The Celebreality Interview – Lady

Real sent you home for lack of chemistry…

…Yeah, which is crazy, because the night I was eliminated, we had made plans to go up to his room so that I could give him a massage, so that he could get to know me better since I hadn’t won date yet. I thought it was unfair. I didn’t get a real chance of love. He really didn’t have a reason to eliminate me. He didn’t try to get to know me.

You, on the other hand, said you were feeling a connection. In what way?

It was an emotional attachment. Me and Real had several conversations. We talked about me not being able to have kids, and he read scriptures to me out of the Bible. That’s when I really got close to him, the day of the barbecue. Anyone who’s spiritual, that’s always attractive.

It seemed like when we did see you in one-on-one time, you were just rambling.

No! That was edited so wrong! That was just the first part of the conversation. Real said later that he found me interesting and wanted to get to know be better.

What did you think about your portrayal?

I didn’t like how you have to go to the bonus clips to see my actual character. They didn’t show how crazy and wild and funny I actually was. They didn’t portray that I like girls, because that was true. I actually still do. I tried to keep that to a minimum, though, because I knew my son was going to be watching the show.

Speaking of that, was there anyone in the house that you were attracted to besides Real?

Looking at the show, Chance. I’m attracted to him now. But as for the girls? I had a crush on Classy, because she looked like my ex-girlfriend. But that was then, not now. Everyone else, they’re all sluts. I’m cool with everybody, but they all look like sluts.

Do you call yourself bisexual?

I haven’t dated a girl in a while, so not really. I still like them and think they’re cute, though. It’s not something I’m ashamed of.

Did you feel a sense of otherness entering the purportedly heterosexual …Of Love world?

No, because I wasn’t the only one that liked girls in the house! I grew up liking girls, that’s not something I could change. But at some point, I did realize that I want a husband for my son, a role model. Talking to girls isn’t something I don’t think I could ever take serious. It’s fun. I would date a girl for fun, but not right now.

Did Real’s investment in “moral purity” ever lead to any comments on your sexuality?

No. The only thing was that he said a former girlfriend of his dated girls and she left him for a woman. I was more concerned about the fact that I was dark-skinned than anything having to do with my sexuality. Don’t get me wrong, he’s not racist. He loves black women, and his mom’s black, but I think he prefers a light-skinned woman or a different race. There’s nothing wrong with that, because I prefer a different race, too. I like a white guy, or if he’s black, he has to be really dark-skinned. I don’t hate Real for that. You like what you like.

Junk said something very similar. Was this something you talked about with her?

Since we were eliminated the same night, we ended up eating together that night, and I made her aware of it. The conversation ended there. She put it on Twitter, and so did I, but for me, it was more an LOL-thing. She’s taking it very seriously.

What crazy antics of yours do you wish made it to air?

I have bad habits, chewing paper, so thank God they didn’t show that. I also played pranks on people a lot, scaring them with the Yeti statue while they were sleeping. I broke up some fights, picking up girls and throwing them the other way. I also taught a booty/stripper class.

You were praised for your booty-shaking ability. Are you a stripper?

No! I just think I’m one of the lucky black girls that can dance. I was a back-up dancer for a very long time.

So, wait. Why do you chew paper?

I was on corn starch, Argo starch. My cousin had me chewing it. I guess my iron was low. My cousin ended up having to have surgery for a tumor in her stomach, and they said it was a possibility that it was from the corn starch, and it can make you a diabetic, blah blah blah. Ever since then, I got scared. I didn’t want to eat it no more, but I was still craving it. Everything white that I saw would make my mouth water. So I started chewing chalk and other white stuff, and I finally started chewing toilet paper. When I first started, it was bleach-y. I was like, “Phew. That must be the reason I get infections down there sometimes and female discharge.” I was craving it so bad, so I tried some different toilet paper. It was Angel Soft, and it tasted good! I could tell that it hadn’t been recycled and that it was pure. So now I crave toilet paper. It tastes good, but I don’t swallow it. I figured that since this tasted better, maybe I should wipe myself with it. Now the only paper I wipe myself with is the paper that I chew. I don’t have anymore infections and female problems. Even in the Real Chance of Love house, I had to taste the toilet paper first.

So if it tastes good, it’s good for you?

Yes. The main thing you’re looking for is that bleach-y taste. If it doesn’t have that, you can wipe yourself with it. You gotta think about it: whatever you’re tasting in your mouth, it’s getting down there. You gotta treat that area with kindness. I told that to the girls in the house and some of them are still chewing paper to this day.

Is it fun, as well?

I wouldn’t say it’s fun because I chew so much of it that my head starts to hurt. I have to chew after or before I eat or when I wake up in the morning. It can get a little irritating.

What about the exposure issue? Did you do the show for exposure?

Everybody knows that Real Chance of Love is a hit reality show, so even if you do like them, even if you’re saying that you’re going there only for love, in the back of your head, you’re like, “Oh s***, I’m gonna be on TV. I’m gonna be exposed!” Everybody went there for exposure. Everybody. You can go someplace else to find love, and there are no guarantees you’re gonna get love on there, anyway. The only guarantee is you’re gonna be on TV.
