Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants A Millionaire, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.
Update: We’re sad to announce that both Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 officially have been canceled.

What’s up girl?
This show was horrible anyways. It seemed scripted and made up. It was a waste of time. The only fun thing to see was Joe, and he was voted off. Ryan was creepy, but maybe he didn’t kill her. My condolences to the family.
VH1 Should do a better job with screen people be for these show start filming. I love VH1 but if show keep up like this MTV will be doing a where are they now on VH1.
Megan did pick this looser and is lucky she didnt ene up in a Suit case folded in Half.

ok… we arent supposed to think there is going to be a 2nd season, stacey! and right now hes just a person of interest. airing another episode or 2 couldnt hurt anyone. if the family of the victim did try to watch it then they obviously wanted to. maybe they would of wanted to get to know more about him. i love how they call him a reality show star… umm it was like 3 episodes in.. i think that makes him a contestant. I don’t think the show should be cancelled. Megan had nothing to do with whatever happened to that poor girl, and from my understanding, he was only on one more show anyway. Hopefully, VH1 will come to their senses and bring the show back on quickly before it loses its viewers.
Wow!, I cant believe what I am reading. Many of you have already ~^$(+@)`*`#+~@% umed he is guilty. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? This is what is wrong with society, none of us have all the details and he has not even been arrested, just listed as a “person of interest” simply because of the way he bailed. Look, most of you lable him as a killer, think about it, do you really blame the guy for running off right now, maybe he just wants to get a lawyer first since everyone is already ~^$(+@)`*`#+~@% uming that he is guilty. Let the courts and a jury decide his guilt/innocence. Until then, I dont understand why VH1 took it off the air unless he went far in the show and finished towards last. They should at least reveal the winner.

I love Megan! I’ve been watching her show for years. She may be shallow, but you have to be honest….at least she is honest about it. You know what you’re getting into. I read her statement… she advised the police of the couples marriage. Ryan married Jasmine in march after he was eliminated. Bring my show back! I can see why they aren’t though. it would be disrespectful.

Ryan is not even a suspect yet, he is only a “person of interest”. Sure he looks guilty, but VH1 has made a critical business error. I don’t think sponsors would pull their ads until he is *proven guilty*. Only then could it be considered tasteless or in bad judgement to Jasmines family. Until Ryan is found guilty he is innocent under US law, I would think business is business, and sponsors and VH1 could have enjoyed some incredible ratings from all of the hype.

Why the #$%* did Megan get a show? Im down with VH1 stars getting dating shows but why a gold digger? Seriously? We want to know what happens. This makes it even more interesting. And it was so much more entertaining than anything else on your channel or the other stupid bachelor(ette) type shows. Now I guess I have to watch “More to Love,” which is soooo much worse.

Reality type shows purposefully cast people with personality disorders and mental illnesses in order to create more “drama” and “entertainment.” It’s our guilty pleasure to watch these ill people and their odd and outrageous antics. But it’s really playing with fire when you exploit mentally unstable people.

This guy was arrested for beating a woman and he was allowed to do the show? WTF? I don’t know who won (though I heard Ryan was a finalist) though I think Ryan didn’t win because I saw on the show Issue on HLN that he “married” the model on March. Megan is lucky she didn’t pick him otherwise she probably be dead. I know a number of people don’t like her and understandly so but no one wants to see or heard about her getting hurt or worse especially from one of the guys from the show. I strongly disagree with the decision to postpone the show. I do feel sorry for the family and the girl, and i do think that Ryan is a complete idiot, but give us back our Megan!!! As a Vh1 addict i need the show!

I understand why VH1 would take out this show for the moment but i heard that you guys were gonna cancel it entirely and i don’t agree with that i beleve that its a great show and it needs airplay….does this mean vh1 is also going to pull I LOVE MONEY 3 since Ryan supposedly won it????
