Bobby Brown is a celebrity but he is CERTAINLY not one of music’s biggest figures. It order for that to be true he’d have to be “huge” because of music–his music. Then, the thought arises, “What music??” LOL! He had a few hits (moreso, years ago), but so have many others and they are hardly considered iconic.

it’s funny how people can’t see whitney’s flaws, if you remember there was a behind the music or e! true hollywood story done on whitney and boddy, and alot of their close friends said in that interview that bobby didn’t bring whitney down, she was who she was before him and it just escalated when the two go together, you can’t put two people together with problems and blame it on the one more rebellious public persona of bobby brown, i remember an interview with the musician kirk whalum he plays the trumpet i believe and he was on the bodygaurd soundtrack and toured with whitney, he stated that she was like that all by herself and that he ended his professional relationship with her because of her destructive habits, and a bodygaurd stated that he watched whitney pay for cocaine and other drugs. My point is you can’t blame this man for their problems alone, it takes two, he didn’t put that crack pipe to her mouth and make her smoke, she was the same as him, they both were successes at a young age and even more so she was more prone to destructive habits because of her success. i think he gave a more informative story then she did on Oprah so leave the man alone he seems to be doing well and we should be supporting him instead of passing judgement,leave that to God.
You know that whitney had been busted w/ weed way before she met Bobby. Now, I dont care too much for Bobby either (cause 0f the womanizing)but it comes a time when everyone has to accept responsability for their own choices. I have to give him props, cause on vh1, he didnt speak one bad word about her. Come on people, they had to have something in common to hook up in the first place. The best performer of 80s and 90s. He had the music world in a choke hold for over a decade. Better that Usher and Chris Brown combine. Wasted talent, but thank God he is on the right path. Thank you for the good music, he sang with passion (heart and soul); he dance moves were awesome.
