According to Jennavecia, Tool Academy 3 taught her nothing: “I listened, but the therapies were boring and a lot of things that were talked about were so irrelevant, and that’s it pretty much,” she says. “Sorry, but that’s how I really feel.” She’s not really sorry, but she’s not really right either: Tool Academy made Jennavecia less eager to talk about her housemates and to cause trouble. She doesn’t have something nice to say about them, but she’s gotten better at saying nothing at all, or at least saying less. Below Jennavecia talks about her relationship, her former housemates, and why crying doesn’t change anything.
When you left the show you didn’t ask Kyle to stay with you, you seemed very confident that he’d stay. What’s happened since then?
I am still with Kyle. We are really happy, we are going very well and I know everything’s cool.
You’re engaged, right?
Kyle and I have been engaged for a long time now and we’re going to get married. We just don’t know when, like it could be tomorrow, or it could be couple of months from now.
You live in Vegas, so it really could be tomorrow.
Yeah it can happen at any time. I’m not in any rush. My relationship with Kyle is so good right now that I couldn’t ask for anything more, so whenever it happens, it happens.
On the show you said Kyle knew you were a bit crazy, from the beginning. What was the beginning?
The first time that I met Kyle, I was doing another television reality show called Bad Girls Club and it was airing at the time when I had met Kyle. He had like 10 girls around him. As soon as I laid eyes on him, I was like, “Oh my gosh, I’m going to spend the rest of my life with this guy.” He has honest eyes. When you look at him and look in his eyes you know he’s not bulls***ting you. That was the kind of person I had been looking for. And I told him that. Granted one of [the 10 girls] could have been his girlfriend…but I didn’t care. And ever since then we have been living together, like since a month after I met him. We got our marriage license three months after we knew each other, and we are still engaged.
How long have you two been together?
A little over two years. So Kyle is definitely a good guy. I wish I would have done things different before, but whatever.
During the fidelity session, you didn’t really cry or apologize for your cheating.
Is crying really going to change anything? If you screwed up, you screwed up, you need to own up to it. I was just like, “Great, let’s talk about it, let’s get it out in the open, let’s move forward.” And if he wanted to stick around and move forward, then that was his choice. If it didn’t, I would have accepted it, but that’s why I was there.
You were so blasé about it, I thought you maybe had an open relationship.
No, we don’t have that kind of relationship. I just f***ed up, pretty much. That’s really what it comes down to.
Did you ever break down on Tool Academy?
I broke down once, when we had to draw the pictures. I love Kyle and I really care about him. I don’t care about what people think of me, especially people I don’t know. But he is part of my family and I care very much about him and I don’t want to hurt his feelings, and so it made me really upset to see him upset.
You never seemed to get jealous of the girls, the same way the Tools went crazy over Kyle sleeping in the room with their girlfriends.
The reason why everybody became so angry at Kyle is because they were threatened by him. They see this good-looking guy, this gentleman, and they know that women love guys like that. Pretty much any girl would love somebody like Kyle.
But you never worried.
He didn’t like them bitches. Those kind of girls aren’t his type. No way. I don’t really get jealous like that.
Going back to the beginning of the show, why do you think the guys pulled your bed away from theirs?
I think I was a threat to them. The whole double standard thing, it’s not right. Some people just accept it I guess. I became a ho, I became a slut, I completely understand it. What I didn’t understand is how all the guys acted more crazy just because the cameras are in front of their face. They are probably really not like that. I definitely live in a city full of douchebags and people don’t act like that.
Was there anyone you liked?
Yes, Kevin was my boy. I love them, Kevin and Jermika. Kevin was cool, I played basketball with him, chess, football…I could just have a normal conversation with him. He’s the kind of person I would hang out with.
How about Courtney?
No, Courtney wasn’t cool. Let me tell you something about Courtney: she was playing both sides. When everybody was mad at me, Courtney didn’t really want to talk to me because she was afraid everybody would trash talk her.
How was watching Sunday’s episode for you?
We don’t see what the other people said in their interviews until we actually see it on TV. And there are people that I still don’t like, like with Sunday’s episode with Dayna. It just trips me out, after watching that I was still pissed that I was sent home because she has gotten my business and I didn’t like that.
Seeing how Dayna was in the Tools’ room while you were outside, did it help you see her perspective?
Watching it just made me just want to beat her ass even more. There’s so much that wasn’t aired throughout the whole season. She had a thing for Kyle, she really did. Any girl in their right mind, any human being in their right mind, would not cry over somebody else’s relationship. That just blew my mind away. I could not even believe it, and I felt that I had every reason to get mad at her. It is hard to pretend, to be fake. For me I find it real hard. So that’s just how I reacted.
Was your anger at Dayna just misdirected anger from your argument with Kyle? You went a bit too far.
That fight with Dayna — I was courteous enough to go outside the room to just have a little argument with Kyle, and Dayna came outside the room and, not only that, was crying over my guy. I mean, are you kidding me? So I freaked out. Who wouldn’t? Why would you want to do that? And, obviously, this girl didn’t see Bad Girls Club. All of America knows I’m crazy. So, I didn’t understand it.
