Amanda Bynes Discusses Fame And Being A “Normal Person” In This Sneak Peek From 100 Greatest Kid Stars

|

Amanda Bynes‘ recent public meltdown(s) have had us all concerned that she’s gone the route of so many other starlets who earned their fame at a young age and then started showing signs that maybe all that early attention did more harm than good. But at one point, the actress had a really good head on her shoulders, as you can see in this clip from VH1′s 100 Greatest Child Stars which premieres Thursday, November 29th at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In the clip, a young Amanda discusses staying grounded in the entertainment and explains “I think a lot of people have a hard time staying grounded because they forget so easily where they came from. They forget so easily that they’re, you know, a normal person.” If only young Amanda could have this very conversation with her current self, you know?

Tune in to 100 Greatest Kid Stars for more clips like this one, starting November 29th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
