June Ambrose has just come off her latest job as the wardrobe stylist for The X Factor, and she’s not slowing down one bit. The stylist to the stars has her own show, Styled By June, premiering in March on VH1, and her styling services are in high demand. Today, Ambrose appears in the New York Times in an article about the cult of “power stylists” and the importance they can have on a star’s career. Ambrose is quoted as saying “The red carpet is where people position themselves or re-emerge into the marketplace,” which is a key element to her new show. On the program, Ambrose will work with celebs who want to re-brand themselves and receive a full image makeover. (We’re not at liberty to say who will be appearing on the show just yet, but Ambrrose has been dropping hints on Twitter…)
Ambrose herself knows the importance your look can have on the public, the paper calls her out for her own signature style, which often includes turbans and flashy sunglasses. She puts it best when she says “I see myself as a star in a roomful of stars.” And we can’t wait to see more of this star when Styled By June premieres.
