Sex Rehab With Dr. Drew: Watch The Supertrailer!

Above is your first extended look at Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, which premieres Sunday, Nov. 1, at 10/9c. Despite the shift of focus away from drug- and alcoh0l-dependency toward sex, this looks no lighter than the other Rehab installments. In fact, it could even be heavier.

This reminds me… didn’t Celebrity Rehab alumni Mary Carey do a porno parody of the series?

I saw the Celebrity Rehab show seasons ago regarding drug and alcohol addiction, which I felt was a disaster. Out of curiosity, regarding the topic of sex and love addiction, I peeked again. The good doctor Drew just may meander into a 12 step meeting and see just how the wounded healers recover for free, with wonderful results and freedom from addiction. Yep, for free. The celebs that came into meetings a few times seemed drugged and chained to that hospital atmosphere. I am saddened that Drew seems to be an opportunist that may have never grasped the therapy that aids the inflicted. Peace and freedom is promised and can be achieved from Bill Wilson’s good old reliable steps. Call me or email me sometime Drew, and I will meet you for coffee and maybe help straighten out some misconceptions regarding the walking ‘miracles’ that for a “buck in the basket” and an hour or 2 per day can relieve their torment. Do our community a favor and stretch your knowledge base. Of course when found out, you may just be on the unemployment line, like many of us. Until then…..

For those who are afflicted by Sex and Love Addiction, go to http://www.slaalosangeles.org/ and read about the characteristics of addiction. Then find a meeting to walk into in your area and surrender. It costs nothing and no drugs to ‘calm’ you down while you a going through your withdrawal, which is a real “green” recovery solution. This process of “identification” is the amazing healing force that Carl Jung and other doctors describe. You will find that this Dr. Drew show just may be for entertainment purposes. If you don’t find relief and a Higher Power, we will refund your misery. Namaste

I pray for all of the lovely human beings of sex rehab that you find your forgiveness for the wrong that has been done to you, for the pain to go away, for your lives to get to a good place, for your lives that mean so much to me and others who follow your progress, for the treatment be helpful, for a bond to form between all of you in a healthy way, and may you all be happy in the end and able to let go. God Bless You All….

OMG that Kari Ann is a spoiled rotten ~+_*_$`@#*^(!($)% Somewhere in her life she thought she had a special pedestal built for her. She either needs to meet the staff half way or go on feed her addiction till death does them part. How ridiculous for her to talk the way she does to the staff and then tell them to awake her with a glass of juice. I know from experience if you want help you gotta work. She obviously doesn’t want any help just thinks that she’s the prima dona on the show that deserves staff waiting on her constantly. By God she’s not even an actress or an important person. She won Miss Teen and that’s probably the highlight of her life. Let her go and his bottom.

This show just amazes me. The way the patients are petted and pampered is sickening!!! If they don’t want to get up and attend group, kick them out and let them come back when they can act human. No staff member should have to put up with the abuse and disrespect from the patients like they do–I don’t care if they’re celebrities or not. This is one reason celebs. get in so much trouble–because they think they’re above all rules. When I was in a rehab after breaking my back and a Dr. giving me too much pain medicine it was TOUGH!!! I had to be up dressed and ready for vitals at 7:30 a.m. Just a little compassion would have been great! But I wasn’t a celeb. And I didn’t get better. I never got to talk to a Dr. one-on-one even once. Well I guess this is life–you get what you can pay for.

  • Jim Says:

    Hi Dr Drew,
Keri-Anne is a flaming borderline personality. If you agree then you will also agree she probably not be successful in treatment.
    You have a great show..

I love how Dr Drew & the other staff put words into the “sex addicts” mouths… which by the way Im sure none of them are true sex addicts anyway. Funny what D list celebrities will do to be infront of the camera these days. I feel really bad for the cast, I dont think they knew exactly what they were in for. Someone please put Amber in a movie or something so she will stop comming on these shows…. next she’ll be a shopaholic addicted to buying clothes or a glutten addicted to food…

  • STEVE Says:

I really relate to Dave Roy…I prayers is with you man…

From what I’ve seen so far, this is a serious, thoughtful, clinical treatment of a debilitating disease. Dr. Drew deserves a lot of credit for taking on this illness, even though Dr.Patrick Carnes really is the pioneer in treatment of Sex Addiction. Watch and Learn, people. Then read “Out of the Shadows” and any other Dr. Patrick Carnes book. Anyway, kudos to Dr. Drew and I hope this show wins an Emmy. The recovering addicts deserve much respect as well. They may not know it yet, but they are helping a lot of people and really breaking new ground in the addiction recovery field. Thank You…
