Being disabled is hard to be able to go to concerts, because there have been a few places that don’t have the space for my wheelchair. I am not saying I have never been to a concert; I have been to 4 of the best. We’ve seen Metallica, Godsmack, Eric Clapton, and last but not least, Tom Petty. 3 of those were in ND, and one has been in Minneapolis, so we pretty much knew the setting. At other places, not so much. Before I got with my fiance, I have never been to a concert; once we got together he felt like I am just like everyone else, so why should I have to miss out, and not be able to enjoy a concert like everyone else. To be honest, I don’t want to win the contest for myself, but for Jack. Just to say thank you for making sure I am able to do certain things, and enjoy myself just like everyone else. I know winning this contest would be a way for me to say thank you to Jack, and we would have a blast. Plus, I have always, always wanted to see Aerosmith, and I would be so grateful & honored if I got a chance to see them. So, I guess I’ll cross my fingers, and see how things go.
Never was a groupie, saw Muddy, Jimi, Janis, Jim and Al Cooper perform 1967 as a pretty underage ice-cream server. They played on a floor level stage, barely 12 feet away. We were in awe with respect.. back then.
With a good pair of genes, and a continuing appetite for the best of blues, I would stand proud and greatfully, to see ZZ from the side of their stage.

wow, it would be the thrill of a lifetime,def leppard,poison, and cheap trick are probably my 3 favorite bands at 47 years old these bands were the sound of my best years growing up. (if that makes any sense) when my wife was alive we saw all 3 bands numerous times some of them at venues that don’t even exist any more. it would be an honor and a priviledge not to mention a thrill of a lifetime to see all 3 together and to go backstage whew it would be a dream come true.

I have been an Aerosmith fan for more than 30 yrs. recently I have lost 142 pds listening to their music while exercising. They are total rock and roll and have changed my life forever. I would love to see all of these bands once more. This is one of the best summer rock tours in a long time and to see any of these band would be great but to see them all would be just killer. Rollin down the windows and blasting out Leppard’s Pour Some Sugar On Me or Cheap Trick’s I Want You to Want Me would be so cool on the way to the show.

Some songs will bring a tear when I remember what was going on in my life. My 17 year old son tells me to get a grip and get hip? I would absolutely love to see and meet Aerosmith!!! Still have their first album – Toys In The Attic that I got in 1974. My favorite song is Dream On. I am also originally from the Boston area. I saw them, just before they got famous, on the East Coast, Fall of ’73 at Stonehill College – N. Easton, MA. They started playing Dream On, on the radio, within weeks of that night. A month later, I moved to CA and I was telling people about them and that song and they didn’t know what I was talking about. It took 6 mos, until they started playing the song, on the radio out there. Then I was telling them – “This is the song I was trying to tell you about!” I have never seen them since. Would be great to meet them, after all these years!

I turned on my youngest brother to Fleetwood Mac – Rumors album one hot summer day. He’s been one of Stevie Nicks ultimate fan ever since. In college his room was covered with pictures/posters of Fleetwood Mac and the beautiful Stevie Nicks.
I have seen Fleetwood Mac many times in my hey-day and many more times in Stevie’s solo career. Wished that Christie would go on tour with them, she has an amazing voice.

Talk about re-liveing by teen age years. I have seen every one of these groups at least once and 3 of them I’ve seen at least 3 times in my life. I would love to make it 2 or 4 more times. I still listen to classic rock on my sterio, and computer, just can’t/don’t want to give it up… I’m part of the baby boom and darn proud of it. I did notice however, that there is not a Texas tour for Fleetwood Mac. That would really be nice but I was born in Kansas City, MO and moved to Texas in 1982 so I am more than excited if I could win these tickets and go back home to see them where I saw them to begin with. I am a 36 year old mother of 3. Because my mom and dad listened to Fleetwood Mac when I was a small girl, I have always loved them. My mom didn’t know that they were my favorite band and when they had their reunion tour, my mom bought herself a ticket. When she said she was going to the concert, I asked her why she didn’t get me a ticket. She said she didn’t think I wanted to go. I was very upset. the first time i saw fleetwood mac was back in the 70′s. i have followed them and also stevie on her on and have seen them many many times and many places. a dear friend of mine had cancer back in the 80′s and their concert was one of the last things i got to do with her. great show as always. thanks for the many years and great songs.
I want to see Fleetwood Mac again cuz I love them. I grew up with them. I have seen them about 4 times and Stevie Nicks alone about 6 times. My older daughters name is Stephannie after Stevie Nicks and my best friend named her daughter Sara after the song.

