celebrity_rehab3_cast2

The next installment of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew isn’t set to hit VH1 for months, but we can reveal the cast of the third season now. Check the shot above, and for more details, check the press release below:

VH1 has once again partnered with Dr. Drew Pinsky for a third season of the hit reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. The series, consisting of eight one-hour episodes, is slated to premiere in early 2010.

Similar to the first two cycles, the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew will follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at the Pasadena Recovery Center. The show will follow Mackenzie Phillips (One Day At A Time), Heidi Fleiss, Dennis Rodman, Mindy McCready (country music singer), Lisa D’Amato (America’s Next Top Model), Mike Starr (Alice in Chains), Kari Ann Peniche (ex-Miss United States Teen) Joey Kovar (Real World Hollywood), and Tom Sizemore.

The series will chronicle the patients’ intensive 21-day program with both group and one-on-one therapy and non-traditional therapies like art and music. Returning to the show to help Dr. Drew are drug counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague who have each spent years on both sides of the rehab fence. Dr. Drew is also bringing in some additional prominent physicians to help him give the patients supplementary one-on-one care.

My name is jasmine kline and if u google me it comes up as a pro model and actress..yet it’s been sooo long an it’s even hard 4 me 2 believe I ever was….. pls help me ….www.jasminekline.com….

  • Paul Kaihla Says:

I have enormous respect for Dr. Drew and the participants who have agreed to bare their souls — and teach us.

Dr. Drew is a teacher. And yet each of the clients are teachers, too. Dr. Drew does not tell us about his relationship problems — and believe me, he has them. I don’t know him personally … I mean, we all have them.

He does not reveal them on camera. That is not his role. Let us honor Dr. Drew’s staff and participants for showing us so much about ourselves.

  • AIC Rocks Says:

I have been a HUGE AIC fan for years and I hope that Mike stays clean and sober. I would hate to see what happened to Layne happen to him.

  • Rachael Says:

I’ve watched all the seasons of Celeb Rehab, but I have to say this one hits me hard. Tom Sizemore makes me want to cry and write a letter. He was a SERIOUS actor (Oscar Nominated I believe) who had a promising career. Now he looks as if someone cut his hair with a weed whacker and he’s with that crack whore, Monroe. It just breaks my heart and makes me cry every time I see him. I fear that by the end of 2010 he’ll be dying or dead.
I hope they all can overcome their demons and addictions, but most of all I pray for Tom Sizemore. I’m really pulling for him.

  • Sandra Luna Says:

My sobriety date is 9/1983. Do you need any help during the summers?

  • Sally Says:

No drug addict with these kinds of addictions can get clean with this type of treatment. If there addictions are as bad as portrayed they would need a hospital detox first. This is exploitation at its finest. Dr. Drew should be ashamed of himself. And the “celbrities”, what a joke..they are doing this for a paycheck. Shame on you Dr. Drew and VH1

  • lele Says:

i love heidi fleiss. i think shes so down 2 earth n humble. she has such loyalty n integrity n lives by a code that not many ppl respect now-a-days. i hope so much 4 her 2 get better.
heidi- i have pandering. its so cool i love how its put 2gether. i bought it 5yrs ago @ a strip club n pahrump nv. i used 2 wrk @ sheris ranch. ur a total friend n ma head =0).

  • Nikita Says:

Kari Ann is a complete brat and I probably will mute her every time she opens up her big bratty mouth. I hope Mindy is doing better, she seemed so sweet. Also, Mike, Tom, you guys have WAYYY too much talent to waste it on addiction. Please Please Please get well and stay well and give the public your music and acting again. I also wish the best for Mackensie and Heidi. Have no use for Dennis…can’t even speak an audible word..and a complete Narcisist. Lisa, hope you can stay sober and so something other than pose for pictures. Nuff Said!

  • bill davis Says:

Hang in there Mike, i am getting off methadone as i write this, its tough! i thought it was funny when you laughed and said “i’m sick all the time, i’m sick now”! i feel your pain. but remember there IS a light at the end of the tunnel, you can & will get through this!

  • Donna Andrulat Says:

I am so sick of watching all of these addicts feeling sorry for them selves! Why dont anybody ever make a show about the innocent familys, spouse, children etc…. Going through PURE HELL putting up with everyday life with these persons playing the victim! Yes although they have been through things in life why is the other side never publicly known! No help for us! We loss our families, friends, and even children BUT MOST OF ALL OUR SELVES! Trying to love and make these kind of addicts better where is the sympathy and shows for us!

  • Bonnie Riche' Says:

As much as I love Dr. Drew,he seems to baby these celebs I dont think in a (real) rehab you get awakened with juice. His staff has their hands tied because the patients tell on them when they are told to do something they dont want to do.These people are being payed to do this, yet act pissed when the cameras follow them… Tom S. is the only one this season who needs our support and prayers….

