Celebrity Rehab 3: Peep The Cast
The next installment of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew isn’t set to hit VH1 for months, but we can reveal the cast of the third season now. Check the shot above, and for more details, check the press release below:
VH1 has once again partnered with Dr. Drew Pinsky for a third season of the hit reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. The series, consisting of eight one-hour episodes, is slated to premiere in early 2010.
Similar to the first two cycles, the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew will follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at the Pasadena Recovery Center. The show will follow Mackenzie Phillips (One Day At A Time), Heidi Fleiss, Dennis Rodman, Mindy McCready (country music singer), Lisa D’Amato (America’s Next Top Model), Mike Starr (Alice in Chains), Kari Ann Peniche (ex-Miss United States Teen) Joey Kovar (Real World Hollywood), and Tom Sizemore.
The series will chronicle the patients’ intensive 21-day program with both group and one-on-one therapy and non-traditional therapies like art and music. Returning to the show to help Dr. Drew are drug counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague who have each spent years on both sides of the rehab fence. Dr. Drew is also bringing in some additional prominent physicians to help him give the patients supplementary one-on-one care.

I, personally can’t wait until Season 3 airs. I think that these celebs do have issues the need to be addressed and what a better platform that publicly. They are role models to a lot of teens that look up to them because of their celebrity status and it’s important for youth to see the pitfalls that can happen when you make the wrong choices.
Also, I want to reply to an earlier comment made by Libby on August 20th. She stated that the show is the lowest of the low and that Dr. Drew was only in it to promote himself. She couldn’t be farther from the truth. I’ve met Dr. Drew on the set in Pasadena, CA last June. He’ll be the first to admit that with each celeb that comes to the show, the star status stops at the door. He treats them no different than any other patient he’s had in the past. His passion for helping these celebs get their lives on track is genuine and he takes his work seriously.
I think that the Sober House offers realistic help and it’s not fair to be so critical until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes.

I CANNOT wait until season 3 airs!!! Being a recovering addict, I think that the show is the best of the best!!!! It proves that addiction DOES NOT discriminate!! It doesn’t matter if you’re rich/poor or black/white. It affects everyone. I want to thank Dr. Drew for bringing this illness to light and proving that with support and determination it is possible to recover!!! THANK YOU DR.DREW, YOU ARE the BEST!!!!!

Can this show get any more fake? Like I was watching last night and the next show this chick is carrying a ring in a glass and walks right up to the pool and someone hits the tray and the ring goes flying. OH MY what a fake bunch of crap that is. And then there was the guy that paid 3 grand for a cabanna and this chick gets a $200.00 tip and is soooo mad. Take that hot body to the strip club and make $2000.00 a day with a lot less work.
