VH1 is getting into the game-show…game by picking up the next season of Don’t Forget the Lyrics (premiering Monday, September 20 at 7/6c). This time, it has a new host, Mark McGrath. Details in the mini-press release below.
Don’t Forget the Lyrics! is a musical game show that tests contestants’ knowledge of song lyrics from different genres, decades and artists. Don’t Forget the Lyrics! is the ultimate rock-star fantasy, taking people on a heart pounding, roller-coaster ride of music and edge-of-your seat entertainment. This season kicks off Monday, September 20 at 7 PM ET/PT with new host Mark McGrath. Don’t Forget the Lyrics! brings ordinary people center stage for a chance to win a fortune, just by knowing the words to the biggest hit songs ever recorded. Sit back, turn up the volume, and get ready to sing along to the biggest hit songs of all time! But, if you want to be successful in this game, there is one thing you have to remember… Don’t Forget The Lyrics!

How do I get on? When it was on fox, I filled out the app, sent the tape and they called me saying I was being considered for next season. Then it went off the air! I want on this show so, so bad! Please tell us how to apply

(I actually loved wheh he cleaned up on Rock ‘N Roll Jeopardy) if that show was still around I feel I could compete very well on it as well. Not to mention that World Series of Pop Culture show :).
