VH1 will send nine young ladies to princess rehab via You’re Cut Off!, which is set to premiere Wednesday, June 9 at 9/8c. Via the description published on the You’re Cut Off! page:
“…For these nine spoiled rotten princesses, life has never been anything but a non-stop party, filled with power shopping, mani-pedis and bottle service. All thanks to their rich mommies, daddies and other benefactors who’ve indulged their every whim.
Well no more.
Their benefactors have decided that in these tough times, enough is enough. They think it’s high time their princesses learn how to become productive members of society–not a endless drain on their finances. They’ve reached out to VH1 for help.
So when the ladies move into a house for what they think is a reality show called The Good Life, they’re actually about to be subjected to their worst nightmare: getting cut off. Completely cut off. As in stripped of all their cash and conveniences, and forced to learn how to live life the way normal people do.”
The life-strategist Laura Baron will help guide these women on the path to emancipation. An up-close look at each of the nine young women working their way out of princessdom is below…
Amber
Amber is a traditional southern belle from Savannah, Georgia. She was raised in an old plantation home by a well-regarded family. Amber admits she always judges people by what they are wearing and she doesn’t like to be seen with girls wearing cheap clothes. She loves to spend her trust fund to maintain her wardrobe and even took a semester off college to “catch up” on shopping and pamper herself. Amber’s dad has had enough. He’s cutting her off in the hope that she’ll start to apply herself and take school more seriously.
Chrissy
Chrissy is a spoiled rotten princess from Los Angeles, California. Chrissy loves to shop till she drops, but won’t be seen walking the street carrying anything but just her purse. She makes her driver carry all of her bags. Chrissy’s highest goal in life is to be married three times so she can have three fabulous weddings. It takes a lot of money to even get her to look twice at a man, and she wouldn’t entertain any proposal that didn’t come with at least a $300,000 engagement ring. Her grandmother is tired of Chrissy “acting a fool” and prays that she will learn some responsibility now that she’s been cut off.
Courtnee
Courtnee is a beauty queen from Charlotte, North Carolina. Popular around town, this self-proclaimed “it-girl” is a socialite. Courtnee says she is not a gold-digger, but insists she wouldn’t marry a man who couldn’t give her anything less than the finer things in life (i.e., jewelry, cars, clothes, and regular trips around the world). Her parents are tired of being treated like an ATM. They have traditional values and don’t understand how their “little princess” turned into such a demanding diva. Her father is cutting her off because he believes Courtnee is a talented young woman who should finally put her savvy people skills to good use.
Erica
Erica is a pampered princess from Houston, Texas, who spends over half a million dollars of her dad’s money every year while still living at home. She has her own line of bejeweled tiaras and consults her personal astrologer for every life decision, no matter how small. Erica has never cleaned anything in her life and truly believes that a maid service less than three days a week is “roughing it.” Her father is a famous plastic surgeon, and Erica can’t imagine life without regular Botox and lip injections. Now her family hopes she’ll learn the value of money and decide to make something of herself by cutting her off from her $1,000+ a day allowance.
Gia
Gia is a wife and mother from Sherman Oaks, California, who has never changed her baby’s diaper or woken up to feed her in the middle of the night. Gia cannot survive without her hookah and her beauty sleep, so her husband hires nannies and maids to save her from all the annoyances of motherhood. Gia admits that she divorced her first husband because he couldn’t maintain the lifestyle she wanted. Now her current husband is fed up with bending over backward to please her while being treated like nothing more than a bank. He’s become frustrated by her and is cutting her off as a final attempt to save their marriage and family.
Jaqueline
Jaqueline is a daughter of a successful business executive. She has three walk-in closets in her 10,000 square-foot home with a wine cellar and media room. She thinks men are superficial and pick women to date based on their looks, so she sees nothing wrong with checking out a man’s bank account before going out. Jaqueline got her first Chanel bag at age five and has gotten everything she wanted ever since. Now that she’s graduated college, her parents are cutting her off to stop her endless partying and reckless spending.
Jessica
Jessica is a princess from the Jersey Shore. She’s loud, she’s Italian and she doesn’t care what people think about her. Jessica shops so much her mother had to recently convert a spare bedroom into an extra walk-in closet for her stuff. She doesn’t cook, she doesn’t clean, and her parents have always paid for everything. After a lifetime of being pampered, her mother wants to cut her off to teach her how to survive on her own.
Leanne
Supported entirely by her father, Leanne is a diva from Sherman Oaks, California. When she didn’t like the color of the Mercedes S-Class her dad bought her, she decided to buy a $375,000 Ferrari when he was out of town. Within weeks, she had crashed the Ferrari. Leanne doesn’t leave the house without her entourage of eight: her best friend, her hair and makeup artist, and her six bodyguards. But the cars, the entourage and fabulous lifestyle are getting shut down because Leanne’s father has grown tired of her spending his hard-earned money.
Pamela
Pamela is a New Yorker who says she used to be a princess, but has upgraded herself to queen. From furs to yachts to the finest champagne, Pamela knows how to spend her family’s money. Her family is fed up with her endless demands. They’re cutting her off in the hopes that she spends time to make something of herself.

