Royce Reed Recaps Episode 5 Of Basketball Wives: “HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO GET HIT BY A CLUTCH PURSE??”

It’s time once again to welcome Royce Reed back to the blog so she can tell it like it is. For the past two seasons of Basketball Wives, Royce has recapped every episode, all the highs and lows, and given us her completely honest and unfiltered opinion. We’re thrilled to have her back for season four.
OK HERE WE GO!!! AGAIN, THIS IS MY BLOG AND I SAY WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT AND HOW I WANT. IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT DON’T READ IT.
I know its a bit late but, hey, I’ve been really busy…I do work lol. This blog is pretty easy and straight to the point. Nothing really happened, drama-wise so there is no real “Ooooooh chiiiilllleee” moments to write about…well, until the end.

Tami Roman’s Thoughts On Basketball Wives Episode 5: “It’s Not My Job To Blog, BUT I’m Going To Do It Anyway”

This season is bringing out the writer in everyone on Basketball Wives, that’s for sure. Between Jennifer and Evelyn‘s blogs, plus the regular recap that Royce posts for us here, we’re getting a ton of insider information and multiple sides to every storyline on the show, and for the past couple weeks, Tami Roman has thrown her two cents in on her website as well. So what’s Tami have to say about Monday night’s episode? Read for yourself. (As always, the ladies are verbose, so we have abbreviated this post and pulled some of the best quotes, but do yourself a favor and read the entire thing on Tami’s site.) Keep reading till the end, Tami definitely has some choice words not just for her cast mates but for her producers as well.

It’s Not My Job to Blog, BUT I’m going To Do It Anyway

Watching this episode made it official…it’s my turn to play the angry black woman. I don’t want to address to many things because I will see all of these ladies at the reunion and I’m much more of a face to face person, but here goes…

Couples Therapy Star Tashera Simmons Says She’ll Never Love Anyone Like She Loves DMX

You may not know very much about Tashera Simmons at the moment, but if you tune in to Couples Therapy, which premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1, you’ll get an intimate look at the woman whose other half is rapper DMX. Tashera and DMX have known each other for an astonishing twenty five years (though they’ve been separated for six years), and in this interview with Cherry Martinez, she opens up about their relationship. Consider this interview like a primer before the show tonight. The issue with their relationship lies partially in the fact that her husband has fathered six children with other women while still married to Tashera, and still the woman is a picture of calm and grace. “Something about him just struck a chord with me,” Tashera says. “He’s all I’ve ever known.”

What’s it like being the wife of an A-list actor, singer, or athlete? Kesha Nichols Shows Off Her Boy Band Moves And Clears Up Some Rumors On Big Morning Buzz Live

Kesha Nichols swung by Big Morning Buzz Live today to chat with Carrie Keagan about being the new girl on Basketball Wives, which she says was like re-living the first day of high school all over again. Carrie got right into it with Kesha, asking her if she thinks Tami will ever apologize so that they can mend their relationship. “She will never apologize,” Kesha replied. “I’m sorry, I don’t think she’s the apologizing type.”

A couple more fun facts we learned from this clip: she’s a former shoe model, she loves boy band choreography (New Kids On The Block, to be exact) and isn’t afraid to whip it out if asked, and no, she never tried to get Kenya’s husbands phone number. Watch the full clip of Kesha’s appearance above. Basketball Wives airs Monday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Behind-The-Scenes: Drita D’Avanzo Steps Up To The Mic In French Montana Video

All this month our friends at Tuner have been keeping tabs on Bad Boy rapper French Montana who cast Drita D’Avanzo to co-star in his upcoming music video “Everything’s A Go.” Lucky for us we managed to sneak onto the Bronx set last week to snap some behind-the-scenes pictures. We got an eyeful of flesh, cash, booze and an excited Drita in the middle of it all, laughing and joking with French, Wale and Coke Boys like she’s known them for years. “I’ve never bonded with anyone as quickly as I did with them,” she explained. “They remind me of my friends back home.” So, it’s no surprise that Mob Wives‘ resident tough chick held her own with a roomful of men from popping bottles of Ciroc to making it rain on some strippers. All in day’s work, right? We’ll have to wait a little bit longer to see Drita take the mic and spit a few bars(!) in the finished product, but she insists it will be worth the wait. “People are going to bug when they see [my flow in] this video, she promised.Already bugging, girl!

An Exclusive Chat With Kesha Nichols About Her Onscreen Conflicts, And How She Might Bring Some Muscle With Her To The Reunion

I sat down with Kesha Nichols this week to talk about her life as a basketball wife, and I think we had a great little chat. We took some photos of her for an upcoming post, we asked her about her most embarrassing childhood story (it’s a doozie), and of course we asked her what in the world is going on this season between all the women, and she was, much like she is on the show, honest, but not pot-stirring. She told me that filming wrapped on season four (an unprecedented twenty weeks of filming) this past weekend, so for now, she’s back in New York City, working on her dance company, Sugar and Spice, and enjoying the freedom that comes with the off-season. Of course, there’s always the reunion. We’ll get to that.

There’s been some drama online between Tami and Royce and I was wondering if you would talk about that and tell us how it’s affected you.

As far as Royce and Tami, I have nothing to do with their friendship and relationship. I have gone to Royce as a friend telling her my concerns, but I’ve never given her my opinion of Tami, I’ve never said anything bad about her. Royce is her own person, they have their own relationship, and she chooses to speak to Tami about Tami’s behavior, not for me, not because of me. Whatever is going on with them is between the two of them.
