Premiere: Dave Grohl Takes A “Walk” Through New Foo Fighters Video

|

Ready kids? It’s time once again for the best kind of Foo Fighters video: the high concept comic Foo Fighters video!

“Walk” is very much in the vein of Airplane! parody “Learn to Fly,” but also features the recurring character of “mild-mannered Dave Grohl.” Here, he finds himself in the nightmare that opens , only he can’t fly away, so he walks out of Fellini and into Falling Down.

Of course, the Foos’ version of a mild-mannered guy who cracks up and goes vigilante in Los Angeles is a bit less drastic than the Michael Douglas film it references. For comparison:

The rest of the band play multiple roles, though Pat Smear may have the best set of characters, including a recalcitrant convenience-store clerk whom Grohl whips with beef jerky, and, since no high-concept Foos video is complete without cross-dressing, a female driver in the opening traffic sequence.