Congrats girls!! I was so excited to see all yall graduate and finally all get together. lol man Gia was all bugaboo with everyone’s family, but it was neat to see her socialize and get along with everyone and there families. I think Gia is beautiful, but what is she thinking not taking care of her husband and daughter? I am a 24 yr old mother of 2, my son is 3 and my daughter is almost 2. I live to take care of them and my 43 yr old husband. I cook, clean, take care of the house and kids all day and Im a full time student by night. It’s really hard but thats what were supposed to do, and I love every minute of it. Her husband could do a heck of a lot better!!

Wait… isn’t “Erica” the same girl from the bachelorette (who went by the name of Amber Rose) but was also from Houston and going to law school… Reality TV is so FAKE!!!! These girls most likely don’t even come from money, but can just act spoiled.
Who is this “life coach” Laura Baron? What are her credentials? I’ve never seen a less competent life counselor than her. She let anybody manipulate her as long as they said what SHE wanted to hear. I’ve been working in human services for over 10 years, and Laura Baron has done more to damage that profession on this one show than anyone I can think of. As long as these women parroted back what Ms. Baron wanted to hear and paid lip service to her, she would eat it up. She was never able to understand that actions, not words, show progress. As far as I can tell, she must have studied those old Saturday Night Live skits where Nora Dunn played a counselor and all she’d do was tell the person to stand in front of a mirror and say, “LOOK at yourself,” over and over to learn her life coaching style. Laura Baron makes Dr. Phil’s shenanigans look like pure genius. If you noticed the follow-ups, not one of these women made any real progress in the entire time they were on the show. This suggests Laura Baron failed completely. For all the ladies on “You’re Cut Off,” I am reminded of a very old song by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention entitled “What’s the Ugliest Part of Your Body.” The entire song is as follows:

First off I would like to know why we could not see ALL the parents/families give their terms!!! What happened here???
Also, I would like to say that Erica was annoying and after seeing her Mom…I know where she is getting it from. Maybe Erica’s Dad should not just cut Erica off, but the Mom too. Maybe they could be on a show together called “Plastic Surgery gone wrong on so many levels” LOL.
I think Gia had a moment or two on the show where she was nice and thought about others, but the rest of the time I thought she was a _#&+*%(^~~+()!@`@ What I can’t believe is that all these women think they are super hot looking. LOOK AGAIN!!! There are women out there that look a thousand-times better than you, not only on the outside. It is time for you to get a grip and find out that money does not grow on trees…people have to work hard for it. Maybe your benefactors should start giving you “allowances” based on what you do to help out: Scrubbing Toilets $5, Mopping the floor $8, doing laundry $10….maybe that would teach you something.

