Drita D’Avanzo’s One Regret? Not Playing Professional Soccer

When you’re up close and personal with Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo, the two things you notice are that she’s gorgeous in person and that she has biceps that could crack walnuts. (We bet those raccoons in her yard would love that.)

But Drita told us that those biceps are the product of years of training implemented by her father. She explained, “I know he was training me for playing World Cup Women’s Soccer and being a professional athlete, he didn’t know he was straight up training a soldier.” Yes, Drita told us she was scouted for the Women’s World Cup team as a teen, but she says “I chose the wrong path. It was either get married and have kids or sacrifice everything and dedicate your time to become a professional soccer player.”

Check out the video for more from Drita, including her thoughts on the “unhappy” haters who criticize the show, and her love of NKOTB singer Jordan Knight. Drita also hinted on Twitter today that she’s working on her own website, Drita.com, launch date TBD. In the meantime, catch her on Mob Wives Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

I can’t stand Drita!!!! All she does is talk about how she can beat someone’s azz but never does anything but talk about it! I can’t stand females like that. STOP ALL THE TALKING AND DO SOMETHING!

Drita is my favorite mob wife because she tells it like it is. Yes she chose the wrong path (according to her) but she doesnt glamorize it. She repeatedly states where she made errors in her life and in the lives around her. She doesnt need to go around fighting anymore because she learned to do better and focus on being an example for her kid. To the moron, TJ, that stated she needs to stop talking and do something, I would say grow the hell up. There is more strength in character than in muscles and Drita has tons of it. It takes a strong woman to admit her mistakes and still remain loyal, a good mom, and a friend who has your back.

They say when you are always closing your arms it means your protective of yourself and stand offish and don’t let people in lightly. I see she does this alot. She is a beautiful honest woman with a good head on her shoulders.
