After spending days away from her daughter, Shayne realizes that she would rather spend her time caring for herchild than go through the painful and frustrating process of rebuilding her broken relationship with Nik. Dr. Jenn, however, thinks otherwise and tries to convince her to give therapy another shot, and she also suspects that Shayne is using her daughter as an excuse to abandon Couples Therapy and Nik all together.