I really enjoyed the show. I have watched it from beginning to end and I think all the girls are sexy in their own way. What happened with Chrissy? Her attitude was really uncalled for. She is a brat and will always be a brat. The rest of the girls I hope they really learned something and don’t take things for granted. Dear Gia my name is labresha and I want to start off by saying. that I comend you for telling youre personall story about you and what you went threw with post partmn depresion but I don’t think that you have received the proper treatment for your disease I don’t think that you realize the seriousness of this matter it is so bad that you can not change your child’s diaper. I have foure beutifull children and the only thing that I can get out of that is how would you feel if that one diaper you decided not to change and the person who did were to harm your child look I am not trying to be rude to you but you really need to let yourself go and let your motherly instink kick and let me also let you know that you are not a bad mother but you really need to get help so that you can be the best mother you have the funds and a wonderfull husband to live the american dream many people including my self wish that they could have that and with that being said good luck and love!
I watched the program and thought, well maybe some will learn and some will not, but at least they have the skills and all they have to do is act on it. I do hope that all the women can live up to their decision on living independently and doing things on their own and then they can see how liberating it is to be independent. As for Gia, I am sure that she will do fine, I have faith in her. Gia went through a rough experience after giving birth to her child and I do understand that and know how it is with Postpardum depression. I’m sure when she doesn get help she will be just fine, I can tell that she wants to do but she needs time with this and understanding. She’s in her 20s and has went through this with her child, but imagine being 17yrs. old and having the postpardum depression I thanked GOD for my mom & dad and my sisters and brother for their support because it was rough and some didn’t understand the pressure, but I did it it didn’t take long, like 6 months, but after I was always there for my daughter doing what I am suppose to do and now my daughter who 29 with two beautiful sons my grandsons, she is my rock she is my angel my love of my life. Did we have our mother daughter problems, of course we did, but always I always tell her that I love her very much and that I am only here to teach her and love her and make sure that she becomes an independent woman with good morals and good work ethnics(spl ?) and yeah my love has all of those things and I am so happy because of her. Gia, if you read this and I hope you do I want to say that I have faith in you and I know you will do very well and I know you will be a great mom to your daughter, don’t worry just you go and do what is necessary for you to do in order to get your life back on track and you will see that you will be wonderful, I will say a prayer for you and your daughter, you will see that all the hard work you put in for your daughter will be worth it, and then you will say that your daughter is your love your rock your everything, just like I say to my daughter and how I say about my mom, she is my rock my love my everything, mom will always be there for you no matter what, and believe me I gave my mom hell, but no matter what she was there, of course I get punished or spanked when I get out of controlled but afterward I learned and well I come from a Hispanic family and well my mom & dad don’t play so yeah I had to learn fast, so yeah by 11 yrs old I was cooking for my family of 7 and doing chores, so yeah I learned. I thank GOD for my parents for being there and being strict when needed to and it all worked out. Gia, you will do fine, stay strong be nice to people and your family and most of all be good to yourself, don’t doubt yourself you are capable to do anything your hearts desire.

These girls are all crazy living off other people to maintain there lifestyle its crazy. They need to wake up and live in the real world their parents are to blame b/c there the owns that got them like that. My kids understand at an early age you will not always get what you want but you will always have what you need, me and momma rich ya’ll broke but I will give you all the tools to make your own money. Interesting show though , amazing how some people live. Their reaction to the house they had to live in was funny. That house and that kitchen is ten times nicer than mine , yet they called that ” ghetto .”

My mom and I sat down to watch an episode and thought it would be awesome to make a show where the parents take care of someone’s kids who were never exposed to getting anything they ask for. maybe this would show the girls how good they’ve really had it and how appreciative they really should have been. just an idea….thought i’d share. ;)
Laughing so hard. I have seen it all now. Never seen so many fake people gathered in one place. Reminds me of the special people we have like Paris Hilton and her friend(whatever her name was)showing off the nasty foul that they have. Could we get this advertised, could not imagine having this televised all around the world. Looking forward to laughing at these people as usual. If it wasnt for the rich who would we have to laugh and point fingers at(like going to the zoo)?