Did you notice that you even almost hit a crew member with that exercise ball?
I saw the whole thing with the crew member. And I just don’t remember doing all that. I was just seeing red, you know? It felt really quiet when all that was going on, even though it was loud. All I saw was red. It was a real crazy moment in my life. Definitely.
Did Tool Academy help you manage your anger?
As far as my situation with Kyle in my daily life, here’s the thing: I don’t get in any fights with Kyle. My aggression is not going to change. That’s me, I just don’t like people acting creepy.
It seems like, whether it’s Kyle’s family or Dayna, you don’t like people butting into your relationship.
A lot got back to us from what was going on in the girls’ house and vice versa. And I heard the whole tomato thing and everybody ganging up on Dayna. And then so when she moved into our house, I always had that on my mind like, “Oh, man, I hope she doesn’t act up.” And sure enough, she did. That’s all I have to say about that.
I feel like you are holding back. But it might be a good thing for you.
I guess so. Yeah, it’s a good thing. I don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings and I don’t want to keep capitalizing on a situation that happened and I don’t want to bash her. I did my thing and I’m done. I’m moving on. I don’t want to talk about people. This is how I feel and at the end of the day. I don’t want to hurt people.
So Tool Academy was helpful.
No, I don’t think any of that crap helped me, to be honest with you. I think it was all lame. It made me open my eyes a little bit more by sitting back and looking at everyone else’s problems and then looking at mine.
So how would you describe the therapy sessions?
Therapy is sitting there for long hours and listening to everyone else’s crap and watching them cry like bitches. It made me just sick to my stomach. I don’t know, i just wanted out of there. I felt so bad, I just hated the fact that I was there.
You called a lot of people bitches on the show! Even Kyle.
No, I don’t mean Kyle is my bitch! I don’t mean that. That’s just kind of a funny thing that I would say.
Now that we’re down to two Tools, who do you hope wins?
I hope Jacob wins the show for sure, because, oh God, Angelo looks like such a bitch. And his girlfriend cries as much as he does. I don’t understand! Where do you find people like that?!

Jennavaecia is emotionally stunted,she acts like a 12 with issues. Her face looks so old and does not fit the way she dresses, meaning not age appropriate. This lady has no basic manners,that every lady attains early pre teens what shocking person. I am more shocked that her boyfriend felt the need to bring her on the show it proved he has big issues,he should of dumped her. Jennavaecia family was shocking as well this lady has no chance for improvement her mother is a poor example of a lady.What I viewed “their behavior”ugly. You know, I was once a very promiscuous younger girl, In my 20s. I am not proud of that. Jenna, you have no idea how dirty and filthy you came off on that show. You say you dont care what others think, if that were true you wouldnt keep defending yourself. Kyle is a handsome , honest , caring guy, who for some reason unknown to all he loves you. You may lose him if you dont change your evil ways and when you get older, its harder and harder to meet a good man. OH, and i seen you mother, she hasnt aged well and that stuff is genetic, so if i were you i would def. knock off the bull sh– and start acting like a classy woman and not some filthy tramp who goes with any man. After the first episode I actually wanted Jennavecia to make it to the end. All of the tools had their issues and I was hoping she would change for the better. After seeing her mother and brother, I understand why she is the way she is. At least now she sees she screwed up. I wouldn’t say she was horrible, I mean, looking at people like Angelo and Jacob, they’re not great either, they still have massive problems. And I can see why Jennavecia fought Dayna, that girl had it coming. I hope one day she realizes her problems before it’s too late, cause Kyle really seems to be a great guy. This season was pathetic. None of the tools at the end deserve to be there. I think Kevin would be better in the end than anyone. The elminations were complete bull.

OMG! I had been hoping for Jennavecia to get eliminated since the very begining!!! You could tell she didn’t see anything wrong with her behaivor, so why waste any of our time? Kyle is just freaking hopeless! I don’t even know what to say about him. He has no backbone, no voice and it is pathetic!! What REAL woman would want a man like that?? Kyle deserves whatever Jennavecia throws at him (or gives him). All I can do is shake my head…. What a train wreck!
When you are taught Life is Sex, your moral values are slanted. The reason why Jevencia doesn’t care is because she was taught to not care. Sex does not mean commitment to her, and never will until she gets Sex Therapy from someone who can explain to her the stuff found in “Out of the Shadows” book (not Christian book). She was taught that men love you and you rule. Everything that one finds in those places, and the shops, and so on in her mind mean that if I’m that way, loose with my body, they’ll love me. She was taught to be loose and free with her body and to use her body to get what she wants from men. There is very little difference between a victim of sexual abuse who was abused at a very young age, and repeatedly for several years, and how Jevencia behaves. They both learn the same thing – free with body with men is the way to be. I only hope that Kyle with finally see the truth and find himself a better woman, and that Jevencia will finally hit rock bottom and search for a way out.
The sad thing is, Jennavecia has a daughter (she mentioned it more than once on BGC). She learned nothing on either show… just ‘playing the game’. Her behavior is deplorable.