  • Helena Says:

I seriously just want to hug all of them…they look like they are in so much turmoil & pain…..yet I know that wouldn’t fix the problem…..the problems are buried so deep within their anger & depression….SO SAD to watch.
I pray for all of them….
    Helena

  • Helena Says:

I just spent time in a nursery with drug addicted newborns….they are an inspiration to anyone who needs help. I wanted to hug every single little one….just like those on the show…they need love, a caring home setting & good people in their lives.
I pray for you guys…it does not look easy!
Written with my heart & soul…
    Helena

  • Brianna Says:

    No more Kari Ann pleaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeee!!

  • autumn1975 Says:

I have watched all of the episodes from the beginning of Celebrity Rehab. I really cannot take this Kari Ann anymore. I was very disappointed that she even came back after the Celebrity Sex Rehab show. She is a spoiled brat and I’d love to know how she was raised. Only child maybe…or baby of the family.

Either way, she should be treated just like everyone else. But I feel she is getting whatever she wants or has a tantrum. Wouldn’t life be great if that is all adults had to do to get something they wanted! Grow the f*** up, Kari Ann. You do not make yourself look good at all on this show and others. You are very immature at the least. My feelings on you does not have enough room for posting my comment.

I’m done w/you. Please change just for yourself.

  • Melissa Says:

I am sooo disappointed that we have to put up with the piece of garbage named Kari Ann. First off, David, her svengali/manager has pushed for her and all the other D-list celebs he manages (Steven Adler, Shifty Binzer, Mary Carey) so that they can earn a paycheck and he can get his 2 seconds of fame and a commission. Kari Ann is a waste of space and needs a +%`%&~*)@@@^@_(^ in beating. She talks a lot of smack but when she pushed Shirley over the edge and Shirley grabbed her she looked scared because in the real world I’m sure there is a laundry list of &*_&)^!+&##`+((&+ es waiting to beat the @(`^^($#)`()_)$` out of this &*_&)^!+&##`+((&+ and put her in her place. When Dennis Rodman is rolling his eyes at you because of your behavior there’s definitely a +%`%&~*)@@@^@_(^ ing issue. I am sooo disappointed in Dr. Drew allowing this farce to continue andallowing this @&(#~%&~%&%&`+~@& to waste everyone’s time including the viewers and those who watch and may need help themselves. I guess I’ll just have to fast forward through her tantrums which means I now have 15 minutes of show left. What’s the point I might as well quit watching.

  • Mark A Says:

does anyone know what song was playing at approx min 47 of the episode where Tom Sizemore comes back? It was piano w singer singing what sounded like “there’s one way in, one way out, back to the…..”

I can’t find it on the web…it’s driving me crazy

    anyone? Thanks, Mark

  • No one Says:

Kari Ann….I just want to go off about her. Her selfish actions and immature ways she handles others. Then I realize that this 29 year old “child” is in need of severe help. However, she needs to meet her match because she has obviously been very spoiled her whole life.
I was floored to learn she’s 29 years old. After watching her on the Sex Rehab program I thought she was probably 19. This girl needs to get a reality check and grow up.

  • Lisa D Says:

This show is FREAKIN ridiculous. I agree with a previous comment - OHHHH poor celebs feeling sorry for themselves. KICK FREAKIN SIZEMORE and his nasty girlfriend to the curb and let them live in misery. He has made a choice, had an opportunity of a life time and is a loser. I know all to well about drug addicts, alcohols and only wish my siblings would be offered this type of treatment/opportunity. Also isn’t it very CLINICALLY INAPPROPRIATE that they let Sizemore into the facility when Heidi is there? Not going to continue watching the show, because its just some washed up celebs trying to get their next 5 minutes of fame.

  • jj-momscashblog Says:

I’m trying to find the outtakes from tonight’s show but can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. In the interim I came across this post and wanted to put my 2cents in. In regards to Keri Ann Peniche the ex-Miss United States Teen what can one say about this poor pathetic child? Whatever she may have gone through in her young life there is no need for her behavior she is not only childish but acts like the world owes her …to serve her juice in the morning when she cries for it. To bring her tea when she wants it, to let her sleep when she’s too tired to join the group sessions, this chick needs more help than I’m afraid even Dr. Drew couldn’t handle, unless it’s a one on one in a mental institution.

  • Tim Sheehan Says:

I am an addict and I have been in recovery for 6 years and I have never seen a more spoiled brat than this Kari Ann girl. I have met alot of people in recovery and have never seen such a self-centered human being my life.I seen her on sex rehab and dont believe that it done her any good because she doesnt want to change for the good. There is real addicts in the house who want help and clearley she doesnt. It is a wonderfull show until you put someone like Kari Ann in there. If I was Dr Drew I would kick her out until she can respect people and not treat them like animals. I cant believe the help has to put up with a 3 year old on the show. Recovery is a serious part of peoples lives and when you disrespect them you dont belong in the same program. I think a mental hospital would be more appropreate. Dr Drew you are an awesome person and I hope you continue to help people who really need it and want it.Thank you for carrying the message of recovery.

