Behold the Lords of the Revolution, VH1′s newest Rock Documentary series that explores some of the biggest iconoclasts from the past century. The five-day documentary, premiering on August 10 at 8PM EST, will focus on five people or groups that have changed the shape of pop culture and in some cases, the world. Each night, a different documentary will focus on the following legends: Andy Warhol, Timothy Leary, Muhammad Ali, The Black Panthers, and Cheech and Chong.
There’s no better way to introduce the most influential minds of a past generation than with an example of the most creative minds of the next generation. The promos for
Lords of the Revolution feature a band that’s no stranger to iconic imagery:
Kasabian take their name from Linda Kasabian, a follower of
Charles Manson and star witness in the trial that imprisoned him. Their song “Fast Fuse” (listen in the clip above
or at Rhapsody) is the
Stone Roses by way of the
Beatles‘
White Album (so that ties nicely into the Helter Skelter-y history of their name) and is on their third album,
West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. And if you’re not convinced yet that they’re worth a listen, maybe the world’s most famous wizard will put you over the edge —
Daniel Radcliffe is a fan.

Hulk and Linda Hogan settled their divorce early Tuesday morning during a hearing in Clearwater, Fl. Though the terms of the settlement were not made public, Hulk and Linda’s desire for familial peace was. “The war is over,” Linda said after the hearing. “I still love him. He’s the father of my children…We’re trying to be a family one more time.” Hulk echoed her sentiment: “When you’ve been married to somebody for 23 years and you’re crazy in love and you had children with them, it’s a situation where you wish for the best, but we have so many tough things going on with business and situations that happened, you know, we just got torn apart.”
After months of accusations and a generally hostile and very public back-and-forth between Linda and Hulk, this move toward peace is welcome. It’s rare that we’re not thirsting for drama in these parts, but in this case, we’re happy to see it subside. [The Suncoast News]

You’ve seen the ladies set to compete for the heart of Antonio Sabato, Jr., when My Antonio premieres Sunday, August 16 at 10/9c on VH1. Now, probe into their minds via some casting tapes made before the show. Above is that of Tully Jensen, who used to go by Tully Jensen Sabato. That’s right — in what might be a reality TV first, an ex-wife is competing to win back the love of her former husband. And, what’s more is that we hear Tully took it upon herself to be part of the show, and, in fact, wouldn’t take no for an answer. She nagged VH1′s head of programming and development, then submitted her tape along with everyone else (seen above and featuring a barely revealing strip-tease) and then sent it to casting on her own accord. No word on whether she resorted to smoke signals or spelling out her desire to appear on the show via an airplane, but frankly, it wouldn’t surprise us.
Three more ladies below…

“Duh. Of course I wanted the money. And of course I said things I didn’t mean and acted ways that weren’t myself,” Ashley tells us in her post-Charm School interview. And there’s more coming clean where that came from! Below, Charm School‘s resident “mean girl” talks about her return to stripping, why she thinks she deserved the prize money over Risky and Marcia, her embarrassment over appearing on Charm School in the first place, and why she doesn’t think being a bitch is such a bad thing, after all.
