Our Favorite Moments From The Mob Wives Reunion: Part 2

Drita Mob Wives Reunion

Part one of the Mob Wives reunion last week ended in a heated confrontation between Drita and Ramona where punches were nearly thrown. Part two had a decidedly different feel. A little more fun, a lot more family-oriented. It was also great to see Joe and David (the men in Carla and Karen‘s lives) take the stage — we definitely hope to see more of them in the future. So since all the shocking moments were taken care of in part one, let’s discuss the cutest, funniest, and most entertaining moments of part two.

1. This Is Joy’s Show, Let Her Talk

From the melee that spilled over from last week, where Ramona and Drita incomprehensibly argued with, threatened, and tried to out-volume each other, came a funny exchange between Karen and Renee. While Drita and Lucifina yelled, Renee tried to make peace, talking over them ans asking them to stop, at which point Karen shut her up, saying “Be quiet, Renee! This is Joy’s show, let her talk,” referring to host Joy Behar. “Oh, I’m sorry, you’re right, Joy, this is your show. So ask them to be quiet and ask questions and maybe one person at a time will talk.” “Do you think they’re gonna listen to me?” Joy asked, joking, but then assured Renee everything would be fine as long as no one got out of their seats again. (Did you catch Joy, mouth covered and practically giggling when Drita suggested they take the fight outside after the show, by the way? She, like the rest of us, has no idea how to process this kind of fight.)

2. Welcome, Felons

The cast is known for their word-smithery (is that even a thing? I’m not as well known for my own word-smithery as they are…) and tonight everyone was on their game. From Joy welcoming Joe and Dave to the stage with “Welcome, felons…I mean fellas,” to Joe explaining that the show “Is a hit…literally,” in jail, it was a pun-tastic episode.

3. Carla and Her Single Man

Carla and her ex, Joe, have a great relationship for a divorced couple, and when you add in the fact that he spent six years behind bars, their rapport and positivity is something to behold. Even Joes philandering ways make them giggle. “What was it I used to call you? ‘The single man!’” Carla says when she explains that Joe acted single even when they were married. God bless her for being a kind, forgiving woman, because most people aren’t able to get past that. “I’m not worried about the little girl because I know she’ll probably come and go,” Carla says about Joe’s current girlfriend. To which he added “Like underwear.” (“I personally think they’re in love,” Renee said about them.)

4. Karen’s Not Staying In New York Forever…

Karen bragged about how Dave “lays it down in the bed,” (cue Big Ang’s uncontrollable giggles!) on the show this season, and it was obvious that the couple is focused on raising their daughter first, and working on their relationship second. Dave said on the reunion that he’s got a great job opportunity in Arizona at the moment so he won’t be coming to Staten Island, which prompted Karen to admit she’ll probably be leaving New York eventually to go back to him. “I can’t just close up shop and go back to Arizona,” she explained, but said that for the time being, Karina will live with her in New York.

5…But Wherever They Are, They’re Having More Kids

When Joy asked Dave where he sees their relationship in ten years, he gave this adorable answer: “[With] a couple more kids.” Everyone, even Drita, applauded and cheered when Joy asked if they made a great couple, and it’s clear they still love each other and the spark is still there.

6. Drita’s Conundrum: Lee Is Too Nice Now

Drita joked in our reunion interview with her that she hopes once her ex-husband Lee is out of jail, she doesn’t get too caught up in the moment with him, lest they get a little passionate. “Lee’s hot. I’m just hoping I don’t get caught up alone with him after drinking,” she told us, laughing. And on the reunion show, she reiterated that thought, explaining that Lee has been the ideal ex, super nice, and making her miss him and planting doubts about their breakup. It’s easier when they’re “being an a—hole,” she said. Everyone agreed that Drita should get back with Lee when Joy asked. “Everyone deserves a second chance,” sayeth Renee. (Is there anyone Renee doesn’t think should get be together??)

7. F-Bomb Queen

Renee Graziano is the queen of the f-bombs. Throughout the course of the season, the Mob Wives Swear Counter tallied up 407 f—s to come out of her mouth. “My mother’s going to be really upset,” she laughed. And let’s be clear, this total doesn’t even include the reunion or bonus scenes.

8. The Origin Of A Rift

Finally, we get some idea of where the Drita/Ramona schism started. Drita explained that in their teens, she, Karen, and Ramona’s sister used to hang out, but she only met Ramona recently, after Ramona returned to the U.S. after her divorce. They hung out peacefully for a bit, but as it always happens on this show, Drita heard rumors about Ramona talking about her, and Ramona heard a rumor that Drita was trying to block her from getting on the show itself. “I wasn’t trying to block her from the show, I was trying to block a big f—ing problem on the show,” Drita rebutted. Once again a stirred pot, all because of second-hand information. “We could never be friends,” Drita said of their current status. “We’re both on the same level. Don’t bother me, I won’t bother you,” Ramona agreed.

9. Joy’s Final Word

“I like all of you, but you all have raging issues,” Joy joked near the end of the show, saying what we all feel sometimes. No better way to sum up these ladies and this season, we think.

  1. Terrie Edgecomb says:

Drita and Ramona i dont think have a chance to becoming friends. They are like oil and vinigar. They just do not mix. And it keeps us watching for any action that may or may not happen.. Put those two in the ring and lets see what happens. lol

  2. ANNETTE CICCARELLI says:

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE DRITA KICK RAMONA’S ASS.

  3. just asking says:

Drita, I love to see you interact with your children. It’s so obvious your mothering heart for them. I don’t understand where your blinding rage comes from. Why are you so quick to battle and become infuriated? It seems you have a preset fuse and are easy to feel threatened. To me, you take it there (a place it does not need to go) for little or no reason. I stopped fighting when I was a teenager. I really don’t understand how women of your age and who are mothers still behave like they did when they were children. It’s very dangerous behavior as you can get hurt or hurt someone one. Why would you risk this happening when you have the responsibility of caring for your daughters? I did not find anything on the show that justified your physical outbursts.
