Viewers will watch as these women juggle between stress and success while raising their children, building their businesses, fending off groupies and finding stability in an unstable atmosphere. In Basketball Wives viewers will finally get a glimpse into the secret lives of the women behind these men, and realize that it’s not just the players they date or are married to…but also the game. What Chilli Wants

april_chilli-solo

Beauty, success, money…Chilli has everything she’s ever wanted, except a good man. Her friends say she is single because her “Chilli’s Checklist,” a catalog of standards and traits any potential dating prospect must meet, is too high and unrealistic. According to the expansive list, he must have eight-pack abs, a gorgeous face, has to be funny (like Marlon Wayans-funny), has to love kids, has to be religious, can’t smoke, can’t drink, and can’t eat pork, just to name a few.

Now, as a last resort, Chilli has enlisted the help of relationship expert Tionna Smalls. Over the course of eight weeks, Tionna will break down Chilli’s impossible criteria and the emotions behind them, introduce her to hundreds of men and hopefully find her that perfect guy. Find out What Chilli Wants during the series premiere on VH1 Sunday, April 11 at 10:30 PM.

The eight half-hour episode series of What Chilli Wants is produced by FremantleMedia North America. Executive Producers are Larry Barron, Kevin Williams, Bill Diggins and Chilli. Executive Producers for VH1 are Jim Ackerman, Dave Hamilton and Jeff Olde.

    yayyyy brandy cant wait

  11. KD says:

The “basketball wives” look like a train wreck. Was the budget so low for production you couldn’t afford a stylist on set? Only one of the women is actually married to an NBA player…the others ranged from groupie-turned-babymama to ex-girlfriends, ex-fiancees,and ex-wives. Seriously?

Please tell us you’re pulling the show….no one wants to see this hot mess.

  12. KD says:

Just a thought VH-1…why don’t you mix shows. Basketball wives obviously need help. Get the Tough Love people over to Basketball Wives (or even Dr. Drew). Now that’s a storyline that becomes interesting.

  13. prtylora108 says:

i love vh-1 shows. ive always enjoyed brandy’s music. i think she has a rare talent. but ray j. forget it.. he only got famous cuz of some sex tape and who his sister is. he had what like a couple of hit songs? plus two seasons of a reality show that instead of for the love of ray j, should be ~%)~#(%%%@`$%~~ led who can i f*** next. he is pathetic and should be ashamed of himself for the way he treats women. but karma is a b***h…

  14. Lynn G. says:

Brandy looks really pretty. Looking forward to watching her new show! Will be watching Shaunie and Basketball Wives also!

  15. Rozy Bee says:

OMG!!!!!!This is going to be off the chain. For once a reality show that focus on real life issues.A that let’s you see how families cope with one another in business.Thank B & Ray J for letting us see the real you. This show will touch all life styles.Again thanks for keeping it real….

  16. Riann says:

    Chilli,

I can’t wait to watch your show tonight. I wish you the best. But I don’t think you will be able to pull it off you have a couple of unrealistic standards. You are gourgeous you don’t need a goergous man believe me a handsome man will do. It will be kind of hard to find a man who doesn’t have an occasional glass of fine wine, it’s not a sin. Dallas and Usher are far away from gourgeous, however you son is gourgeous. Keep it real be selective shy way from being a cougar. Youngmen men are far too much trouble..unless he’s bringin home the $$$$$$$$$$$$ No thank you. Hope to see a good show.

  17. Aiysha says:

I watched the show only because of a commerical on We I saw it on tv during a platnium brides rerun so i wanted to watch something new so i turned to VH1. And i was really into the show I know Brandy’s mom is missed understood but i think all the moms would like her because she is strong and centured and unique real and honest and is allways looking out for her kids when everyone in hollywood is allways looking out for for no.1. I love your parents Brandy and Rayj if dont want to go broke like Toney Braxton and MC Hammer my advice is to listen to mom and dad. Well also RayJ and Brandy i love how you have your new show i was really into it even the drama i like how you got your relatives and friends helping out so that no ones asking for money everyone is earning it. I love the show can’t wait for the next episode. Love Aiysha

  18. ndmetal says:

another crappy show from vh1–what is the point of it all? vh1 sinks lower and lower into the cesspool of garbage programing……..

  19. Chey says:

Please don’t do this to your viewers, wasn’t it bad enough watching Rayjay, now we have to endure this. The only real artist is Brandy and she hasn’t had a hit in God knows how long. She is a talented artist and shows like this just diminishes not only her status, but the credibility of VH1 as a network worthy of producing quality programming. Rayjay’s last show had more strippers, and tramps on it than a 2 live crew’s pop that coochie video, it was poor trash. This station can do better than this, stop punishing the viewers with stuff like this

  20. Donna says:

I would like to know whoooo does Chili think she is? she is not all that, she looks alright!!!1st of all what does a man eating PORK gotta to do with her,2nd say she doesn’t want a ALCOLHOLIC( that can’t handle their liquor) not.. SHE DOES NOT WANT no one that drinks. and to say, which we all know She,and no one is PERFECT.. then why is she trying to make him PERfect? SHE SOUNDS A PRIZE BLUE RIBBON FOOL….with that LIST…

  21. Carmel says:

Chili, needs to know that is why she is single, or else she would NOT have to seek help to find her a man.. like Missy Elliot said, she is looking for JESUS…What if they say they don’t want a woman that still brushes baby hair out…or simply wear outdated hair styles..then what? A man drinking moderately, that can handle his thang..(how is that bothering her)look for those things SWEETIE don’t let it be known..it’s nationwide TV..

