Michael Bublé scored himself the biggest pop hit of his young career earlier this year with “Just Haven’t Met You Yet,” the first single off his Crazy Love LP. Just in time for the holidays, he’s re-releasing the album along with a brand new, 8-song EP called Crazy Love Hollywood Edition. The new EP’s first single is its title track, “Hollywood,” in which Bublé warns that pursuing fame and fortune in today’s TMZ/Radar Online/Perez Hilton culture isn’t as valuable as finding your own inner strength. If you find this statement to be somewhat ironic coming from Bublé, you’re not alone: As much as we love him, it’s a difficult task to listen to this kind of rhetoric coming from a dude whose dating history is riddled with the likes of Emily Blunt and Argentinian supermodels.
That said, the video — which comes complete with Bublé’s best Justin Bieber imitation — is quite fun, and will no doubt be a mainstay of our weekly Top 20 Video Countdown for weeks to come. Enjoy!
