Shaq and Hoopz Engagement Rumors, Round Two

A few weeks back, we clued you in to rumors floating around the Tennessee area that Shaquille O’Neal and Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander got engaged. We reached out to our old friend Hoopz for comment, but she never returned our messages, so we just chalked up the stories as grist for the gossip mill.

However! According to a blog post filed on MediaTakeOut.com today, the site “can OFFICIALLY CONFIRM that the two ARE ENGAGED!!!” (Note: Usage of capital letters and extraneous exclamation points theirs). According to a MediaTakeOut source, Hoopz and Shaq Daddy were both in attendance at a “family event” over the weekend — it is not clear from the story whose family this was, exactly — and the Flavor Of Love season one winner was “going around the room, flashing her HUGE engagement ring.” Now, we wouldn’t even bother passing this along to you if not for the fact that the site has pictures of said ring, pics that we have below:
