Had Dr. Drew not contracted Leptospirosis, and had the Celebrity Rehab reunion taped last week as planned, the show might have turned out to be a bit different than what we’re currently expecting for tonight’s live broadcast (airing at 10/9c). As Radar Online reports, Janice Dickinson initially refused to take part in the taping when her demands to be paid twice what everyone else was fell on deaf ears. But over time, she relented and does plan to attend tonight’s taping. That, in turn, has caused its own set of drama — we hear that when it was finally announced that Janice would be making it onto set, Rachel Uchitel then announced that she was bowing out of the taping, only then to change her own mind. You may remember that Rachel had some pointed words for Janice when we interviewed her in December:
“Listen, she said a lot of bad things about me on the show, not on the show, whatever. I made an effort to be her friend, but I hold my friends in high esteem. Especially after what’s happened to me in the past year, I pick them very wisely. She’s not capable of being my friend right now.”
We’re very interested to see just how incapable of getting along they both are tonight.

thank goodness that these folks are willing to bare their souls… it gives other addicts the courage to go through the treatment because they see that people can get through it, even when they are truly at the bottom
Janice, Please do not let your life be about the money! You appear 15 years younger now, and speak more softly. Most important to those of us who have admired you in the past, you seem to be so much more human and womanly, than ever before….Love to see this beautiful and miraculous change in you. God Bless you, and Bless Dr Drew for his amazing work.
Awesome !!
JANICE, I AM THE MOST CONNECTED WITH YOUR STORY. YOU ARE A VERY BRAVE WOMAN TO VUNERBLIZE YOUR DEMONS. I AM ALSO A XANAX, VALIUM, ANYTHING THAT WILL TAKE THE PAIN OF DOMESTIC ABUSE FROM MY MOTHER. SHE’S STABBED 3 MEN “DADS” WITH KNIVES AS I WAS GROWNING UP. THENWHEN I GOT TO BE IN MY TEENAGE YEARS SHE TURNED AGAINST ME. BEAT ME ON A DAILY BASIS. I USED PILLS TO FORGET THE PAIN-KNOCK MYSELF OUT AND GO TO SLEEP. i STRUGGLE DAILY WITH THIS. YOU ARE ANY INSPIRATION.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COURAGE. TAMMIE P IN PANAMA CITY FL
Poor Frankie – still not sober!!!! I was so pulling for her….
I watch the Intervention show on A & E and the addicts always goes to detox first if they need it, then rehab for a minimum of 2 months but usually 3 months. Then they go to sober living. So how come on Celebrity Rehab they only stay 21 days?
For what its worth, I pray for each and one of you. I pray that you each will beat this addiction. But Jeremey has really touched me more than anyone else. Because of your family and wife had done to you. I just wanted to reach through the screen and hug you to all the pain went away. I am proud of each and everyone of you. May you all find true peace and happiness.
Frankie is a relapse away from death….she says she has a family crisis…SHE is in a crisis, and her family sould band together and understand that…..how is she supporting herself….she needs to TAKE CARE of HERSELF…she is unable to take care of herself…what makes her BELIEVE she can hel others…
PLEASE, FRANKIE, PLEASE…ANY alcohol, whether it be beer, wine, whiskey, etc. YOU CANNOT TOLERATE ANY OF IT IN YOUR LIFE!
My father died from cirrhosis of the liver…he only drank beer, not “hard liquor.” He tried non-alcoholic beer…it made him want the real thing, so he relapsed over and over again. I watched my father die…please, don’t put your children through the same thing.
I’m praying for all of you on the show tonight; but, I am saying a special prayer for Frankie because she still needs help in understanding alcoholism.
It all seems good, however Frankie, it works if you work it!….you cannot help anyone else unless you help yourself…..as far as I can see….you are the one in crisis! with love, D
Love Eric Roberts on my favorite soap Young and the Restless!!!!!!!!!!!
Is Eric Roberts sober??
DR. DREW, I HAVE TO SAY WHAT A RUN. THE EMOTIONS THIS TIME OUT WAS LIKE A ROLLER COASTER AND I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT EVERYONE DID SO WELL, I AM SO PROUD OFF THEM ALL. JANET OVER CAME SO MUCH I JUST HOPE THAT SHE CAN OVER COME HER HOLLYWOOD WORTH MORE THEN OTHERS,AND THAT SHE SEES THAT SHE IS EQUAL TO USE ALL. THEN THE ONE THAT MADE ME CRY THE MOST RACHAEL. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HER AND DR, DREW I HAVE A COLLECTOR’S COIN SET THAT IS HARD TO FIND, IT IS MADE OF 99.99 PURE SILVER AND GOLD THAT CAME FROM THE TWIN TOWERS WITH CERTIFICATS. DR. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SHE WOULD LIKE THEM AND HOW I WOULD GET THEM TOO HER. CAN I SEND THEM TOO YOU AT THE PASSADINA RECOVERY CENTER FOR YOU TO GIVE THEM TO HER IF SHE WOULD LIKE. I JUST THOUGHT IT WOULD GIVE HER A PEACE OF MIND TO HAVE SOMETHINGG FROM THE TOWERS THAT SHE CAN FEEL CLOSE TO HER FEANCE. AGAIN DR. DREW YOU OUT DID YOUR SELF AND SO DID ALL OF THE CLIENTS
this is for janice, i too took doctors prescribed xanax and ambien for years. i also did not know what i was doing to myself. benzo withdrawl is by far the worst and the longest and the most painful of any type of withdrawl. i it makes hardcore heroine addicts in withdrawl look like pussys. good for you for reaching the other side!
