Above is an extended look at What Chilli Wants, the upcoming VH1 series that will chronicle Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas‘ search for love/male perfection. It turns out that what Chilli wants is a laundry list of traits in a man, including charm, pork-abstinence and washboard abs. As her friend Missy Elliott puts it, “No one’s gonna meet those standards. Date Jesus!” Sounds like someone’s working on a show pitch!

I second that @Wow. Totally agree. Couldn’t say it better. You shouldn’t want or need a man to complete you. You will never be happy & will be in and out of relationships constantly if that’s the case, no matter how rich or good-looking he is. It’s something I had to figure out. Actually, we all—both men & women have to figure out. Find one who complements you. If you are not happy with yourself, how can you expect it in return? How can anyone enjoy the presence of your company when you don’t enjoy your own company? That is the missing link to the love equation. Like-minded people are attracted to like-minded people. Negative people are attracted to negative people and their drama. Just the way the Universe works. Something to think about. The storytellers have embedded in our heads & brain-washed us as young girls to believe in the fairy tales of the Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty stories. Just doesn’t work that way, not really reality. I wish Chilli the best, though!

She is so short and cute. She wants a man with high standards but who’s to say that she is high standards herself. sometimes we want more than what he are or can handle. Perfection doesn’t guarantee happiness.
I can identify with Chili. You drop your standards and you end up getting screwed. You’re not going to be 100% happy if you settle for less than what you really want. That’s me. I’m not settling. Yes I’m picky. But that’s the way I am. But I believe if we put our trust in Jesus, he will send that special one to us. We don’t have to settle. God created us that way for a reason.

This is another was ot film and time. Her mother should be ashamed of the child she raised with these UNREALISTIC ideas of what a man should be to have a relationship. Who at VH1 is green lighting these dumb (`!!($(_+!$_%!~ shows. Can any one write a book, be famous and get a show on this network. Reality television has gone too far. LisaRae, Chili, Brandy and RayJ, Basketball Wives. Do we as African Americans really need to act like the bafoons of old to get on television. We can’t get shows on network televison. I am ashamed of them all.
I watched the last show and you got too be crazy Chilli. You have to sacrafice a couple things from the list. And just by watching the show, I can tell that your BFF is your best option. Anyways, in reality they say its good when you go out with someone that you try to be their BFF. So, what’s the problem if he is already your BFF, thats a very good thing! With the whole “baby momma” that once is considerably not anything you can get away from. How about if he were to be single and no kids but he fell in your criteria, thats not fair for him, because your already a “baby momma” to someone else. Ya feel me, what I am getting at? Your expectations became “your expectations” because you didn’t have any but your way too asking for a perfect gentleman. And that my dear is way too hard to find. Chilli, I think you should give Floyd a chance. I see how both of you look at each other and have fun togehter. You can never find 100% in a man but when you find a man that loves you that is a start. Give it a chance and let the creator of your understanding guide.
