When You’re Cut Off‘s Erica Rose was in New York to film The Wendy Williams Show, I stole a little of her time for an interview of our own. Above, Erica lounges in a hotel room while she talks about reality TV being her “calling in life,” her winking approach to her craft and how, just as Warren Beatty suggested about Madonna in Truth or Dare, she doesn’t want to live off camera. It was good that Rich pointed out Erica didn’t take things too seriously and that she was in on the joke (which she definitely is). That was one of my favorite things about Erica–girls would get so riled up over things that she was doing that were obviously jokes.
I hope Vh1 finds a way to bring her back again and again, because she is one of the more compelling characters they’ve had in the last year, especially with the separation from the Flavor of Love universe.
I really like Erica, she was my favorit person on “your cut off”. Erica keeps on talking about law school, but the question is did she finish the 4 years of university?
She’s in her late 20s, it’s too late for her to be a real actress. And if she didn’t live off of her parents, she wouldn’t be a “reality tv star” because she would need a JOB….She cannot act, she isn’t good drama, she is only good for snobby comments that are fed to her b y the producers. I don’t care that she’s rich and blonde, but if VH1 is going to typecast by physicality, could they AT LEAST pick someone entertaining who can come up with better remarks than “get botox”? Her face is FROZEN, no wonder she can’t get REAL acting jobs!!
Sorry VH1, she’s boring and transparent and nobody would ever watch a show that was JUST based around her life – which is the true mark of a “reality tv star”
