Mashonda Will Not Be Returning To Love & Hip Hop

Mashonda Tifrere has announced that she will not appear on season two of Love & Hip Hop. The woman who was so good at giving her best pal Emily Bustamante relationship advice on the show because of her own struggle with heartache, has decided that the show’s drama wasn’t her cup of tea. Mashonda was able to help Emily through her relationship troubles with Fabolous after her own divorce from Swizz Beatz.

Mashonda says “I really honestly did do the show to help Emily and help women across the United States, to let them know that you’re not the only one that can go through something like this [divorce and heartbreak],” but she says “I just don’t feel like at this point in my life, Love & Hip Hop represents who I am, it’s just a chapter that is over…

“When I shot the show, I thought that it was going to be like more of a sisterhood, but when I saw a lot of the drama and the beef, I was a little surprised, I was like wow, okay, I didn’t know this was going to be a part of what this is.”

Not sure if this means Emily will have to wing it on her own from now on (if there is in fact a season two of the show), but hopefully the ladies will address Mashonda’s departure from the show and all the drama during their reunion show, which airs Monday May 16.

i’m with mashonda, the show is too ghetto. thats why i do not like todays rap, chrissy and her man and olivia are straight ghetto, i would never buy anything he make, i do not like when another sister try to stop another womans progress, and that is what chrissy did to somaya. she let her jealousy get in the way of her man making money just because she didn’t like somaya. that is not whats up. you suppose to futher your mans career, not harm it, and a woman is never suppose to ask a man to marry them, that is so embarrassing. if a man does not ask you, then that means either he is not ready, or he just don’t want to marry you. its so clear, never stoop so low were as you have to ask a man to marry you ladies, do not take chrissy’s way. these young girls today have no morales or principles, and pride.