To Dr Drew, Shelli, Bob, Helen and all the crew…
I have listened to Dr Drew on the radio for years. Even as a nurse I had no idea the extent to your work. I am impressed by your dedication. To the stars who bare their lives – THANK YOU. You highlite the DISEASE within – not the weakness for drugs. In everyone’s struggle – there is a reason… The compassion shared in this show is nothing more than inspiring. This is Reality TV at its best.
Janice, I think it was hardest for you to do this. I did not like you until you bared your soul here. Please leave the drama behind and open your arms to embrace those around you – I think you have a huge capacity to help this world.
Dr Drew, again – it is an honor to watch you and your wonderful colleagues. I look forward to this show each week.
KH
Absolutely correct Dr. Drew….the family becomes sicker than the addict…co-addicts, hence family disease….however often times, they feel it is ” not their problem”, however, what role are they playing in these relationships; are you a rescuer, enabler, superman/woman…..because everyone in this sick relationship are meeting needs for themselves….this family disease….Thanks Dr. Drew for bringing this to light…even whith dealing with your OWN frustrations…difficult client population to work with…
I will say what I said before, Jason Davis, you can do it!!!! Frankie, you can still maintain true sobriety!! One day at a time!!! Janice, my most unfavorite person on the show but amazing that you have been sober, keep up the good work!!! Jeremy, how amazing you are and good luck with your son! This was such a great show! You all are so amazing! Please feel as lucky as you are also to have this kind of treatment too!!! The reality of this is for the rest of the people who need this treatment, it doesn’t involve being able to smoke, or even having caffeine. I wish you all could see how lucky you really are!!! Maybe you will!!! Good luck to all on your maintained sobriety!!!
Glad to hear Jeremy is doing better, but my girlfriends step dad claimed to be kidnapped several times while out using crack. He is in prison now for life with no parole for murdering the neighbor while trying to get money for another fix, before the crack he was a great guy, NO One BUYS THAT I WAS FORCED TO DO DOPE STORY! you are quiting the dope so just come clean and end the lie, It would be easier for people in your life to forgive you If you just tell the whole truth. Best of luck to all of you!!
Frankie the trick is changing people places and things. No one is more important than youErick Roberts I’m so proud of you been following your career all my lif and I know you can do It!
I can totally relate to Janice’s situation as far as the menopause and the sleeping pills are concerned.
My question is how is she doing as far as sleeping goes? Is she able to sleep naturally without any kind of prescription drug?
Kindly let me know if it’s feasible, to deal with insomnia, related to menopause.
I must admit that I think I like the men on your staff due to the fact that they seem to have been through old time, raw and cut treatment. I am proud to annouce that as of today I have over 22 years of clean time. It took about a year in Phoenix House to realize that I could never get high again. I cried like a baby ( it was like saying oodbye to your best friend forever). I believe that we all have another run but, I know that I don’t have another recovery. It is said that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle, I believe my faith and recovery is being tested. On August 10, 2009 my oldest son took his own life ( no child should ever go before their parents). I am not afraid of losing my sobriety (my mind maybe). I get recovery! My bottom was far and hard. I always said that my sobriety was the hardest thing that had ever happen to me..No way in HELL! There is no greater pain and loss than the one of my son. I have never felt pain like this..This pain has gone through the deapths of my heart and soul. Maybe I am crying out to you Dr. Drew but, oddly enough not for my sobriety, however, with my grief and the fact that I keep beating myself up on not following my gut feelings with my sons suicide..Treatment works if you work it! You have to go after sobriety like how you go after your drugs!
I wish all that are looking for sobriety get it. God Bless!
I ended up following this show and was very into it. I’m so happy for this reunion to see how these individuals are progressing. They all look great, with the exception of Lief Garrett, who seems to be disquised. Was he under the influence of something that caused his recent accident? There are definetely a couple that you have to wonder if they will make it tho. Dr Drew, you are awesome.
Frankie is making tooooooooooo many excuses!
Best of luck to everyone,it took so much courage to bare your life to the world,I wish I was able to do that.
janice should be greatful and give back,if wanting to be paid double to show up tonight at the show, she has a much bigger problem!!!! that’s the problem now the wrong bit$$ s with money
Janice,
I am so proud of your recovery! I have watched you on tv and related to some of the things you’ve been through. I can’t wait to see what’s next for you. God bless!