i would love to see fleetwood mac in concert because i have been a big fan for 30 years, and i have never seen them live before i have never got a chance to see them play live that is but i have all of their records i have all of their videos and have seen them do so much in the time they have been together.it is nice to see that they got back together one more time,i also play music i have devoted most of my life to playing music i play guitar, bass, and drums.i love this band and so many others i have more time now to see a concert than i used to even though i have seen alot of groups when i was younger in the early 80′s i am 34 now i am retired and i would just once like to see this great band i love stevie nicks and how she sings and i love lindsy buckingham’s guitar playing as well mick on drums and john mcvie on bass.this band has done alot for me their music makes me want to do so much more in music.

Im crazy about poison. I have been a fan of them since my dad introduced me to them (about when I was 5). i also luv Def leppard. In fact i had to write a report about them in school last year.
Would be great to see Aerosmith and ZZ Top. The last time I saw Aerosmith, I had taken my oldest son who was then 15. Who would know that 2 years later my son would pass away. I bought him a shirt and I feel he must have taken it with him as we could never find it. Anyway, I would treasure a great performance to bring back the memories of my son and I connecting and enjoying the same kind of music.

I would have liked to gotten a chance to see Aerosmith. I was at their concert in Detroit when they were so F ed up and got booed off the stage. I was a paperboy, saved my money and purchased a $25.00 seat. I was p offed and never seen them again because of that. I feel that Tyler and the boys owe me. (Read the book)

The first time I saw Skynyrd was back in 1977 at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, PA. It was my first concert ever. It was an all day event with 4 or 5 other bands. It was the best. Our seats were on the field. I always said I wanted to be a back-up singer as long as they didn’t turn on the mic. Man, time sure does fly. My lighter is ready!

Two great acts in one place doesn’t happen very often. I think both are summertime staples, at least in my world. Nothing gets me in a good time party mood like a Kid Rock or Lynyrd Skynyrd tune. Honestly, Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd are both huge influences on my own music. I would love to win this contest to take my dad to see and meet two of our favorite artists. My dad and I don’t really find many artists that we both like, but these two are one of the few exceptions. My dad is the hardest working man I know. Why have I not been included in the “I’m With The Band”, contest’s, but one, which wasn’t my submission?
I have seen every one of the band’s that you are advertising except one and that would be Kid Rock, along with Lynyrd Skynyrd, as of whom was my daughter’s first concert, because she went with me at nine years of age. Hell, I want to see them all but Def Leppard, I have never missed one of their US shows, ever, and never want to. The same goes for Aerosmith and ZZ Top. I have membership’s with Def Leppard, which were nice enough to send e-mail’s, and Aeroforce1, which I have the back-stage pass and all but have never been acknowledged for any of the cash they are getting. On the other hand, I have an autographed drum styk from Frank Beard. No, I am not grandma Methuselua, but I am me and cannot see who would deserve to pass down the torch better in the United States than me. I will take a job with any of these bands and have no regrets!

Keep it up! I recently have been to ZZ Top & ACDC concerts “wow !!!!!) and would love love love to see Aerosmith in concert. I’ve been a huge fan of rock & metal since the 70′s. Black Sabbath, ACDC, Stones, Kiss, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Alice Cooper, plus many more.

I would love to go, I am 44 years old and never been to a concert. I love Def Leppard, Fleetwood Mac, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Poison. My husband Ricky surpised me and took me to the beach in 2006, first time I had every seen the beach. I love all 80′s music. We listen to it all the time. I have their tapes, and cd’s.

Damn just paid attention to the commercial for “I’m w/the band” went to join up and win Def Leppard tickets and it says the deadline was 3 days ago… slip me in if you can VH1… Def is the Greatest!! and I missed the Philly area appearance this year…Sucks!!

Just a little complaint. For the last 10 years I’ve been trying to get my wife to an Aerosmith concert. I’ve seen them 7 times and my wife hasn’t seen them yet.
The first time we were going to see them at the Virginia Beach Ampitheatre it was the day of the 9/11 bombing. The next time there was a threat of a hurricane and the show was cancelled. The next show was cancelled because Steven Tyler was ill. Then on the next tour we were running short on money and figured they would cancel so we didn’t purchase tickets and they actually went thru with the show. Now this year they posponed the show. I’m sure it will be cancelled soon. Thanks for listening.
