There’s a reason they call groups of organized criminals a “family,” and often the family business gets passed down to the next generations, but Mob Wives star Renee Graziano‘s son AJ has no interest in following in those footsteps.
AJ Pagan told HollywoodLife.com “I’m never joining the lifestyle,” mainly because as a kid, it was difficult for him to see his father, Junior Pagan, locked up for so much of his life. “It’s hard not seeing him, but I have to deal with it,” he says. “I did it before for a long time. Him going away for a couple of months isn’t as big of a deal as him going away for years. When I used to go visit my dad and saying goodbye — that was the hardest thing. I was 5 or 6 and he was gone for 6 years.”
AJ, 17, plans to attend college for engineering to stay on the straight and narrow, which couldn’t make his parents happier. He notes that the key piece of advice his father has given him is “don’t be stupid and don’t get in trouble.”
