This episode was very disturbing. From the airing of the dirty laundry and throwing skeletons out the closet to questioning the loyalty of a friendship because you were told you were wrong…

I cringed as I watch the scenes between Evelyn and Jenn. In all the interviews I’ve read from both sides I’ve NEVER read about Jenn telling anyone’s secrets. Not Nia’s, not Evelyn’s. Sure, some of her statements can be taken the wrong way, but isn’t that what we signed up for when we decided to do a reality show? To have an opinion? To voice that opinion? I’m confused. Single Ladies – Episode 1 – Where Were We?


It’s been too long since we’ve caught up with our Single Ladies and big changes are under foot.

Before we do anything else, let’s meet Raquel:

We’re introduced to Raquel mid-tango. She’s insanely beautiful, insanely talented (just look at that footwork), newly engaged to Victor, a doctor, and she’s successful at work. On paper, she’s perfect and it would be obnoxious if she weren’t so sweet to boot.

Raquel and Keisha are lifelong friends, they go way back, but haven’t seen one another in years, and when they see one another they can’t be happier. Keisha has a sixth sense though and can tell that something’s amiss with Raquel. This is not the girl she knew from their days back in Inglewood, this Raquel is polished and perfect, and it clearly shows the influence that her mother has had on her. Victor is smart, rich, and he’ll be a great dad, Raquel tells Keisha. “What more could I ask for in a man?” “How ’bout a reason to change your panties?” Keisha deadpans.

The Reunion Interview: A Brief Word With Big Ang Before She Gets Spray-Tanned

Big Ang can be the most hilarious woman in the room, or she can be a woman of few words. And sometimes she can be both. When I visited her dressing room before the Mob Wives reunion taped recently, she floated in and out of the room trying outfits on (including a metallic gold shorts-suit which she rocked, no kidding), getting her makeup done, and ultimately leaving to get her tan touched up, but when we did sit and chat, she was as awesome as we know her to be from the show. She and Carla were hanging out together as we spoke, and Carla filled us in a little on what Big Ang can really be like off-camera.

What’s the most surprising moment from this season?

Ang: The dinner party at the end of the season. That went well. I think that was the most shocking. And all the kids had a great time.

What has it been like for you since you’ve gone from zero to sixty since the season premiered.

Ang: I pinch myself, like, is this really happening? I’m f—in nuts! I’m beside myself. Read more…

We made a few stray observations while hanging out on the stage of the Mob Wives reunion: the ladies laugh, gab, and fight just as much off-camera as on, they all seem to adore David and Joe, as evidenced by the way they all lit up when the men took the stage, and a few of them need the occasional cigarette break to cut the tension.

Now that you’ve seen what went down on both parts of the reunion special, take a look at what we saw on stage before and after the cameras rolled. From the chatty moments, wardrobe fixes, and the tense stares, we saw it all, and now, so can you.

Master Matchmaker Steve Ward is back for another season of Tough Love, and each week, he’ll be giving us an exclusive look at what went down behind the scenes on the series. This week, we discussed Melissa‘s inability to be happy and that delicate relationship with the mother of the man you love.

Melissa broke up with Chris this week, but then at the end of the same episode she admitted she missed him, and then she couldn’t even choose one guy out of the eight that you presented to her. Why is she so picky, what’s going on with her?

The fact is thatch was trying to tell me she’s not attracted to certain guys, and basically she was trying to put it on me, like it’s my fault I haven’t found her someone that she’s really into, and I’m like, look, I don’t care if you meet somebody or if you don’t, but you’re going to go through this with somebody and you’re going to learn from it. Even if it involves breaking up with somebody. Chris put his neck on the line, he embarrassed himself for her, so I was like, I don’t care, you’re going to learn how to break up with somebody. You haven’t learned how to meet somebody, how to be intimate with somebody, how to have a relationship, but guess what? Ramona Rizzo certainly made a mark this season as a new castmember on Mob Wives. The tough girl who comes straight from an old school mob family is not someone to be messed with, but underneath her tough exterior, she’s just a mom of four who loves fashion (we covet her Gucci shoes from the reunion!) and family. When we chatted at the reunion, it was obvious that the Ramona you see on TV is the real Ramona, and she’s loyal to her “cousin” Karen till the end. See what she has to say about the whereabouts of her jewelry, and how she brushes off what she considers hollow threats of Drita and Carla, whom she calls “camera gangsters.”

How has life changed for you since the show started?

More than anything it’s different for my kids. When I go out, like the other day I went shopping, and people stopped and wanted autographs and my daughter was like “Come on, Mom.” Other than that, my life hasn’t changed. I’ll always be me, I’ll never change for the camera.

Part one of the Mob Wives reunion last week ended in a heated confrontation between Drita and Ramona where punches were nearly thrown. Part two had a decidedly different feel.
