Special Sneak Peek At The New Sara Bareilles Music Video, “Uncharted”

UPDATE: Now featuring a special greeting from Miss Sara Bareilles herself!

If you were paying attention back when Sara Bareilles was our July 2010 Posted artist, you’ll recall that she had a very difficult time writing the material that would ultimately make up her second studio album, Kaleidoscope Heart. In one of her entries that month, she candidly admitted that “As the time passed, I slowly started writing again, and truly amazed myself with just how horrible the songs were. And then the fear set in.”

Well, we hate to cut to the chase, but Spoiler Alert! She was able to conquer that fear, get over her case of writer’s block and pen the exceptional Kaleidoscope Heart, which spawned the #26 video in VH1’s Top 40 videos of 2010, “King Of Anything.” Speaking of writer’s block, that’s precisely what her latest single, “Uncharted,” is about. And, we’re presuming, the familiar subject matter is why she was able to convince artists like Josh Groban, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, and more to appear in her star-studded new video.

The full clip won’t debut online until next Tuesday, March 1, (after which it will subsequently appear on our VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown show) but we’ve got a special 30-second clip to show you today. What celebrity musicians (and possible fellow writer’s block sufferers) can you spot?

UPDATE: And here’s that special Sara Bareilles intro!
