The Celebreality Interview - Prancer

The girl who changed the game speaks! Below, Prancer talks about her contusion, her falling out (and reconciliation) with Cali, being labeled the “strongest” of the Top 5, embracing her inner turtle, and her new boobs.

How was your time on the show?

Fun. I actually enjoyed the challenges. I didn’t know how athletic I was. I met a couple of cool people.

I thought it was interesting that by the end, you were considered the strongest.

I didn’t expect that, either. I didn’t think I would be the weakest, but I also didn’t know I was as strong as I was.

How’s your contusion?

It’s good, and it was not a fake injury! I promise, it was real! It hurt for a good two weeks after I got home. It was still really, really sore.

It just seemed like besides your fall during the boobs challenge, there were no signs of it after the episode that it happened.

What people don’t understand is we have off days. I injured it the one day, and the next day was the Power Outing. So I didn’t have anything to do. I iced it at the Power Outing, and the next day after that was an off day so I had an entire day to rest. It got better. When we did the boob challenge, I injured it again. My leg gave out. If you look in the background, you can see that while everyone else is going the challenge, I’m icing it. It really was injured!

Plus, at this point, you’d have no reason to lie about it, right?

Exactly. No one believed me. They thought I was fake-crying and all this stuff, and it was like, no. I’m really a crybaby!

A lot of people from Frank’s alliance credit you with having changed the game.

I absolutely changed the game, but I changed the game because they flipped on me. When we first got there, I roomed with them. I was supposed to be part of that alliance. Me and Cali. They tried to make it seem like we were high on the totem pole, that we were really in, but they kept having these meetings and making decisions without us. Once we go the new teams, they tried to make it seem like we were still good. Then, they tried to make it seem like there was no more alliance. And then, all of a sudden, they wanted to get rid of Cali. I realized I was next after that, that I wasn’t in with them like I thought. My only other option was to form a new alliance. Unfortunately for them, that new alliance picked them off one by one.

What was your take on their raging reaction to you forming that alliance?

I thought it was hilarious, because it came as a complete surprise to them. Here they are thinking they can bully people into doing what they want, and that they were running the house and it turned so quickly on them.

It seemed like part of your strategy was to be nomadic when it came to alliances. You ended up working with Saaphyri.

It got to the point where I knew I would be going home if I didn’t do something. It was me that got Ice in the box [on her last episode]. I had to take someone with me. At that point, I was done with alliances. I even told Saaphyri, “I don’t want an alliance with you! I’m just telling you that even though I’m injured, if I get Paymaster, I’ll save you to return the favor, and if I don’t, we want to vote the same way. I want to vote Tailor Made and Myammee out. So you’ll have the numbers if you keep me.” At that point, I had alienated myself from Myammee and Tailor Made. I was done with it all. I was ready to play this game for me.

Do you feel betrayed by Myammee?

In a sense, yeah. After Flavor of Love, we weren’t friends, but I did think that because we were on an alliance and because I had saved her, we were cool. I thought we could have kept the P.G.A. alliance. We could have gone to Frenchie and gotten her to vote for Tailor Made. But you know, you gotta do what you gotta do to win. That’s what she did and I can’t be mad at her for that.

Any thoughts on her eliminating you?

I expected it. I was the strongest one there. If she hadn’t eliminated me, I would have won. I think everyone knew that. I just wish that I could have gotten through my last challenge a little better.

What do you think about Myammee winning?

Things happen for a reason. I would rather it had been me, and if it wasn’t me, out of all the people left, I wish that It would have won. That would have been hilarious, just for TV. But I hope that Myammee can do some good things with it. I hope that it can help her make more money. Hopefully she doesn’t blow it all on weaves that don’t make her money. People aren’t really into buying cheap weaves. She says she wears cheap weaves. She’s the only person that I know that does that. Everyone I know wears expensive weaves.

What about your falling out with Cali?

Everyone was saying that we were in a secret alliance. There never was a secret alliance. Once we got on separate teams, were on separate teams. They tried to get me to eliminate her, but at that point, we were talking about a secret alliance. The original P.G.A. was supposed to be me, Cali and Myammee. Cali was supposed to help us throw the Fire and Ice challenge, and when she didn’t, it was like: forget you! Then she tried to lie and throw me under the bus and it was like, no. I’m staying with my alliance. I felt really betrayed by her. She was trusting these people that wanted to send her home. At that point, I was done with it, but I still tried to tell her what she needed to do to save herself: get somebody else in the box with you. Saaphyri, Buckwild, anybody. She trusted 20 Pack’s plan that she was gonna trade two for one. I don’t know why she trusted him. In the end, I felt like she betrayed me and I just wanted to get her back.

So that’s why you took the opportunity to eliminate her, instead of Tailor Made doing so?

Yeah. I know, it’s mean. I didn’t even think they were gonna let me do it. When I got up there, she was looking all sad, and I wasn’t as mean as I had planned on being. I felt bad. That’s my girl, I love her.

So you’ve reconciled?

When I was getting on the airplane to come back from Mexico, I called her to ask her something about some little bullcrap. We talked about it and she said, “So when are you coming out here?” It was squashed immediately. We have a really strong bond that we formed on the boat ride over.

What did you think about Buckwild calling you a turtle?

I wish that I would have been able to punch her or something, but it was like, she’s not worth $250,000. Plus, I’m a lady. Ladies have restraint. Thinking back on it, I think she may have some identity issues. On Flavor of Love, she wanted to be black. And then she came to Mexico looking like a chola. And now she’s trailer trash. I think if they have her on another season, it should be in Asia so that she should come back as a geisha. She has a weird way of adapting to her surroundings.

Did her criticism hurt your feelings?

No! Turtles are cute. I was like, “Oh, I guess I do look like a turtle.” Whatever. I don’t take it seriously.

You were talking about the lack of cute guys when you were in the pool with Cali. Were you attracted to anyone on the show?

Craig J. Jackson. I have the biggest crush on him. He’s so hot. When I was watching Season 1, I was like, “Oh my gosh, he’s the hottest guy I’ve ever seen!” I would sit there and eat breakfast with the Talking Craig Head. I had a shirt on the first episode that said in jacked up Spanish “C.J. is very hot.”

It’s like a hot-for-teacher scenario.

He’s not that much older than me. I can’t help how hot he is. I think he’s been really professional about it up to this point, but now that the show’s over, maybe he’ll hit me up on MySpace? Craig, if you’re listening?

Do you think there’s more reality TV in your future?

I starting doing all this reality stuff because I wanted to be a real actress, but it turns out that I love reality! Love it, love it, love it. I would love to do more shows. I’d love to do another I Love Money and win it this time. I’d rather do reality than the real stuff.

We at least got to see more of your character on this than on Flavor of Love, right?

Yeah. Everyone wants to know what happened to the Heelies. I’m a goofy girl, but people started to think that there’s all that is to me: silly girl that skates around. I wanted to show that I can be more of myself and stay around a lot longer this time. It sucks to get that far and lose, but whatever.

Yeah, you won anyway, right? You got a boob job.

I went on there wanting to get my boobs done and I ended up not winning…and getting my boobs done anyway. Having boobs is great. I feel really hot now. Not that I didn’t before, but no one wanted to see my training-bra boobies. So I’m making up for lost time.
