Where can you go this summer to hear “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” and “I Want You To Want Me” coming from one single stage? Plenty of places. Dates for 40-city North American romp that features Def Leppard, Poison, and Cheap Trick were just announced today. The action kicks off in Camden, New Jersey on June 23.
Def Leppard front man Joe Elliott is calling it the “rock tour of the summer,” and Poison singer Bret Michaels says each stop will be “a night of a 1000 hits.” Something tells us that there are tons of hard rock fans who are going to agree.
Live Nation produces the tour, and tickets go on sale March 6 at the Live Nation Website.

What about Miami or Ft. Lauderdale? They are regulars in South Florida @ the Hard Rock. Surpised not to see any dates posted. They rocked last year with REO Speedwagon & STYX. Def Leppard hasn’t been to Oregon since i was in 4th grade….My mom wouldn’t let me go see them then and they haven’t been back since. I was so excited when i heard they were going on tour again…but alas…no Oregon!!
Def Leppard probably still has a bad taste in their mouth about Oregon – because the last time they perfomed here was 2001 at the State Fair Grounds in Salem,OR. and had a run in with the City,County,Police, regarding the Sound Ordinance Rule – that bands are not allowed to play above a certain decibel. Joe was so furious that he was tempted to not play at all, but he didn’t want to disappoint the fans and announced that would play and gave fans the option to leave and get their ticket money back…This was so messed up! Def Leppard in my mind was and still is one of Rocks Biggest Icons…Too Big of a Venue for the piss ant town of Salem…

My husband and I are going to the Def Leappard concert in Augst down here in West Palm Beach! I can’t wait to see them and to see Poison! Never have seen these 2 bands before in concert but we have seen Cheap Trick last year they were real good!
I think its funny , and a shame, that Cheap Trick will be the opener for this show. They clearly have more talent and have the best music, by far, out of the three. Cheap Trick are considered legends and have influenced many and i’m sure Def Leppard and Poison. But I guess Cheap Trick just love to play and don’t care. As long as they are playing they are happy. They are quite the band to see live!

I have been a die hard Lep fan since 1983 and I am still very much in love with them. Even though I am married and have a child, I would leave my husband for Joe or Sav (my daughter goes with me). I have been to many Def Leppard concert’s in my time, and since they are coming to Atlanta in August, I think that it would be the most wonderful 40th birthday present for me to be able to meet my band. DEF LEPPARD IS THE GREATEST BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