  22. Nikki Parker says:

Just wondering where Brandy’s baby is? Is the baby going to be in the show? Isn’t the show about family? Where’s the baby?

  23. LIKE says:

WE WANNA WATCH THESE SHOWS IN CANADA!!!!!

  24. imme says:

mr oneal what in the hell were you thinking bout.man you dum thats one fine (`)%%!^!*^~_()+ woman you had.hey ms oneal do you like girls?

  25. DONNARAY says:

SHAUNIE…STAY STRONG YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN AND ITS DEFINATELY SHAQ’S LOSS….HE TRIPPIN TOO….BUT THEM SKANKS DONT EVEN COMPARE….LOVE YOU

ROYCE….STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU …..DONT SUCCUMB TO THOSE MISERABLE INSECURE TROLLS…..EVELYN AND JENNIFER ARE JUST BOTH A HOT MESS AND NEED TO STOP PASSING JUDGEMENT…..DUMBIES

  26. Karisma says:

The only thing I’m liking about Basketball wives is that Shaunie O’Neil seems to be staying out of the picture… I have no idea what I’m suppose to get out of the show???? It’s suppose to be about what Basketball wives go through being in relationships with Athletes… But the wives just seem like a bunch of Superficial, Airheads who are really not that interesting. Jennifer keeps calling Evelyn her friend… But if Evelyn was really Jennifer’s friend… at her birthday dinner why would Evelyn sit her “Girl” directly across from a female that obviously had a problem with Jennifer? I’m sure the mission is not for us to feel sorry for them… I know they do not want our compassion & I’m glad because they seem pretty NASTY & Too Full of themselves, so it’s really not that hard to understand why their men stray… Basketball Wives is Kinda BORING.

  27. virgolady says:

Now I see why Shaunie is not in any of the episodes. These women are gossiping drama queens! No wonder they have so much trouble in their lives!! What real man would want this stuff in his household. Matt Barnes said it right when he told them not to poison his wife. He’s no fool. He saw right through all of them when they came for dinner. Just ONCE I would like to see a show where a group of black women got along and had some “class”. What is the problem?? These women have money (I think) and the lives most of us dream about and this is how they act? Sigh

  28. Ashamed says:

I flipped through the channels and stopped on VH1 to check out a show I had never heard of before, Basketball Wives. I will say this much, I am truly ashamed for all those women on the show. I have never seen a group of fake, wannabe middle aged women in my life. They are all truly a horrible representation of some people that are suppose to be “classy” Ha, nothing further from the truth. I will say that the younger one (dont know the name) but she seems to be pretty grounded and not caught up in the fake lifestyle as much as the others but only time will tell. I hope VH1 does not continue on with this horrible sham.

  29. nic says:

Im really starting to think that rayj just needs to stay off tv all together, i hope he is not as immature and naive as they portray him to be. The show is great, brandy, mom, etc, but why is he the only one always in something that doesnt represent him or his family well?

  30. faletha says:

ray j is a spoiled ~&_~`*##`)#!!%( brat an i dont like his style any more an that mother of theirs is way wrong for how she treats her daughter what the hell did brandy have to do wit the stripper but she got mad at brandy i mean are you for real Sonja you are wrong an the world saw it i dont feel you or your think he the (^)`&`%@~`!(@&`% son

  31. SHEILA D. says:

fIRST LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING EVERYONE WILL TAKE DIFFERENT THINGS OUT OF THE SHOW! i FEEL LIKE THIS WAS THEIR WAY FOR THE WORLD TO GET TO KNOW THEM INSTEAD OF JUST ALWAYS JUGDING THEM FOR WHAT THE MEDIA HAS DISPLAYED ABOUT THEM. I CAN NOT JUDGE THEM NOR ANYONE ELSE FOR I AM NOT PERFECT! MANY OF US LISTEN TO THE MEDIA AND RUN WITH IT. I LIKE RAY J, I DO NOT AGREE WITH SOME OF THE THINGS HE HAS DONE. BUT I CAN NOT DISLIKE HIM FOR THAT. DUE TO THEIR MAY HAVE BEEN SOME THINGS I HAVE SAID OR DONE THAT PEOPLE DIDN’T LIKE! aS FAR A MRS. SONJA, I THINK BEING A MOTHER IS A HARD JOB FOR HER. THE REASON I SAY THAT IS BECAUSE SHE HAS TWO CHILDREN IN THE SPOT LIGHT AND AS ANY MOTHER OUT THERE WE JUST WANT TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN. NO, MAYBE HER AND BRANDY DON’T HAVE THE MOST PERFECT RELATIONSHIP…BUT ALOT OF PEOPLE DON’T BUT WE ONLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT THEM! I KNOW I DONT HAVE HAVE A PERFECT RELATIONSHIP WITH MY MOTHER AND THEREFOR HOW CAN I JUDGE THEIRS!? LETS LOOK AT OURSELVES AND OUR SKELETONS BEFORE WE TURN THE FINGER TO POINT AND JUDGE SOMEONE ELSE…

LUV YOU ALL AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOUR BUSINESS A SUCCESS, SHEILA D.

  32. Linda says:

How is it that the women on “Basketball Wives” are not married to basketball players, Only one of them is in a relationship with a basketball player. I really hate to break this news to them but a baby momma, an ex wife, and ex- girlfriend do not a wife make
