What do your favorite VH1 celebs listen to when they’re in the mood for love? Sexy, sexy songs, my friends. Want to know who told us that they consummated their marriage while listening to The Isley Brothers‘ “Between The Sheets”? Or who said that the Dave Matthews Band‘s “Dream Girl” reminds them of falling in love? Check out the list below, and have a very happy Valentine’s Day from VH1!!
“Come Inside” by Intro, “Feenin’” by Jodeci, “A Song For You” by Donny Hathaway, “Love Under New Management” by Miki Howard, “5 Miles to Empty” by Brownstone, “Have You Ever Been Loved” by Monifah
I must admit I am a hopeless romantic even though this year I don’t have a Valentine. I still believe in the holiday because I believe in true LOVE! One of my favorite love songs is “Cherish the Day” by Sade. When I listen to the lyrics, I wonder if I will ever feel like that again. Very deep!
My favorite would have to be “Dream Girl” by Dave Matthews Band. I will always remember falling in love to that song. Or “Say Goodbye.” Another Dave song for any guy secretly in love with a girl who is a friend.
Marvin Gaye “Let’s Get It On” — this is just way sexy, all time fave!! Christian Keyes, “Cook My Dinner Naked” — this is one of our get in the mood songs for sure!! Love it! “Motivation,” Kelly Rowland: Omg! This song will put anyone in the mood it is amazing! Beyonce and Luther Vandross, “The Closer I Get To You” — Love love this one, so beautiful, romantic and sexy! And The Isley Brothers, “Between The Sheets” We made love to this one our first time!! Super all time favorite!!!!!
On Valentine’s Day every year for the past 5 years Michael and I have been together, what we like to do is go to a restaurant called One if by Land in Manhattan and on the way, we always, and I mean always listen to a BARRY WHITE CD! Favorite song: “Love Serenade”
All-time favorite romantic song: In honor of the late, great Whitney Houston “I Will Always Love You.” This song is timeless, young and old you can appreciate it. The song is so beautiful, the lyrics gives you chills it’s a beautiful wedding song too. Let’s not lie, we’ve all tried to sing it but no one can do it quite like Miss Houston did. RIP. Go-to “get in the mood” song: If you really wanna set the mood up and “get it on” on Valentine’s day, pop in some Marvin Gaye “Let’s Get It On,” that will make it a sexy night with a nice glass of wine. An anti-Valentines day song: Chillllleeeee, TLC‘s “No Scrubs.” Us girls don’t want no man hollering from his homeboy’s ride out the passengers side. lol NO SCRUBS BOO BOO!!!
