In case you missed this YouTube instant classic, last week during Hurricane Sandy, Coco Austin reported live from the front lines (a.k.a. her balcony) to show the world just how badly New Jersey was being hit by the storm. Well, as Justin Bieber can attest, sometimes putting yourself out there on YouTube can lead to all kinds of job offers, and the folks at VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live want Coco on-board as the resident meteorologist. Host Carrie Keagan explains “Coco put herself outside during the height of hurricane Sandy, to weather the storm so the rest of us didn’t have to and looked darn good doing it. That kind of dedication and charisma is what our show is all about. I would love to have Coco join my team.”
Buzz executive producer Shane Farley added “After seeing her deliver a weather update during Hurricane Sandy, we knew she would be the perfect person to report the weather on our show.” In a world dominated by Al Roker, Sam Champion, and Jim Cantore, we personally think it’s high time a lady got in on the storm reporting action. Coco, if you’re listening, just think about it. For us.