I am a single mom, long, long story short, abused as a child, married at 18 to be abused, re-married to be abused again, almost killed. 2 Beautiful boys are the only happiness I have. Over the years, to release stress, I would go out and drink with my friends.
Recently, over the last year, I have taken myself off Effexor (dr prescribed) and am weaning myself off Xanex, so, I am a nurse, but cannot afford any kind of outside, professional help. I cannot deal with all my un happiness, and any stress. i dont know what is happening to me!
I have been helped by Janice, and her de-tox off xanex, but i dont have anyone in my life who can assist my broken heart.
Please, know how much this show has aided me to look into myself. I DVR the show now as the only source of therapy I get
Thank you, and if you have any adice for me, PLEASE help.
Dianna
Frankie, please take care of yourself then you will be able to better take care of others, much love to you.You look great.
i agree with msdivaaj dr.drew needs to get someone without the money are fame i think it wuld be a great help.
I’ve been doin multiple drugs, for multiple years, and never do it 2 days in a row, i choose when i want to take them and make sure i am never using it to fill in any void. Free will and the power to continually choose freely is the only thing that matters when dealing with addiction, it has nothing to do with genes, what drug it is or anything. I’ve done DMT and other strong hallucinogens that have helped me more than any other personal experience in life. I understand how important the “other” person is to subjectivity and wouldn’t have had i not done these drugs. Drugs are always labeled as bad, but abuse is bad drugs aren’t, they might have a high potential for abuse, but it doesn’t mean you’ve already lost…shows like this make semi-addicts, or initial users, feel as if they have lost already, so might as well do more… It disheartens me to know that people are so worried about the drugs and not the individual. Awareness is an important part of life, and unfortunately one of the easiest ways to experience or become “more” aware, is through drugs. As a global community we need to encourage others that they can beat anything at any time, no matter how far addicted or lost they might be. The minute they realize their potential they’ve already beaten the drug, keep preaching that I have a”disease” and before you know it I “will” believe that I have one. if freedom=absolute, so is responsibility, the way to preserve the “ego” or subjectivity, is not to preserve my own because I would come into conflict with yours, the goal is to preserve subjectivity for all, so that we can all be free subjects, preserve subjectivity not the ego.
I think that some of the people on the stage are not being true to themselves regarding their sobriety. Jason Davis and Frankie need more help and could someone shut Janice up so other people can actually talk.
I think that sobriety is a tough thing for anyone to follow through with after years of drug abuse but for those who choose sobriety there are so many rewards! I pray for all of you, and hope that your lives are filled with new sober memories that you can all look back on and be proud!
Dr Drew; Why is this inpatient program only 20+ days & not 45, 60 or a 90 day program?
Getting and staying sober is the most important thing. Relapsed after 3 months sober. Picks up where you quit. Sober for almost 31 years. Without meetings a sponsor and being with friends that supported my sobriety and family of course I would not be here today.
Dr. Drew is really good. I fought treatment first 2 weeks I was in treatment. My counsellor threatened to throw me out. After family days the light bulb came on.
Stick with the winners and you will succeed plus with your Higher POwer.
Dear Dr, Drew,
I’m proud to say that I have been Straight and Sober for 27 years plus and I’m very proud of my
accomplishment. It’s a one day at a time fight for me and has been for a long time, there is nothing out there I haven’t done, drugs and drinking. I did it the hard way COLD TURKEY, it was a rough first 3 months. Now on to you, I think what you do is tremendous and your a great Human beaning saving people’s lives. Once again I have watched every one of your shows sence you started this show, Please keep up the good work helping people to get straight and sober. I still to this day sponger people that need help and still find it rewarding when I can help someone get back on track. I would love to be a member of your staff.
Best wishes and God Bless,
Joseph B. Whitman III
WHY was it not addressed on the Reunion that Jason Davis had entered another rehab..then left..and O’D as recently as a couple weeks ago????
And then his supposedly room-mate (the other Jason) said Davis was doing OKAY???
Clearly Mr. Davis STILL desperately needs MAJOR HELP and is NOT being completely honest with anyone!
So, Dr Drew said about 83 times that the show was live…then why was Jason Davis bleeped three times???
janice you look great eric looks good too. he really needs a big hug.
it i so sad that lief garrett cant seem to get it together. he needs to learn to love himself. when i was a young girl i loved leif, he was the pin up of the day. please leif do it for yourself if not do it for your dieing mom. i still care.
i believe that janice is one of the few on this show who is truly commited to her sobriety. she wants help and she is trying to help others realize they need sobriety as well. she is an amazing person and i support her and applaud her for her hardwork, effort, and passion to change her life not only for her, but her family and others
Pretty impressive post. I just came across your site and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. Any way I’ll be coming back and I hope you post again soon.
