I am proud of Russel and Def Jam for 25 wonderful years and I want to personally say Thank You. On a different note I am disappointed in my brothers for having to have plastic right by their side and I am disappointed in my sistas for thinking they wanna look like them and having more operations than them. To my sisters Love yourself because we are beautiful the way good made us. My brothers all I could say is Real recognize Real, so I guess most of yall do love plastic, Then again if all you know is plastic then you end up with the plastic.

2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors was slamming. Much respect to DJ Jazzy Jeffs turntable performance on LL Cool Js Rock The Bells. Hes always been a perfectionist on the wheels of steel, and hes still considered 1 of the best of all times. I still get chills watching that performance.
Ofcourse alot of know that Cut Creator & DJ Bobcat did it back then in the ’80s, but DJ Jazzy Jeff was incredible.

Does anyone know what type of leather jacket Black Thought (the roots) wore during the “rock the bells” performance at the vh1 hip hop honors awards?

Um, Where is Run DMC??? Out of everyone performing tonight, They should have been the FIRST to perform, especially since one of them is the founder’s brother!!! Were the NOT a cornerstone of what Def Jam is today??? Somebody please make their absence make sense!!! ‘Cuz I don’t get it.
