejudice and bias. She makes me ill with her dumb decisions every week and it really takes away from the show. Pleas get someone who won’t have the wool pulled over their eyes every week the next time. It is a weak show without a judge who actually has real judgment.

I think this is the most bias show ever of all of the series. I dont understand why the choices of elimination occur. It seems that Ricki is really contradicting herself, and showing favortism to some of the females especially one particular contestant. Nevertheless, I rarely watch the shows and only watch the repeats, if I am bored.
Worst season of Charm School yet. The last episode proves why Ricki Lake is underqualified for the position of “dean”. The show, obviously, is already ridiculous to begin with. Having a “judge” who lacks true judgment makes this show even worse. Not only are the contestants a bunch of idiots, Ricki has proven to be one herself. Stick to talk shows. I have been meaning to write a comment about Ricki Lake hosting “Charm School #3.” I was highly disappointed with her as a host. Ricki Lake is oblivious to things that are right in front of her face. Her comments in the past of how women should act or be treated are from the dark ages. She needs to wake up and be apart of the 21st century, and realize that women have had to step and become leaders to help our society continue to advance and grow, because somewhere along the way a lot of men have lost focus on the things that are important. Trust me; I know there are still some good ones out there, because I am married to a good one. She really needs to open her eyes and embrace the beautiful reality that we live in a society where women are given an opportunity to peruse and live their dreams.
In the end, the right person was chosen as the winner, with the help of the other two host. I think she would have picked the wrong person if she didn’t have help. As we all recall, there were some girls that were let go who should have stayed, and some that remained who should have been let go. She made very poor decisions and is an extremely poor judge of character.
