If you’re curious about what to expect from RuPaul’s Drag Race 3 (premiering Monday, January 24 at 10/9c on Logo), you should be following Logo’s NewNowNext blog. It really is the Internet’s one-stop shop for Drag Race info. But just in case you haven’t been keeping up with the developments, a few are listed below (and above — I mean, the fact that RuPaul clearly loves Burlesque has little to do with the upcoming season but everything to do with the natural order of the universe because duh: of course he does):
- The 90-minute premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race 3 at 10/9c on January 24 will be preceded by a one-hour casting special at 9/8c and followed by a 30-minute episode of Untucked at 11:30/10:30c– that’s three queening hours of Drag Race on premiere night!
- The list of guest stars/judges has been announced and it is full of campy iconography: La Toya Jackson (!!!), Billy B., Wayne Brady, Margaret Cho, Eliza Dushku, Carmen Electra, Fantasia, Gigi Levangie Grazer, Debbie Matenopoulos, Arden Myrin, Sharon Osbourne, , Amber Rose, Rita Rudner, Sara Rue, Mike Ruiz, Chloë Sevigny, Cheryl Tiegs, Lily Tomlin, Alessandra Torresani, Aisha Tyler, Bruce Vilanch, Jody Watley, Johnny Weir, Vanessa Williams and Susan Powter, who will obviously continue and not stop the insanity this time around.
- A brief season preview has been released. It is, obviously and fiercely ridiculous:
This post is more stuffed than a drag queen’s bra. That’s it for now, but for up-to-the-minute Drag Race news, make sure you check out NewNowNext.
