Wedding Wars Finale: The Battle Ends On May 16

For the past nine weeks, twelve couples have been battling it out in the jungle of Hawaii engaged in the most fierce competition of all, Wedding Wars. (As someone who has planned a wedding under completely average circumstances, with no jungles or obstacle courses involved, we just need to say that these folks are more dedicated to having the greatest day of their lives than we can comprehend.)

Three couples have made it to the finale, and there’s only one challenge —involving treadmills floating in the middle of the ocean, so you know it’s going to be good— standing between one lucky couple and their dream wedding. Mario and Melinda, Joseph and Elsie, and Rich and Marina have made it this far, but who will make it to the very end? Find out when the finale airs on Monday, May 30 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.

I just wanted to say that I think this is a great show for giving couples the opportunity to compete to win their dream wedding. HOWEVER, I am really disappointed and in disbelief at how the winners are chosen. The whole time these couples are bustin their ass in a race against other couples, to find out that it all boils down to the couples that have been voted off the show as to whether you win or not. That is just stupid. I really don’t agree with how the winner is chosen….isn’t this a competition? Knowing that the winners are chosen this way, I will no longer watch the show or any upcoming seasons. Thanks for listening.

I was happy with the Final 2 although I wanted Rich and Marina to win. I wonder how couples like Mario/Melinda and Jemol/Yolanda have adjusted since the game ended. The way these couples conducted themselves on the show was disgraceful. If any of them were unemployed before going on the show I can’t imagine any employers hiring them now. Jemol and Yolanda were total buffoons and a disgrace to the military. Mario and Melinda bragged about being underhanded and deceptive, but the jokes on them because potential employers have access to the internet and will be able to see them in action.