  • Deevil Says:

I’m really praying for Tom. It hurts my heart to see him that way. :(

  • ALS Says:

Kari is an obnoxious brat and I have no idea why Drew continues to care. Everybody in that show, at least, meets the staff half way. If you can’t even do that you’re hopeless. How this little snot ever won a beauty contest is beyond me. Maybe she should be in a treatment center for people with personality disorders.

  • john pluford Says:

praise to the cast for opening up for us to learn from.most people dont know when dennis rodman played for detroit he took care of a lot of boys clubs around the city. if he heres about this he’ll be mad because there was to be no attention for this. thank you for this show it does help me.

  • carol Says:

I enjoy watching the show and progress they are making.. Mackenzie, Heidi, Mary and Dennis seem to really be trying to change and kick their addiction but Tom seems to be wasting time there and just avoiding going to jail or prison… he isn’t ready for rehab, he has to hit bottom first. Tom’s girlfriend, Monroe needs treatment as much as he does for it to work for either one of them.. Keep up the good work Dr. Drew.. Get rid of Lori, she’s a pain to watch and has no respect for anyone not even herself..

  • Terri Young Says:

    Dr. Drew,
I am watching Pearl Harbor and was surprised to see Tom. Tom is a superb actor in this movie and so talented. Please let him know that his performances are still enjoyed and encouraged. It’s so sad that he is in this state, but maybe one fan can make a difference. If anyone can help him, you can. I watch all of your rehab shows. Thank you for all that you do for others. You are a blessing.
    Thank you,
    Terri Young

  • dOll! Says:

does anyone know where lisa d’amato got her shirt that says:

    i “tattoo gun”[pic of] L.A. ??

if anyone knows please post it on here!

    thanxx

I love Dennis Rodman……would love to meet him….he seems very shy and interesting to me….I am a Gulf War Vet, Graduate student, single and very attractive to Dennis Rodman……He draws me to the television when I see him

  • Holly L Says:

Hey, I just watched a commercial for Celeb. Rehab and they were playing a song that I did not catch the name of. Does anyone know what it is? I just heard it today.

  • Theresa Bell Says:

I love your music Mindy McCready Please get well soon and make more great country hits…..My sobriety date is 3/1981

  • Melody Leiber Says:

Been there, done that. Drug addiction is no joke. I tried running away, relocating from place to place, did no good. Until I got right with myself, feeling comfortable in my own skin, getting honest,I am now clean for over 20 years. With the help of close friends. Now,I have to deal with a disability, which sucks. Epilepsy is a brain disorder. I could pass out anytime, anywhere. I have to be careful. I have to take medication for life. My drug of choice was speed and jack daniels, and, xanax. I am doing allot better without that &@#*$##~!^$($*@~ I can cope with being straight. I like it…
    thanx………….Melody

  • Danny Says:

WOW!! I happened to turn on the Rehab Marathon as Tom Sizemore was being admitted and could not believe my eyes when Dr. Drew, a medical professional, drew blood from Tom without using any Universal Precautions. Shame on you Dr. Drew, you of all people should know ALWAYS to protect yourself and your patient, especially with the patient population you work with. I love the work you do but perhaps you and your staff need to refresh yourselves on Universal Precations.
The best of luck to all your patients!

  • russell gann Says:

We have all been through mackenzy’s exploits, although i was un aware the the insest reached into her adult years. But the one persone i felt more fore was heidi, i think she needs friends, who want to be her friends, not money not drugs ,not fame, i would love to be able to email her to tell her she is not alone, she feels alone in a crowded room. i am not female, i don’t have birds, but as another posted, she is real, i think she needs even long distance connections, and a possible friendship could ensue.. G/L to all of you! i have been sober since 1999, i am an alcoholic, my name russ

  • Chicky Says:

JOEY’S EXPERIENCE AT THE WRECKING YARD TRULY BROUGHT UP EMOTIONS IN ME. It’s when he talked about his breathing being simular to his crying, as a child. What a profound recognition of his self! This so amazed me! Incredible in-sight.

  • koson Says:

i was wondering the same thing about Lisa D’Amato t shirt she wore that had a pic of a gun “i pic of a gun la ”

if anybody knows please pass it along

  • boy Says:

I can’t believe that Dr.Drew who is soppose to be a professional would allow Kari Ann in with this group or any other group. Addiction is very serious disease and kari sets such a bad enviroment around her that how can any of the others recieve the kind of help they are there for. She should be treated alone and not on TV. So it just leads me to belive that this is not real, and that it’s just TV, because no real professional would allow someone like Kari around the others who want to get help.

  • tamra Says:

Tom…. please get rid of that horrible woman. you must get better. you are one of the best actors in hollywood. you have so much talent. love yourself my dear. im praying for your recovery. <3
